Time went back to a little while before the fight started.
While walking towards the injured giant, Peter suddenly found a little girl sneakily approaching towards them under the covers of trees and even terrain along a small canyon.
She just happened to be at a place which was almost out of the scope of his spiritual sense radar but was still included. Under normal condition, Peter’s spiritual sense only spreads around him with nearly thirty meters in radius and him as the center. In fully running state, it would increase to fifty meters.
He was surprised. This is not a place where a child could roam around freely without any accompany.
Then, he quickly noticed the fact that the little girl got the almost identical appearance with the corpse they found in the building. They must be twins.
Peter couldn’t wait to pull out a thread and follow it till the end.
Feeling that no one in the team had found out the careful little girl, he decided to communicate with their other party first. After all, it is easy to get the trust of children.
“Hello, sweetie. Why are you alone in the woods?”

Then, Peter was amazed by the timid looking little girl. She stood up again and asked while her curious eyes kept scanning around.
“Are you mister ghost? Do you want Lilith to do something for you? Mother told me that ghosts were born because they still got unfulfilled wishes.”
Peter looked at the four or five years old little girl with his spiritual sense and felt heavy.
He wondered what kind of parents left their cute child alone in the dangerous woods.
“I do want to be your mister ghost who has a wish to protect you. But I am not. Little Lilith, uncle is here to save you from this dangerous woods. Do you remember the armored knight who walked in the front with a sword in his hand? That’s me.”
“It’s safe here with us. You can come out now. Trust me.”
“But, uncle, you guys looked fierce.”
“Because it was necessary, Lilith. Uncle is the warrior of Sun God. Do you know the Sun God? He is a great being who loves and protect all living beings. Uncle has sworn to protect every innocent beings.”
At first, little Lilith showed her distrust. But after hearing that Peter is a warrior of Sun God, her thinking changed. She felt that she could trust on warrior of God. Isn’t her mother also serving a God?
After seeing the little girl’s changes and her movement to come out of the small canyon, Peter knew that he had gained her trust. He felt that things would be cleared soon.
After scanning the surroundings again and feeling that there was no danger, Peter took back the weapon and armor into his body again and stepped out to meet the little girl called Lilith.
While smoothing out the little girl with gentle words through distance voice spiritual technique, Peter narrowed the distance between them. He smiled slightly as little Lilith came out of the canyon.
It was also the time when Ben and other guys noticed the little guy who came out suddenly as well as the giant suddenly became anxious for some unknown reasons.
Hearing the growls and the sound of gunshots, Peter immediately sensed the situation at the back with his spiritual sense. He was worried for a moment until he noticed that Ronald was just sent flying a few meters backwards without any injuries.
Of course, he also noticed that the giant looked more liked a giant bear with strange mutation.

Hearing the sudden shout, Ronald hurriedly raised the gun muzzle to the air forcefully as he was already pulling the trigger. Moreover, his target was the head of the giant.

Seeing the patrol vehicle among the neatly parked pickup truck, she thought of her two children.
Her beautiful fingers became snow white as she held the tome tighter.
She quickly closed the door and ran into the woods without even locking the vehicle.
She became anxious and was in a hurry. After all, there in the woods, her two girls might be facing the law enforcers or could be worse. Her silver eyes looked colder while tiredness was shown on her face.
