"So you're going to have a meal with Grandma this weekend?"
Shao Yan was about to turn to a corner, so she hit the brake to slow down gradually. The phone was in speaker mode as she was talking to Risa about a project.
She was driving to a printing house today. On the way there, Risa decided to call to ask about the status, so they decided to talk for a while.
"Yes, I bought some green tea leaves as well. I'm curious how Grandma will like it," Shao Yan answered as she turned her head around to check on the incoming traffic.
Risa hummed in the phone and then she added, "Grandma is picky, especially about tea leaves. Hey it's out family business after all. However, i know that she loves you, and she will be lenient towards family," Shao Yan could hear her soft chuckles following her 'not so encouraging' statement.
Shao Yan rolled her eyes, "Alright, I know. So when are you going to meet Helen Kanagawa? Who is going to be your mediator?"
A rustling noise was heard from her side; Shao Yan assumed she was replacing the phone from one ear to another ear.
"You know what? All of a sudden, Karl, the hottie we met in Daniel's office before, he called me a few days ago."
Shao Yan clicked her tongue, "Hey hey! What hottie, remember your hubby," and then she laughed, "Ok continue. So what about Karl?"
Risa cleared her throat, and then she said, "So, he said that he heard about the incident about the cat fight a few days ago, and asked me if I need any help. I told him about my plan to talk to her, and then suddenly he offered to be the mediator. Isn't it interesting?"
She took a quick pause, and then continued, "So, my nosy radar started to tingle. I asked him right away why he wanted to do that."
Shao Yan stayed quiet the whole time, before she replied, "And then? What did he say?"
Risa chuckled softly, "Karl said, Daniel and Axel are working on a huge case and it's related to Kanagawa Industries," her voice was raised higher and higher towards the end; showing her excitement, "Isn't it crazy, Yan Yan? What a coincidence!"
"Ohh!" Shao Yan reflexively exclaimed, "No wonder! Xiqing was very surprised when he heard that Helen Kanagawa is here in Shanghai and he called Axel right away."
"Yeah! So, Karl told me right away that he wanted to be a 'spy' is what he said," Risa burst a laugh, "so of course I said yes immediately!"
And then Risa lowered her voice down, as if she was about to talk about a serious matter, "It's so exciting, Yan Yan! I feel like I'm shooting a Mission Impossible movie right now," she paused, "or maybe James Bond? And I can definitely be the hot Bond girl! Hehe!"
And then they laughed together.
Risa continued to talk about nonsense stuff, while Shao Yan kept driving to the printing house.
Around thirty minutes later, she finally arrived.
Shao Yan parked the car, and then she picked up the phone and turned off the speaker mode, "Sis, I've arrived, I'll call you back later. Don't forget to call me after your meeting, alright?"

Risa hung up, and then she continued to work through her emails.
When the clock hit ten minutes to three o'clock, her desk phone started to ring. Her fingers which were typing busily on the keyboard, suddenly paused, and then Risa reached out to pick up the receiver and placed it on her left ear.
She pinched it still with her shoulder as she continued typing on the plastic keys.
"Miss Yamaguchi, your guest, Karl Wegner is here," said the front desk receptionist who was staring boldly at Karl with glittering eyes.
'Such a hottie! Such a cutie!' the receptionist thought to herself; while wondering why he was here and not looking for the executives, but instead, Risa Yamaguchi.
Risa hummed as a reply, "En, please let him in, I'll come out soon. Please direct him to meeting room G and I will wait for him there. Thank you," and then she hit the email send button, before she hung up the phone.
She quickly typed in more buttons, and then the computer started to shut down.
Risa got up from her chair, and then she turned around to grab the suit jacket from behind her chair and put it on.
The weather suddenly turned chilly today. The temperature dropped and became more windy than usual.
She picked up the small mirror on her desk and checked her appearance. Satisfied with her own look, Risa placed the mirror back on the desk, and with a computer tablet in her hand, and her mobile phone in the other hand, she walked out of her office area.

Risa was just about to press the elevator keypad, when suddenly elevator C opened, and came out Karl; walking in her direction suavely.
In his palm, a huge bouquet of sunflowers rested grandly. The big, manly hand wrapped around the stems as the crowns swayed along the movement of the tall man.
Risa was speechless while looking at this view in front of her. His mesmerizing blue eyes were staring at her, and with the big sunflower bouquets in front of his chest; Karl looked so elegant like a prince that stepped out of fairy tale book.
"Y-you.. What is this?" Risa started to stutter when Karl stood in front of her.
He handed the bouquet to her. She had her eyes glued onto the flowers; ever since he stepped out, until they appeared in front of her.
"They are for you. It's a beautiful day outside. These beautiful flowers fit the beautiful lady in front of me," and after Karl handed the flowers to her, he slipped both hands into his pants pocket.
Risa looked down at the flowers, and then she looked up at him again, "Uh. Thanks?" She looked a little lost, before she quickly gathered herself and continued to say, "you know that I am married, yeah?"
She could see the change in his face. From the bright smile, his lips slowly curved down and his face turned serious, "I heard. Shao Yan told me," and then he sighed, "don't worry about the flowers. They are really a gift for you to celebrate a beautiful day. That's all."
