Karl kept his eyes trained on her until he could not see her anymore. A sad smile featured on his face.
It was so rare for him to find a beauty like Risa, equipped with the right sassy attitude and the stunning brain that he deeply adored.
He looked down to his feet and then he scoffed; and laughing pitifully over his own self.
'Of all the beauties in the world, you just have to fall in love with someone else's wife? How stupid are you?'
Karl took a deep breath and looked up to the ceiling.
'Just today. And then, I shall move on.'

"So, what is in the agenda?" Karl asked as he keyed in the floor destination to the keypad.
She replied almost immediately without thinking it through, "I'll just scare the bitch out of this world, I guess," Risa shrugged.
After pausing for a while, she cleared her throat and then continued, "I mean, first, ask her nicely what she wants. And if she gets riled up and rude, hmm. Maybe grab her hair and then broke her stupid nails," and then she swiftly turned her head around to look at him, "I'm kidding, of course, you know that right?"
She placed both hands under her chin in V-shape and continued, "I'm very gentle and elegant, and I don't condone violence, thank you very much."
Karl was stunned at her words, he lost what he wanted to say for a second, before his lips slowly curved to a very sexy smirk, and nodded his agreement, "Of course. Violence is never good enough." With his eyebrows raised up, his eyes glinted playfully, "intelligent people like us fight with brain, and not with muscles."
Risa let out a soft chuckles and she brought up one hand to cover her mouth as she laughed.

Risa and Karl had a long discussion on what to say, and what not to say in front of Helen Kanagawa and her entourage later.
When the clock hit four o'clock, the glass door to the meeting room opened, and came walked in Helen Kanagawa in her best appearance. Few people were following from behind.
Risa did not pay attention on the minions that Helen brought with her, and instead, she held her stare on Helen, who also did not back down from the staring contest.
Helen Kanagawa looked pristine in white suit, white silk blouse and white formal pants. Her wavy, slightly blonde hair ran loosely on her back.
A few gentlemen in black suits and grey suits followed closely behind her.
Before the door was finally closed, Karl noticed that VP Zhuang also walked in with a corporate lawyer, Mr. Xin. Karl then coughed softly to notify Risa, who took back her stare and finally saw VP Zhuang.
VP Zhuang first walked to Helen's side. He raised one hand and shook hands with everyone while introducing himself, "Welcome to Gold Crane, thank you for accepting my invite," and then he walked to the head of the table.

"First of all, thank you everyone for your time today," he turned his head to look at Risa, "Risa, I know I have promised you to let you take care of this yourself, but since the incident happened in this premise, indirectly, the company is also involved."
VP Zhuang lifted on hand with his palm upside up, and directed it to his left, "This, the company agreed to present here as an advisor or observer. However you want to call it.
He paused for a while, before continued again, "This is Lawyer Xin, our corporate lawyer. He is here mainly to make sure the discussion is civil and professional."
A short, plump man, maybe in his thirties stood next to VP Zhuang. His hair was combed neat to the side. His face had a decent attractiveness.
After VP Zhuang finished his introduction, Mr. Xin had a small curved of smile, adding a little charm to his face.
He scanned the whole room, and then he said, "Please speak as you wish, do not mind my existence here. I will be just taking notes and do my own things, don't worry about me," and then he walked to the first seat on his left. His hand ran over the front lapel of his navy blue suit jacket before unbuttoning the fist button and sat down.
He took out a laptop from his computer bag and started to power it on.
VP Zhuang looked at his nonchalant attitude, and felt a little speechless.
'O- Oi.. We paid you thousands of dollars to be a good mediator, what did you just do?!' he thought to himself, while shook his head slowly.
VP Zhuang then cleared his throat, "Uh. Okay, shall we start then?"

Risa started the discussion by throwing the first statement. Leaning back in her chair, she clasped both hands on her lap and started, "The incident happened last week. I heard some talks from people who sat around me about a commotion at lobby downstairs. At first, I didn't think too much about it, until Miss Kanagawa here suddenly stormed upstairs and started yelling at people." Risa lifted one hand and with her palm upward, pointed at Helen.
"Miss Kanagawa here is a former employee of OnScience. The company decided to let her go after we found out that she had set up another company outside thay had consumed her obligation towards OnScience."
Risa gave an inconspicuous smirk towards Helen, before she quickly said, "Men can't have two wives, likewise, an employee can't have two loyalties. Miss Kanagawa had her attention divided and that cause the company to suffer lost from incorrect project planning and management. And thus, it was only natural that the management decided to let her go, and instead sent me to Shanghai as OnScience project lead."
Risa paused her long speech to reach out and grab the glass water in front of her. She had tried to speak as professional as she could. It was really hard not to use curse words while telling her version of the story.
She looked down to glance at her wrist, 'Oh man! It's going to be a long day!' she lamented pitifully.
