Her fingertips slowly brushed the tiny cherub pendant. Her mind was recalling the moment when Li Xiqing gifted her the necklace during their 100th day celebration. She blushed as she remembered what happened in their bathtub that night.
She cleared her throat before saying, "H-He did say that he had it with him for a while, and that she finally found the right owner now," Shao Yan started to say softly.
Mandy nodded along her words solemnly, and did not say anything for a while. Her index fingertips were circling around the edge of her glass water; her head was tilted as she was thinking what to say.
And then, a moment later, Mandy extended her arms; she rolled her sleeves up to her wrist to show Shao Yan the bracelet that she was wearing.
"It was a pair of cherub," Mandy started to say, "I have one, Xiqing has the other one."
"They were gifts from our parents," she unlocked the gold chain bracelet and handed it to Shao Yan, "who received them from our Grandfather."
Shao Yan received it with both hands, and her fingertips brushed the cherub slowly. Similar to hers, the cherub on the bracelet was also sitting on a crescent moon. One hand was touching the bracelet and her other hand was brushing her own pendant. They looked really identical with each other; truly a pair.

"A very romantic love story lays behind these pair of cherub," Mandy looked at Shao Yan and Feifei, "if you want to know, I can tell the story to you now."
Feifei and Shao Yan exchanged looks with each other. Feifei shrugged, and then she said, "Xiao Yan, you can decide, if you want to hear it from Mandy jie, or from your boyfriend."
Mandy propped her chin on her hand, and chimed in, "That's right, Yan Yan. Although I doubt Xiqing will tell the story as romantic as I will," and then she laughed.
Shao Yan laughed along with them, and then she handed the bracelet back to Mandy, "If that's the case, let Xiqing tell the story then," She paused before she said, "to be honest, I want to see his expression when he is retelling this romantic story."
Mandy nodded as she extended her hand to receive the bracelet back, "Sure, it's a wise decision," and then she winked at her.

When they were done, Mandy insisted on paying for the dinner.
"Just take it as my welcome back gift to all of you, alright? No need to argue with me on this, "she said as she put her credit card on the tray that the server had brought over with their bill. Shao Yan felt a slight Deja vu with this experience. She remembered, Li Xiqing also said the same thing when he met Miss Blue Sea many months ago.
Shao Yan brought her head down to hide her smile. 'They are really blood siblings alright,' as she thought to herself, 'From the way they order food, to the words they say, they are so similar to each other.'
"Thank you, Sis, I came not only to get a new friend, but also got treated to a wonderful meal," Feifei said suddenly, "Oh! I was telling Xiao Yan this afternoon that I am opening a cake shop, more like a small cafe."
Feifei used her index finger and poked Shao Yan by her shoulder, "Don't forget to also bring Mandy jie to the Grand Opening party, alright?"
Shao Yan returned her smile, "Of course, Mandy jie and her husband are already included in my ten-people guest list."
"Alright!! I'm so excited!" Feifei exclaimed impatiently, "I really can't wait anymore," she said, as she took out her phone and started to text again.
Shao Yan felt really curious, she leaned over, wanted to peek at her message. Feifei had been busy texting this person the whole night, while also smiling to herself.
Feifei noticed what Shao Yan was doing, she quickly hid her phone to the other side, and slightly leaned away from Shao Yan.
"Xiao Yan! What are you doing?"
Shao Yan giggled at her childish behavior, "Feifei, what are you hiding? Who are you texting now, huh? Come, let me see, who's the lucky guy?"
Feifei quickly looked at her phone again, and finished her typing, before she locked the phone and shoved it back to her purse, "No one. Y-you will find out soon anyway," and then she turned back to face Mandy and picked up her cup and started to sip on her lemon tea.

When she arrived home that night, Axel was already home, and was watching a news channel in the living room. He got up from the sofa when he heard the front door was being unlocked and Mandy stepped into the apartment a moment later.
"Welcome home, dearie," Axel was standing at the foyer, his hand reached out to take the purse from Mandy's hand, "how was dinner?"
Mandy took off her boots, and then she stood up and leaned in closer to peck her husband on his lips, "Amazing food! The reviews on the internet were not lying, they really have amazing food."
She linked her arm around Axel's arm, and then walked inside together with him, "We should go there next time. Yan Yan brought a new friend tonight, the three of us had so much fun."
Axel touched her hand, and slowly let her go, and then he stepped behind her to take off her coat for her, "That's good. How are you feeling today?"
Mandy let him help her with the coat, and once it was off, Axel put it on the sofa, as he led his wife to sit next to him.
Mandy laid her head on his thigh, before she curled herself on the sofa and watched the news together with him.
"I feel fine, just a little tired from the driving, but I feel good."
Axel had his hand absentmindedly brushing Mandy's hair, and then the couple stayed quiet as they watched the news for a while.

"What do you want to watch now?"
Axel took the remote control from the side table and started to open the program menu, "I was watching the news channel, but we can watch your home renovating channel now, if you want?"
Mandy raised one hand to cover her mouth as she let out a big yawn, "Nah, maybe later, I will take my shower now."
Axel helped her to get up from her lying position, and they walked to the bedroom together.
Mandy suddenly smiled cheekily and walked in front of Axel while looking at him face to face. Her fingers traveled to the front of his shirt, and played around with his shirt buttons.
Her soft voice started to whisper as she said seductively, "Mister Husband, do you want to take a shower?" And without waiting for an answer, she started to unbutton his shirt.
Axel smirked at her suggestions. His hand went to her back, and started to unbuckle her obi belt. He discarded the belt on the floor, and then he leaned closer and skimmed her cheek with his lips, "Missus wife, I thought you will never offer?" And then he caressed her hips as he was trying to undress her long skirt.
