Shao Yan and Mandy had so much fun exploring L'atelier.
Feifei had mentioned an outdoor patio, so they decided to take a look.
Shao Yan found a wide, glass door with black metal frame. And when they looked pass through the transparent glass, they were amazed right away.
Shao Yan and Mandy exchanged looks and decided to go out. When they stepped out to the patio, they were pleasantly surprised to find a huge outdoor space in front of them.
The whole area was a combination of wood planks flooring and lush, green grass. Several playpens for pets were spread around the patio; Shao Yan noticed that some of Feifei's guests had come with their pets and were playing around with them outside. Cats, dogs and rabbits were playing with each other.
Dessert table was also set up in the corner, with the same selections of cakes and drinks.
Everyone was just having a good time while playing with their furry friends.
They were watching for a while, before Mandy tapped Shao Yan by her shoulder, "I'm not really that fond of pets, I have allergy to the cats' fur," Mandy started to say, "Yan Yan, you can go look around by yourself, and I'll just stay here."
Shao Yan smiled before she replied, "Looking at them from afar is good for me, too."
She noticed the dessert table, and then she turned back to Mandy, "Should I get some orange juices for us?"
Mandy nodded her head and placed one hand on Shao Yan's arm, "Thank you, Yan Yan," and then Shao Yan patted her in return, "No thanks. I'll be right back."

When he arrived, he saw there were already a lot of people in the shop. Zhong Yu opened the front door, and the small bell above the door chimed notifying his arrival.
Feifei was standing near the front door while talking to some of her guests. And as she saw Zhong Yu stepped in, Feifei bloomed with happiness.
"Zhong Zhong! There you are," she excused herself from her guests and walked over.
Zhong Yu glanced at her and handed over a box wrapped prettily in a silver decorative paper.
"Congratulations, Feifei, this is from my old man," Zhong Yu said before he scanned his eyes around the room.
He saw Li Xiqing right away, who was also looking back at him. He was talking to some people at his table, but when Zhong Yu looked for her, he could not see Shao Yan anywhere around Li Xiqing.
Feifei accepted the gift, and when she looked up, she saw Zhong Yu was looking around for someone. Her heart tinged with sadness, but this was not the first time she experienced this.
She had dressed up so beautifully today, hoping that he would spare a glance her way. But Feifei knew that it was a long shot when his heart was not even by her side.
Her fingers were holding onto the box really tight and Feifei slowly took a deep breath before she feigned a cheerful attitude and said, "You missed the opening just now. Lu Qian is in Paris, so you won't get to see him anyway. Xiao Yan is on the patio outside. And Liwei," Feifei paused before looking to her left and right, trying to locate Liwei, "I'm not sure where Liwei is."
Zhong Yu looked around the shop to find the way to the patio. When he finally saw the glass door, he started to walk towards the direction; leaving Feifei behind.

A lot of unfamiliar faces; and everyone dressed up in beautiful clothes, but he was concentrating to look for either Shao Yan or Liwei. He slowly walked along the side while trying to search for them. And when he spotted her, Zhong Yu picked a corner and stood on his spot with both arms crossed in front of his chest.
She was carrying a small plate on one hand, and with her other hand, she tucked her hair behind her ear. Her free hand then started to pick up the tongs and selected some mini cakes.
Unbeknownst to him, Zhong Yu was watching her with a very gentle gaze.
The afternoon sun shone upon her delicate face, Shao Yan looked heavenly. The color of the dress highlighted her creamy skin, and the cherry blossoms on her back just attracted the attention of everyone in the room. Zhong Yu felt a surge of jealousy whenever some other men took a second look at her. How he wanted to yank her away and hide her within his embrace.
Just when he was clenching his emotions, he felt someone was tapping his shoulder. Zhong Yu reflexively turned around only to see Liwei grinning widely at him.
"Old friend!" Liwei exclaimed in surprise.
Zhong Yu was caught off guard. He wanted to see if Liwei had noticed who he was looking at just now, but he remained calm and put up a poker face.
"Hey!" He greeted him back, "I heard you came back to Shanghai, but I do not have your local number so I did not know how to contact you."
Liwei was holding a wine glass on his right hand, and he waved his left hand at Zhong Yu, "I figured. I went to your Old Man's shop yesterday, but you were not around. I guess you were in the office."
Zhong Yu gave a small smile, "So, how long will you be here this time?"
Liwei took a sip of his wine, "Maybe until after Lunar New Year. We have some business to deal with while we are here," and then he feigned a punch on Zhong Yu's shoulder, "your Old Man told me about Feifei's party today, so I thought I should come over and meet everyone."
Liwei had been standing next to Zhong Yu and then he turned his face around to look in front of him, "I saw Yan Yan around just now, but I have not got the chance to talk to her yet," he glanced back at Zhong Yu, "damn! Did you see what she looks like right now? Gorgeous as hell!"
