“Welcome back, Rolando-sama. Once again, please allow us to extend our heartfelt welcome. We all welcome you.”
Starting with Sobas’ greeting, all the servants present bowed their heads to show their welcoming intent. It seemed that Sara and the others were blinking in surprise at this display of courtesy.
If these were servants of a noble family, they might have shown some degree of hostility, but our servants seemed to have a certain adaptability to my unique situation.
For now, I gave instructions to Sobas and the others to guide Sara and the rest to their respective guest rooms, then made my way to my own room.
I didn’t really have any business in my own room at the moment, but I felt that in such situations, the host shouldn’t directly attend to the guests. Therefore, I decided to give Sobas and the others an opportunity to host Sara and her companions.
Since they hadn’t been given significant tasks before, they seemed quite eager this time. Regardless of the difference in race between demons and humans, their strong desire to be of service to their master was evident, and I couldn’t help but appreciate their attitude toward their work.
“Once this matter is concluded, perhaps I should take the servants on a company trip?”
I did intend to pay them a more than adequate salary for their work, but I recalled Sobas often complaining about not providing work that was commensurate with their pay.
However, I had no intention of reducing their salaries, nor did I want to force work on them. As someone who knew of the existence of black companies in my previous life, I believed that providing fair compensation for labor, whether it was physically demanding or not, was the bare minimum courtesy for an employer.
Another issue was that this world was less safe than the Earth I came from, with the potential for people to die easily. Therefore, it was necessary for individuals to have their own means of self-sufficiency.
“I should definitely train the servants more after this matter is concluded.”
In terms of their abilities, they would certainly not fall behind unless they were compared to true experts, but there were incredibly strong beings in this world, just like me or the loli hag.

After the dishes were prepared and the servants took their seats, I decided to make a brief comment to maintain the appearance of hosting the guests.
“Today’s meal is a bit extravagant due to Sara and her companions being here. I’m not a noble, so I don’t put on airs. I’m not sure if it suits your tastes, but it shouldn’t taste bad, so please give it a try. Well then, let’s eat.”
With my words, lunch for Sara and her companions began. The dishes were indeed quite elaborate, as I had informed Sara and the others. Ruzzo had put in a lot of effort.
While the servants quietly enjoyed their meals, I also glanced at Sara and her group, who were eating in silence. From the speed at which they were digging in, it seemed they were quite pleased with the food.
The meal consisted of freshly baked soft bread served with a salad made from fresh vegetables. For the main course, we had steak made from the finest “Monster Meat” taken from the Manticore.
For dessert, we served sweet potatoes, which also seemed to be well-received as all the dishes disappeared.
“These are all new dishes for us, but they are very delicious.”
“That’s good to hear. Well then, I’ll be heading back to the Demon World to somehow resolve this incident. Please wait here.”
“Although it’s our responsibility to handle this, we apologize for relying so heavily on Rolando-sama.”

There, I found Cham struggling to break free from her restraints, having awakened from the sleep magic.
“You’re awake. Perfect timing.”

While saying this, I released her from her restraints and tried to leave, but Cham attempted to attack me. Being an assassin-type practitioner, her movements were incredibly fast, but from my perspective, they were slow enough that her attacks couldn’t hit me.

With no way to stop me, Cham seemed to lose her will to continue attacking. Ignoring her as she hung her head, I left Sanya’s room, heading toward a specific destination.
