The aftermath of the cataclysmic event left the once peaceful village in ruins. Fire engulfed the roads, and the devastation was evident in every corner. The buildings, once symbols of tranquility, now stood as shattered remnants of a forgotten past. Zero, shocked by the sight before him, could hardly comprehend the scale of destruction.

Amidst the chaos, five enigmatic figures emerged, dressed in black cloaks adorned with the symbol of a crowned goat. Their presence exuded an aura of mystique, leaving Zero intrigued and unnerved.

"I have to go," Zero exclaimed, panic and nervousness evident in his voice as he felt compelled to save everyone in the village. However, Kale intervened, stopping Zero in his tracks. Fear gripped Kale's heart, not wanting Zero to meet the same fate as the villagers who had fallen at the hands of the dark figures.

"Are you crazy? Do you want to die that much?" Kale pleaded, desperately trying to reason with Zero.

"What am I supposed to do then? Sit here and watch them slaughter our family, friends, and the people of the village?" Zero's voice quivered with a mix of desperation and agony. He felt helpless, trapped in a situation where the odds seemed insurmountable.

Tears streamed down Maia's face as she joined the conversation. "Hick, waaah," she sobbed, overwhelmed by the tragedy that had befallen the village and the impending danger that loomed over them.

Frustration and self-blame consumed Kale. He punched the ground, crying out in anguish. "Damn it! I want to save the village too, but I'm weak. Damn it!" he exclaimed, his voice laced with regret.

Zero's voice cracked as he expressed his own feelings of weakness. "Me too, I'm too weak. Why is this happening to us? Who are they? Why, God?" His words were muffled by his tears as they watched the village being ravaged by the five enigmatic figures.

"Now, be prepared to die and offer your blood to our almighty God, Seth. Be thankful that your vermin's blood has purpose in this world. Your blood will be the offering to Lord Seth, and you will be baptized by it," one of the black-cloaked figures proclaimed, radiating an enigmatic power that resembled that of a holy maiden.

The villagers, swayed by the figure's words and the holy radiance she exuded, believed it was an honor to die for the sake of their god. Their minds were clouded, unable to see the truth in Zero's desperate plea.

From afar, Zero shouted with every ounce of his being, "You guys have been fooled! They are murderers!" His voice echoed through the chaos, but it fell on deaf ears. The villagers, consumed by their belief, remained oblivious to Zero's warnings.

"Please, guys, please listen to me!" Zero cried out, his voice weakened from earlier shouting. Kale and Maia joined in the tears, their hearts filled with pain and sorrow. The village they loved, their cherished hometown, was gone. They were left in a state of unbearable agony.
