Chapter 29: Amour

It was almost time for the sun to set and the night to begin, birds were returning back to their nests. "My Lady please close your eyes, now we will apply powder." The maid said.
"Yes!" I said as I closed my eyes.
And here in such a lovely evening I am stucked inside my room for the last 5 or 6 hours.
"How much longer do I need to close my eyes." I said.
"Just a little more and then you will be done." The maid said.
"Okay~" I said.
"And now for the last step give me the perfume." The Maid said and sprinkled the perfume above my head, it was a light perfume just the way I liked.
"And now you are done!" She said as she clapped her hands.
I slowly opened my eyes, and I was shocked to see my own reflection in the mirror.
"So pretty.." I murmured as I touched the mirror.
"Seems like the lady is acknowledged by her beauty too!" The maid Hana said as she smiled towards me.
My hair was tied in two space buns and as for dress I wore the one I buyed from the shop with lady Smith. As ornaments I wore a pearl bracelet on my right hand and a pearl hairpiece which gave me a peaceful and delicate look.
And lastly for shoes a simple shoe with little diamonds like thing attached at the sides for design.
And my face thanks to makeup it looks really pretty yet natural.
"You really worked hard." I said as I looked at them.
"Yes they surely did!" Father said as he came inside my room, all dressed up in a white lonh tuxedo with golden and purple colour designs in it.
"Daddy!" I said as I stood up from my seat and went towards him.
"My Daughter sure looks pretty." Father said as he smiled towards me and patted my head.
"My lord please don't pat her head like that you might mess up her hairstyle." The headmaid said from behind.
"Yes!" Father said as he took his hand away from my head. The headmaid Mary is sure strict and straightforward, even Father can't go against her.
But..."Mary you are back!"I said with a bright smile.
"Yes My lady I am." She said as her strict voice and face softened.
"I missed you!" I said as I went near her.
"I missed my lady too!" She said as she bowed towards me with a smile in her face.
Mary has a soft spot for me and Ash, maybe because she is weak to children or maybe because she was nanny who took care of both me and Ash when we were kids.
"Mary you treat me differently in compared to my kids." Father said as he looked at both of us.
"My lord they are still kids they don't need to be treated strictly." Mary said straightforwardly.
"Yeah right..." Father said as he gave her a *are you kidding me* look.
Oh right I need to pack that present too, "Hana, could you please pack the present, located in my table." I said as I looked at her.
"Yes sure my lady." She said as she packed the gift in a nice gift paper.
"But where is Ash?" Father asked looking around my room.
"Ash he went to his room since he was getting bored." I said as I took the present from Hana hands.
"Thanks!" I said to Hana.
"My Lady please don't mention it." Hana said.
"Then Irene shall we go." Father asked as he gave me his hand.
"Yes sure!" I said as I took his hands.
"Don't forget me!" Ash said who was leaning against the door wearing a white shirt with a blue coat with some ornamental strings in it, his hair was styled in an undercut, as he wore blue paints with black shoes.
"Wow you look so good!" I said as I looked at him.
"Now I am sure he takes after me." Father said she he smiled towards him.
"OH really I thought I got this visuals from my mother." Ash said as he shrugged.
"This punk is getting more rebellious day by day!" Father said as he as he sighed.
I couldn't help but laugh at them fighting like kids.
"BTW Father did you receive any letter form mother?" I asked.
"Yeah I did and if I am not wrong that present must be from her right." Father asked.
"Yes it is!" I said as I gave butler mill the present to keep it in the carriage.
"I liked that present a lot, I wonder where mother got that gift from." Ash said as he entered the carriage followed by me and father.
"That must be from her hometown, Did you know that is the only place in our solar empire where it snows throughout the season." Father said as he smiled.
"Yes I heard about it but I thought it just a bluff." Ash said.
"It's true that place is really beautiful and whenever I look at Irene her black hair and sapphire eyes it remind me of Freya's hometown the dark sky with snowfall and the stars that shine blueish in colour." Father said as he closed his eyes thinking about mother's hometown.
"It must be a really beautiful place.I want to visit that place too!!" I said as I looked at father.
"Yeah me too!!" Ash said.
Both of us looked at father with puppy eyes,
"Okay Oaky we will all go on a vacation, but for that you must grow up well since it's a cold place taking you guys there now might me harmful for your age. So let's wait for a few more years." Father said as he smiled towards us.
"Okay!!" Both of us said happily.
"But Father what's mother's hometown name?" Ash asked.
"Its Amour." Father said.
"Amour such a fancy name." Ash said.
Amour sounds like I heard it somewhere before.

"Wow look outside!" Father said.
We did as he said at the decoration of the banquet hall looked magical, if this is so beautiful outside with all this lighting how much prettier it must be inside.
Thou I have already seen it but I didn't see it with the lights on.
Our carriage stopped at the entrance,
"So Dear kids remember to behave well." Father said as he handed out his hand to take us out of the carriage.
"Yes we will!!" Both me and Ash said.
After that we went towards the door that lead us to he banquet hall.
"Lord Raymond Zissel Winter with his eldest daughter Irene Bedisa Winter and eldest son Ashton Maven Winter are entering the hall!" The announcer said as the door opened and inside was a real fairy tail scene.
The hall lights in blue and white, with beautiful snow sculptured pieces and ribbons. It really gives out the winter feel.
"Wow, your suggestion worked out!" Ash said as he looked around.
"Hehe I told you now I just hope that her majesty would like it too." I said as I smiled.
"Yeah I hope she does ." Ash said.
"Lord Winter, You are here!" A voice said I turned around to see Count Smith with both Molly and Kelly beside him.
"We greet the count." Both me and Ash said as we bowed towards him.
"OH so the renowned winter siblings are here too, I heard a lot about you too from my eldest daughter Molly." He said as he smiled towards us. I can tell just by looking at him he is a really friendly man.
"We are glad to hear that. But I really believe contrary to us both lady smith's are more renowned just like the count." I said as I bowed.
