Chapter 41: Royal Brothers Part 1

After that Master left for the imperial palace, "It has been so long since I last meet both the prince I wonder how they are doing right now and ....I hope the empress is doing fine..." I talked to myself as I sat near mother who hasn't responded to any of our talk.
"Mother, everything will be fine right..." I said to her as I holded her hand gently and a tear rolled down my left eye.
"Mother please get well soon." I said in a low voice.
The princes must be fine too....I thought as the image of both the princes came in my mind.
Meanwhile in the palace,
Both the princes were in their study room waiting for their tutor aka Daniel.
"Brother Alan, did you hear about Daniel teaching lady winter." Alfered said as he looked at his older brother sitting next to him. "Yes I did." He said as he looked through his books.
"Hah I wonder how she is doing.....I am kinda worried about her..." Alfered said in a worried tone.
"But why?" Alan asked as he looked towards him as he rose on of his eyebrows.
"Isn't the reason simple, even you know it yet still you want me to say it myself." Alfered said as he pouted.
"....Just tell me...." Alan said as he looked at him.
"I am worried because of Daniel's behavior and teaching method, we are used to him but Lady winter it must her first time to meet such a sketchy person.....and furthermore..." Alfered said but stopped in between. As he looked at the crown prince face that looked emotionless, "Furthermore what?" Alan asked.
"Furthermore,....even thou he irritates people he is still very handsome and who knows Lady winter might get attracted to him...." Alfered said as his eyes widened and a sweat dropped down his forehead as he saw his brother's expression.
"Fall for him....I see..." Alan said as he broke his pencil in two parts, his face turned black from anger and right then he heard a knock in the door. Hearing the knock both the princes turned their head towards the door as they already knew who it was. "Well this must, what we call as bad timing." Alfered said as he towards the Door.
"My Dear princes your dear tutor Daniel is here to teach you!!" Daniel said as he tuned around like a dancing ballerina.
"Welcome." Alfered said as he smiled towards him but that smile wasn't a normal. And Daniel knew it better then anyone else that.
He looked at the crown prince who had a deadly aura around him, he gulped as a cold sweat run down his forehead.
"D...Did I do something wrong?" He asked as he came towards the Crown Prince.
"Umm, that depends on what you did on the winter villa?" Alfered said as he sat on his chair.
"Winter Villa? I just went their had chit chat with Lady Winter." Daniel said.
"Chit chat?" Alfered said as he looked at him.
"Yeah I was just there to teach her...thou it was a bit messy at the beginning but now she must be fine." Daniel said as he smiled brightly thinking of Irene's face when she interrogated him.
".....I Guess you have taken quite a liking to lady winter." Crown Prince said calmly as he looked at Daniel smiling so happily.
" Well maybe I did.....Lady Winter is sure interesting, I guess I going to have fun teaching her." He said as he chuckled a bit while thinking of that Sapphire eyed girl who tried to fool him.
Crown Prince hearing that stood up from his seat and looked at Daniel straight in eye thou he was just a 11 year old kid, he still had an itimadating aura which made people fear him.
And among that people Daniel was one of them.
"Your Highness...." He said as he bowed cuz he knew pissing of the crown prince would only bring early death to him. Alfered who was looking at them through the sidelines was now glaring at Daniel too as if he was offended from his words.
"Whats with the atmosphere?" Daniel said awkwardly. "You..." Crown prince said as he came towards him, "Yes your highness." Daniel said in fear. His cold and deadly gaze perceived through him.
"Tell me....How was she..." Crown prince Alan said with a serious expression on his face, hearing that both the prince Alfered and Daniel face went blank.
"How was she?? What does his highness mean by it?" Daniel asked in a confused tone.
"Brother, perhaps you said something wrong?" Alferd asked as he whispered in his brother's ears. Alan didn't reply to him instead he stood with a straight face,
"What I mean to say is that....After what happened to Lady Freya....How is she..." Crown Prince Alan asked as he looked at Daniel with his worried and concerned crimson eyes.
Daniel looked at the crown prince with shocked eyes, as it was his first time seeing him this worried about someone ( leaving his family i.e the emperor, empress and Alfered)
The cold and poker faced crown prince, who no one could even look eye to eye, was asking him about someone else problems and pain.
"Your Highness are you concerned about Lady winter or was it just my imagination?" He asked him as he pinched himself on his rich cheek.
"I am concerned about her and I am not in mood to ask one question again and again." Crown Prince said irritatingly as he glared at him.
Daniel stood there with his shocked expression for a second which was soon replaced by a small smile.
"Well Well, I only meet the Lady today that too for less then hour.....so I can't really tell if she was fine or not...thou it didn't seemed like she was crying..." Daniel said as he smiled towards the Crown Prince.
"If she wasn't crying, Does it mean she was fine?" Alfered asked as he looked at the crown prince.
Crown Prince didn't say anything instead he stood there lost in his thoughts, "I see...." He murmured in a low voice.
"I am not going to attend the class today." He said as he walked out of the study room.
"Huh! So suddenly? Why?" Daniel asked in utter confusion.
But crown prince didn't reply to any of his question and instead he left him there just like that, for others it might look harsh and might think of him as a arrogant and self centered brat but.....for Daniel and the the other servants present outside the doors this was normal. And rather then being afraid of the crown prince behavior and mood they would rather laugh at Daniel.
"Looks like you still don't understand brother. Do you?" Alfered said as he closed crown prince book.
"Huh, what makes the second prince think like that." Daniel asked as he tried denying the fact that he knew nothing about crown prince.
"Haha Are you seriously asking me that!!" Second prince said as he laughed and this laugh was a scarcastic laugh.
".....The fact that you can't read the royal family mind, Did you all ready forget it." The second prince Alfered scoffed, making Daniel speechless as he stood there like a statue.
"I don't feel like sitting here and studying all alone, I am skipping classes too. Thank you for your time." Alfered said as he walked towards the door, "And if you really want to live your life quietly don't you dare lay a finger on Lady Winter, since the whole empire knows how brutal the royal family can be." The sunshine like Second prince said in a cold voice.
"Yes your highness." Daniel said as he bowed his head, until second prince left the room.
"Well Well well....This seems really interesting." Daniel said as he grinned ear to ear. "The cold prince would show such a warm side of him and the gentle second prince could be this scary....Ha now I really want to mess with lady winter." He said as he went towards the crown prince notebook and the smile from his face faded.
The notebook was full of his name and that too with red ink, And anyone who saw that would be able to guess with what mindset the crown prince must have written it, "I guess I should just stay away from Lady winter for the time being....Or else...I might really becomes crown prince first ever victim." Daniel said as he closed the book and sighed.
Meanwhile with the crown prince,
I walked towards the Neverland Garden and sat there under a tree, the blue sky above me and the clouds passing by seems so peaceful.....but still my mind felt restless.
It must be weird but I am really worried about Lady Winter...I just hope what Daniel said is true...I really hope she isn't crying, just like the day we first met....I thought as the image of her crying and helpless look came in my mind.
*Sigh* Everytime I think of that day (he is referring to Ashton's birthday banquet)and her face my heart it aches.
Is this some kind of disease? But to think of it again everytime she is around me my heartbeat raises and my face gets warmer, even now when thinking of her....."my heart beat is racing.." I said as I placed a hand on my left side of the chest.
I really don't understand why? Should I go and consult a doctor but if I do so there will be rumors about a Royal being sick.....and what if it affects Lady Winter.
"AHHHHHH" I shouted in irritation. Why is my mind hooked up on Lady Winter only? I thought as I layed down on the green grass.
"Its irritating...." I murmured as I looked at the blue camellia beside me, which reminded me of Lady Winter's sapphire eyes. And my temperature rose up again, "....But for some reason I don't really hate this feeling.." I said as I smiled towards the camellia. "Instead of hating it I kind of like it...." I murmured as my crimson eyes twinkled with warmth and the wind fluttered through my white hair.
"Hah I might really go crazy at this rate.." I said as I closed my eyes and felt the soft wind blowing around me.
"Should I help you then?" A voice from behind the tree said.
"Alfered, Did you master the teleportation skill." I asked. "Well I guess I did." Alfered said as he smiled proudly and sat near me, looking at me with his sun like yellow colored eyes.
"I know..I know..You did a great job!" I said as I patted his head. "Really! Thank you for the compliment Brother!!" He said happily.
This boy everytime he does something good or learns something new, he would come for me and keep looking at me, unless I compliment him.. And he learnt all this from the winter siblings.
