"But what about you doing here?" I asked him as I tilted my head. "Talking with you!" He said as he smiled brightly towards me, he really resembles father both in looks and personality. I hope he doesn't gets his habits too, it is known wide and far how Father was in his younger days..... a player.
"Brother what are you thinking?" Alfered asked as he sat down beside me. "Nothing much but before that what about your class?" I asked him.
"Hehe...I left it." Alfered said as he scratched the back of his neck.
" And why did you do that?" I asked him as I looked at him.
"Umm...because I wanted to follow you!" He said as he grinned from ear to ear.
"Follow me?" I said in a confused tone. I know he like to follow me around but he never skipped his classes like this before.
"Are you really saying the truth? I asked him in a serious tone as I looked at him.

And furthermore.....I know brother Alan is worried about Lady Winter and, after what Daniel said you must be feeling more restless.... so I just thought that instead of sitting there and listening to a long lecture, that is no where near interesting, I would rather go and look for you." Alfered said as he played with his figures with a nervous look on his face.
He must be thinking that I would scold him for doing such childish things and rationally I should scold him but.....He did that because of me and he didn't really have any ill motive behind it so...
"Since it's your first time skipping classes I am letting you go for today.....but keep in mind, if you do something like this again, doesn't matter whether it's for me or anyone else I won't really let you get off the hook so easily." "Yes your behavior, attitude and personality have changed quite a lot during the past months, I mean can't you tell it yourself." Alfered said as he layed down on the green grass.
"Why how was I in the Past?" I said not able to understand what he meant because I never thought of it before and honestly people call me the Cold hearted Prince and it didn't really mattered to me....because I am the crown prince so I always taught of concealing my true emotions and always keeping a distance from people.
It may sound too much for a 11 year old kid but I agree with it since this world is full of greedy and green eyed people who would do anything to satisfy their need and their hunger of both money and power. And unluckily I meet some of them in the past thou now it a mere memory which is already blurry, so no use of recalling them.
"Brother Do you really not notice?" Alfered said as he rose up and looked at me with a serious expression on his face, "Nope....since I always treat the everyone the same...but yeah if they are in my blacklist then it's a different case." I said as I shrugged.

"But...still no matter how busy or High my rank was....You are my family I should have given you my time..." I said as the guilty feelings spread from my head till toe.
"Brother, please don't think like that because I always admired you for who you are. As a prince I respected you and as a brother I felt proud of you.... But Don't get me wrong that doesn't mean that I want to be like you, instead it's more like I want to follow your footsteps and grown under your guidance." Alfered said as he looked towards me.
His words may sound clingy but it still bought a on my face. And for some reason it felt that something inside me melted, "Then you should follow me properly." I said as I patted his head.
"Yes I will." He said as he smiled like a kid who got his favorite candy.
"Brother I don't know if you have noticed it or not but this changes happened in you after you met Lady winter." Alfered said as he looked at the sky.
"Huh really?" I said as I looked at him, cuz I knew I felt different around her but to think that this changes happened beacuse of her influence in me sounds very unbelievable.
"Yes ever since the day you saw her at the banquet, you who never looked at other people even came forward to help her. That day I was very surprised and to be honest I was a bit jealous of Lady winter since she was the first person you ever looked for....but after spending so much time with her I can understand why you felt that way. She is one of a kind a Beauty with brains, she is sharp yet kind and furthermore she cares about her loved ones and more then anything she just wants them to be safe and happy." Alfered said as he smiled.
"I agree with your words...she is too precious." I said as I closed my eyes and her face flashed in my inward eye. "...The way she talks, the warm feeling she gives out and that spring like smile of hers which could bloom thousands of flowers even in a barren land. Everything about her feels so mystical, that it sometimes even makes me wonder if she is real or not." I said as the the corner of my lips curved a bit. My heart beat rose up again.
"Well she is real and she always in our reach." Alfered said as he looked at me. "Yes I know that and for some unknown reason I feel very glad that she does." I said as I smiled.
"Yeah and I hope that the feelings are mutual!" Alfered said as he stretched his arms and legs.
"Yeah I hope so too and I really wish the she is doing fine now..." I said as I looked at the blue camellia.
"Hmm, she must indeed having a hard time, I heard from other people that she has confined herself within the winter villa, looking after the household management and her mother....hah I don't even want to imagine how she must be feeling right now.....Every moment looking at her mother who is in deep slumber....it creeps me out..." Alfered said as he hugged himself.
"Alfered...." I said as I looked at him because I knew what was bothering him, "Brother....Will mother....end up..like that too..." He asked he with a fearful expression on his face.
"Alfered....Everything will be fine." I said with a reassuring smile even thou deep down I already knew the truth...but I can't tell that..
"I hope so..." Alfered said as he let out a small smile on his face while looking at me. Seeing him like this breaks my heart, even I want to cry out and whine but I can't do that...I must be strong.
"Leave all this since we have free time now....how about we go and visit Mother, she must be bored all alone in her room." I said trying to change the topic.
"Yes let's do that!" Alfered said happily as he jumped into the air.
"You look very happy right now." I said as I chuckled. "I love mother so much that I always want to stay near her but my schedule is too busy~" He said as he sighed.
"Well we can't help that. Can we?" I said as I walked towards Mother's chamber.
"Hmm, I guess no." He said with a gloomy face.
"But wait what will you say to Mother once she asks about our classes." I asked him. He hearing that stopped in his tracks, "A..About that...I don't know..." He said as he smiled sheepishly.
"You know How mother is right~" I said as I smiled towards him. "Yes...I know.." He said as he looked downwards.
No matter how much gentle and kind mother is, she is strict when it comes to education since mother believes education will never leave a person and will always be there somewhere in my mind to help us out during our bad days.
"Well well, Don't worry so much and consider yourself as lucky today~" I said as I ruffled his hair.
"Huh what does that mean?" Alfered asked me.
"Well that means I will tell Mother that it was my idea to bring you along. After hearing that she won't scold you and even if she does, both of us can share it." I said as laughed.
" Well Thats a good idea too!" Alfered said as he smiled towards me.
Without even realizing we already reach mother's chamber, the guards in the door greeted us and opened the door for us.
And as the door opened, a minty aroma welcomed us, and with long sliver like hair, a fair and pale face with dried lips, and a thin body mother sat on her bed looking towards the window.
"Mother!!" Both of us said excitedly as we went towards her. Hearing our voices, mother turned her face towards us, with a warm and gentle smile she welcomed us with open arms.
"My dear Children..." She said as she embraced us in a warm hug.
