I didn't even realize when I dozed off but that must have been a good thing, since when I woke up only a hour had passed and the sky was all clear and a bit of sunrays were falling too.
"Today must be a lucky day." I thought as I stood up from my bed and went towards the wash room, I washed my face and took a look at myself in the mirror.
"Well I look the same always, so there is nothing to see." I said to myself and went out of my room.
"Your Highness, How was your nap?" Ethan who was already standing beside my door, asked as he smiled towards me.
I carefully looked at his face, just a while ago he looked upset for some reason but now he seems to be fine. Well, he must be going to puberty¿ I thought as I smiled.
"Your Highness, why are you smiling like that? That too all of a sudden, it's creepy!!" He said as he took a few steps backward.So he is even back to his lame jokes."Hah Good thing....I was worried for no reason..." I said as I let out a deep breath.
"Worried for no reason?" He said as he tilted his head and his face clearly said *What are you talking about*
"Hah nothing....I just thought that it might ran forever but luckily it stopped and even the sun came out." I said as I looked at the clear sky.
"I see but why does...His Highness look so excited?" Ethan asked with a smirk in his face.
"Th..Thats because the weather makes me happy and excited." I said as I tried my best to not Sutter.
"OH, The weather and here I thought it's the season that makes you so happy~" Ethan said with the *I know* smrik on his face.

I clearly understood what he meant, which literally made my face hot and before I turned into a red tomato, I started moving towards the carriage.
"Your Highness! Don't walk so fast." He said as he followed me. "I am not....its you who is slow!" I said without looking back.
"Hah Seriously!!!" He said as he started to walk faster and in a second, he was able to pass throughme."Did you forget it was because of my speed, that the emperor appointed me as your personal bodyguard~" He said as he stood proudly infront of me.
"Well....Actually I did forget it. Thanks for reminding me again." I said as I smiled towards him. Hearing this, his whole face turned blue and he stood there speechless.
"Seriously! Can I ever win against you?" He said as he looked at me with his black eyes and a small smile.
"Well that's a tough, question? but still my answer is no." I said as I looked at the hallways.
"Haha why am did I even ask that..." He said as he sighed. I giggled a bit as I saw his irritated face.I know I shouldn't talk with people in such a manner but sometimes even I want to joke around like a normal person...which I could never do as the crown prince.
Will people think I am weird or looking for praise, if I tell them my opinion on my life.
I bet they will.....so it would be better to act as a prefect prince then being called as a weirdo...right...
"Hah....Hurry up we need to leave for Winter residence." I said to Ethan who was all sulky now.
"Yes Your Highness!" He said with a straight face.
Which made me laugh even more.
"Why are talking so stiffly?" I asked him with a straight face.
"Because for some people I am just a joke! So I am trying to be serious!" He said with a straight face.
Hearing that I just laughed straight at his face. Which made him feel kind of disappointment but soon after he joined me too, and just like that both of us joked around, until we reached the carriage.
In the way to Winter Residence,
Both of us stayed quiet as we enjoyed the scenery outside and there was something that caught my eyes.
"Ethan look it's a rainbow!" I said with excitement as I pointed towards the seven colored lines in the sky.
"OH it have must have appeared beacuse of the fusion of sunlight and water." Ethan said as he looked outside.
"Yeah but still it's so pretty and cool." I said happily.
Ethan didn't reply but he kept looking at me for a second and smiled,
"Your Highness, Pardon me to say this but nowadays you look quite lively." Ethan said as he smiled towards me.
"Huh? D..Do..I?" I said as I scratched the back of my neck.
"Yes, well I mean, It's wasn't long ago, when you pointed your wooden sword towards my neck with a threatening aura around you. And just look at us now, no actually look at you know. You are all smiling and happy-go-lucky. Isn't that more cool?" Ethan said as he looked at me.
"Hey don't tell me....are you still holding grudge against me just because of that day." ( A/N, He is referring to the day he pointed his sword towards Ethan) I said as I looked at him with a poker face.
"No I am NOT!!" He said as he panicked.
"Hey! I was joking around!" I said as I laughed at his panicked face. Hearing that he blinked twice,
".....Seriously even your joining tendency has increased a lot...someday it might even give me a heat attack." Ethan said as he wiped off the sweat from his forehead.
"Its better if I keep my mouth shut." Ethan said as he worn touched his eyepatch and looked at the other side.
He is back to his sluky mode, maybe I should leave him for today or else he might really become angry.
But still the rainbow is very pretty I hope Lady winter could see it too or maybe she is watching it right now. I thought as I smiled.
After some time which felt like hours to me, we finally reached the winter residence.
I know it's not a good thing to come without giving a prior notice but.....still I hope they don't mind.
or if they do, I can just apologize right?
I went out of the carriage and for some reason the winter residence looked quite gloomy and unlike other days, today there wasn't even a single servant outside the house.
"Wow, what happened here? Not even a single soul is present here!!" Ethan said as he examined the place.
"...Maybe they all went inside beacsue of the rainwater.." I said as I pointed at the water droplets falling from the roof of the villa.
"Hmm, Maybe...but still stay behind me." He said as he protectively stood before me and walked towards the entrance with light footsteps.
He touched the door to knock it, but the door was already open. "Well this seems suspicious." Ethan said as he opened the door slowly.
Both of us could hear people mumbling and some were even weeping.
For some reason I don't have a good feeling about this. I thought in my mind, as I gulped.
"Ethan look and tell me what you see inside." I ordered him. "Yes your highness!" He said as he peaked through the small opening of the Door.
"Your Highness, there are only maid's and servants in there some are talking, some are crying....Hmm but I don't see any winter family members ..."Ethan said as he closed the door and faced me.
"The situation looks normal...let's head inside!" I said as I tried to pass through him.
"Pardon me! Your Highness. The situation may not look dangerous but we are still unsure of why they are all gathered there and furthermore I didn't see anyone from winter family in there." Ethan said as he looked at me.
"So, what do you want me to do?" I said as I looked at him with a serious face.
"I hope that....you will return back and act like nothing happened here." Ethan said as he bowed down.
Return back?? Is he kidding me!! Something is definitely wrong...That look on his face....it makes me restless...If I keep staying here, I might even lose my mind and furthermore Lady Winter.....I am worried for her...
"Move!" I said as I looked downward. "But your highnes!...."
"No more But! Just move or else I might really pull out a real sword towards you." I said as I looked at his eyes with a cold look on my face.

My sudden burst in the hall made everyone attention turn towards me. And as Ethan said every servant were gathered here and some of them were even crying, whereas some had a concerned and worried look on their faces.
"We greet the rising sun of the empire his highness the crown prince." All of them said as they bowed towards me.
"Leave the greetings aside and tell me what's going on here." I said as I panicked.
But none of them answered my question instead they all kept looking at each other and avoided eye contact with me.
I looked through the crowd and finally my eyes meet with Hana. Lady Winter always talked about her, and I believe even if no one replies to me, she definitely will.
So, with that confidence and hope in my heart, I walked towards her. "You are Hana, right!" I asked her. "Ye...Yes its me your highness...But h..How do you know that?" She asked me with a surprised look on her face.
"I know you, thanks to Lady winter. She mentioned you a lot in our talk." I said as I looked at her."S..She did.." Hana said as a tear rolled down her eye.
"Yes...She did but why are you crying? And why are you all gathered here?" I asked her as I tired to calm her down.
She looked at me with her teary eyes,"That..That.." She said hesitately. And her hesitation made me more restless.
So I grabbed her hands and asked her in a threatening way.
"If you don't tell what happened here! I swear you are gonna regret it!" I said angrily.
Hana started shaking and tears started to flow none stop from her eyes.
And that made me even more shocked and embarrassed, "I...I am really sorry... I didn't mean to scare you. I am just worried about Lady winter and all of your expression and actions are making me even more anxious. So can you guys please tell me what's happening here." I asked then in one single breath.
"Your Highness...We aren't keeping quite because we want too..." The head maid said from behind as other two maid's tried to clam down Hana.
"Huh what's are you saying?" I asked her. " What I am trying to say is that we know, about the bonding between you and Lady winter and we also know how much you adore her...and.." She was about to say something in between buy I stopped her beacsue her words of direction was scaring me.
I know it can't be as I am thinking it is but still I asked her.
"Are you trying to tell that...all of you are gathered around here for her....." I asked her.
"You are right, Your Highness." She said as she bowed towards me. Hearing those words made me feel as if my heart got git hit by something hard.
