It's around 10 of the morning and there are lots of things going around in the household right now.
As the news of Violet moving into our house for a month was given everyone has started to work harder to make sure everything is perfect.
Cuz as much as it's related to Violet welcoming, and making her feel at home. It's also related to the name of the winter family. Which is why...we can't take any risks.
And right now I along with my father are doing a house tour and checking the decoration items and the daily household items.
"Father, should we fix this or just buy a new one?" I said as I showed him the light golden window curtains hanging high in the windows.
"Hmm, they look good but it's winter so using light colours would be a bad idea...maybe we should just buy a new one and in a bright colour tone," Father said as he moved forward.
"Okay then-new curtains and in bright colours," I murmured as I write them down in my notebook.
"Father what colour do you think would be suitable for the curtains?" I asked him since his judgement matters the most.
"Maybe red, purple or green would be good too," Father said and I noted them all down.
"Okay, I noted all of them down!" I said as closed the book.
"Good and the inspection is done too now all that is left is to decorate Lady Carot room...which you must do yourself," Father said as he patted my head.
"Huh!!! By myself? Why? No what if I mess up." I said as I looked at him with a stunned expression.
"I believe that you won't mess anything up and lady carot is around your age so I believe you would be able to understand her preferences better than me," Father said as he smiled at me.
"But I don't know what she likes and what she doesn't..." I said as I looked at father.
Furthermore, we are of the same age, so I have no idea of her preferences...But I can't say that to him.
"No worries you can just talk with her," Father said as he wore his black long
coat.
"Talk with her...Does that mean I can go and visit her?" I said as my face lighted up in the name of going outside the house.
Father chuckled at my reaction and lift me in his arms, "Of course you can, but make sure to take care of yourself." Father said as he kissed my forehead.
"Yes, I will take of myself!" I said as I smiled happily at him.
After that Father had to leave for some work and I went back to my room. On my way, I peaked at Ash room,
originally I wanted to ask if he would like to accompany me but after I saw him studying I just thought. Nah I should let him study peacefully.
The royal academy exam is 2 years away from now, so I can understand how desperate he must be.
The royal academy is a golden chance for Him, a golden key that could give stability to his soul and his body.
"MY lady, we are done." The maids said as they moved away and I took a look a look at myself in the mirror.
I was wearing a red frock coat with black buttons in it, long black shocks along with black Chelsea boots. My hair was let open with a scarf around her neck.
"Good work everyone!" I said to the maids present in my room as I smiled towards them.
"We were pleased to serve you, my lady." All if they said as they bowed toward me. Their voices had the warmth and loyalty that make some trust them more and more.
"Now Miss, please have this before you go out. It will keep you warm." Hana said as she brought a white cup of hot chocolate towards me.
"It's Hot chocolate right!" I said as I sat down on the sofa beside my dressing table.
"It surely is. But how did my lady know about it?" Hana asked as she gave me the warm cup.
"It's all because of the smell~~ It's so delicious!" I said as I smelled the bot chocolate and took a sip of it.
"I see, my lady has a sharp nose," Hana said jokingly.
"Well, you can say that...umm, Hana if you don't have any other work. would you like to accompany me to Lady Carot's house?" I said as I kept the cup on the table.
"I...I will be glad to accompany the lady." Hana said with a smile on her face.
"Sweet!! But before that, you shod wear something warmer. It's really cold outside." I said as I pointed towards her.
"My Lady there is no need to do such things and it's not that cold," Hana said.
She is probably saying this cuz she doesn't want me to wait.
"No worries and anyway I want to have cookies with this hot chocolate, so it will take me some time to finish this. And I believe till then you can get changed." I said as I smiled towards her.
"As you wish my lady," Hana said with a warm smile as she exited the room. And by that time another maid bought me some cookies.
"Wow, it's a ginger cookies perfect for winter," I said as I munched down the cookies with a sip of hot chocolate. Wow!! So Good!!
This reminds me I am living my second life right now but I never tasted alcohol before, I saw people having chicken and alcohol and I always wanted to try it but I never got the chance to.
Ugh! What thought is running from my mind now. This body is still of an 8-year-old kid. It's a sin to have these thoughts. I said to myself as I shook my head.
"Miss what are you thinking?" Hana said as she looked at me.
"Nothing but you look so pretty!" I said as I grinned.
And I am not talking in the air like she is literally so pretty. She is like a countryside beauty with a caring and understanding personality.

Like at her age I was dealing with depression and she is already earning. She is indeed cool.
"Haha my lady, you truly surprise me. In the whole empire, you might be the only one who is this much shocked to know about this. Even though most of the commoners live like this only." Hana said as he tilted her head.
"Huh...Like like this only.." I said as I looked at her.
"Yes cuz we don't have the right to education or maybe we should say we can't afford it. So most of the girls around my age are working around. The same goes for boys though they can even become knights." Hana said as she looked outside.
"I had no idea about this.....Did I make you uncomfortable...." I said as I looked at Hana face.
"No...and I know my lady won't ask such things just to mock me." Hana said as she smiled at me.
"Thanks for having fate in me," I said as I held her hands and smiled at her.
At the carot residence,
"Finally we are here!" I said as I stretched my arms before coming out of the carriage.
"Looks like Miss carot has been waiting for my lady," Hana said as he looked outside.
Hana was right Violet along with some other servants was waiting outside.....but I doubt if it's for me Because I didn't tell anyone about me visiting her so how?
I went outside the carriage, and violet welcomed me with a warm smile on her face,
"Lady winter welcome!" She said as she walked towards me.
"Yes, thanks for the welcoming," I said as I politely smiled at her.
"But how did last carot find about my visit, As far as I know, I didn't inform you did I?" I asked as I rose one of my eyebrows.
"That's true but the lord had already planned all this, so we were informed yesterday only about your appearance," Violet said as she held my hands.
"Then shall we go inside!" Violet said.
"Yes, sure," I said and both of us went inside the villa hand in hand.
It's my second time coming here and this place is still as beautiful as the first day. I wonder if the arrangements in the winter villa will satisfy her or not....
