The temperature is pretty low today but that's not the problem, the problem is that both the princes look quite down today, I can understand if it was just the crown prince but even the second prince looks energyless today.
No wonder we were called here to lift their mood but I don't know what to do?
"Sister, what's wrong with them?" Ash asked in a low voice. "Beats me..." I said as I sighed.
"Your highnesses, would you like to take a stroll in the garden?" I asked them as I went near them.
"No..." Both of them said in sync.
"Then how about playing some game?" I asked again with a smile on my face.
"No..." They denied it again.
"Then what would you like to do?" I asked them patiently.
"We don't know..." They said as they sighed.
Seriously what's with them, they aren't even looking at me, "Your Highness then can you at least look at me..." I said in a low voice hoping that they would find me pitiful.
"Why?" They said as they looked at me, and their eyes widened.
"....Umm, I wanted to ask if you like my new haircut..." I said as I touched my hair.
"Wow,.it's so cool!" The second prince said as he stood up from his seat.
"Lady Winter you look like a tough knight right now." The second prince added as he looked at me.
"That's amusing," I said as I giggled. "Your Highness how about your opinion?" I asked the crown prince who wasn't even blinking.
"It's very pretty, it suits you." The crown prince said with a dreamy smile.
A smile which could melt anyone's heart."I glad to know that his highnesses like it but may I know why are so sad today?" I asked them hoping that they would tell me something but alas they were back to being sad again.
"...If you won't talk, then there is no way we will be able to help you out..." Ash said as he looked at the second prince who was looking at the ground.
"We know that but it's not something both of you help with..." The crown prince said as he patted Ash's head.
"Furthermore, it not that we are sad it's just that we are angry....very angry but we can't do anything about it which is why, we can just swallow our frustration.....which makes us feel helpless and pathetic..." The second prince said as he snickered.
"We are the Princes but we are still no less than a common subject dancing in others hands." The crown prince said as he clenched his fists.
Ash and I exchanged glances as we gulped because right now the princes might not have realised it but their aura is too intimidating, for normal people like us it's too much of a threatening..."Sister...I am having trouble breathing..." Ash said as he held my hand.
"Me too...." I said as I looked at the Princes.
I must stop them or else both of us might die from suffocation, but they are so angry right now, what if they get more provoked this way,
But if this continues....they will regret it later...
"Y...Your highness....please control yourself..." I said as I held their hands.
They looked at me with confusion, "We...we are having....trouble in breathing...please control yourself..." I said as I tightened my grip on their wrist, but my legs gave out so I just fell to the ground.
"Lady Winter!!" Both of them shouted as they kneeled and held my hand. Luckily both of them calmed down so the air was back to normal.
"Lady winter are you okay?" The second prince asked with a concerned look on his face.
"Please forgive us....we shouldn't have lost control over ourselves..." Crown prince said as he bit his lower lips.
I should tell them it's alright but my voice isn't coming out, I was too scared right now...that I lost my voice...Ahhhh!!! What do I do??
"Why aren't you saying anything?" The crown prince asked as he looked at me with worried eyes.
"Not only her Ashton isn't speaking too..." The second prince said in a panicked voice.
I looked at Ash and he was confused too, is this a side effect.
"Looks like both the princes scared the winter siblings." Daniel ( Their teacher, in case you have forgotten him.) said as he came from behind.
"Huh, Daniel!" Both the princes said as he looked at him.
"Greeting to the royal princes...if you don't mind should I help you a bit?" Daniel said with a friendly smile.
"....Yes please..." Crown Prince said as he let off my hand.
"Then it may hurt a bit...but trust you will be okay soon..." Saying that Daniel pinched a nerve on my neck and I felt a jolt through my body.
"Ahhh!!" I shouted as I pushed Daniel aside.
"....ouch! That hurts but looks like your voice is back.." Daniel said as he stood up and went towards Ash.
And he did the same thing as he did to me, But unlike me, Ash didn't shout he just endured the pain, "My voice is back too." Ash said as he touched his throat.
"Thank you, we owe you one." The second prince to Daniel who kept looking at us with a smile on his face.
"Hope you remember what you said today and please be more careful...if you care about the ones around you." Daniel said in a serious tone as he glared at both the princes.
"Yes, we will...." The crown prince said as he looked downwards.
"Then I shall take my leave...." Daniel said as he looked at me once and then exited the room.
After he left the atmosphere got more awkward, Ash and I were still sitting on the ground and both the princes were not looking at us at all.
"Will... you please help us get up..." I said in a low voice as I looked at the Princes.
The princes didn't say anything, instead, they quietly held our hand and helped us stand up.
"Thank you...." Both of us said as we looked at the two princes who were avoiding eye contact.
Their behaviour is making me anxious, "Did...we do something wrong..." I asked them as politely as possible.
"No." Both of them replied coldly.
"I see then.....why are you so angry?" I said as I bit my lower lip.
"It's nothing concerned with lady winter...." The crown prince said as he looked the other way.
Nothing concerned with me...I was so happy to meet them today but they were in a bad mood and almost caused me to lose my voice and they are telling me that it's nothing....like really!!

"Please rest well..." I said as I exited the room with Ash and kept walking until we reached an empty corridor, "Sister wait!!" Ash said as he held my hand and stopped me right there.
"You are crying..." Ash said softly as he held my face and looked at me with concerned eyes.
"I...I am..." I wasn't able to deny him...I didn't have any excuses left.
"Do you want to go back home..." Ash asked as he gently stroked my hair.
"Yes....please take me home.." I said as I clenched my fists trying my best to stop my tears.
"Okay, we shall go home now," Ash said as he held my hand and took me towards the carriage.
"Sister go inside." He said as the driver opened the door. I didn't say anything and just went inside.
I looked at Ash from the corner of my eye, he looked angry and was glaring at the palace.
He must be upset too, and right now he must be in the mood of beating up the princes, I should tell him not to think like that but I am tired today so it would be better if I just keep my mouth and eyes shut for today.
I thought as I closed my eyes and only opened them when we reached the winter villa, violet was looking for me but I told her that I want to rest and just like that I went to my bed without any second thought and just slept like a dead person until,
Both the princes suddenly showed up at my house.
