Chapter 61: Haircut

Next Day,
Ash, Violet and I gathered in my room to talk, basically I wanted Ash to befriend Violet but somehow we ended talking about my hair and how I want to cut them short....so violet came forward to help me out and right now she is standing behind me with siccors in her hands.
"Violet are you sure, this is okay," I said nervously.
"Yes, it's really fine so just stay still," Violet said as she moved her hands around my hair.
"Are both of you sure about this?" Ash who is sitting on the sofa asked.
"Well, maybe I will think once more," I said as I tried to stand up from my seat.
"No don't stand or else..." Violet wasn't able to complete her sentence and I felt a sudden throb in my head and with a thud, the scissors fell to the ground along with my hair.
"I told you not to stand...." Violet said as she picked up the scissors.
There was dead silence in my room, and the three of us kept looking at my hair on the ground until Hana entered the room,
And "Ahhhhh Miss your hair!!" She screamed.
"Hehe, Hana..." I said as I looked at her with a pale complexion.
"Miss I told you not to cut your hair but look what you did and....just what type of cut is this your hair is uneven," Hana said as she turned me around so that I can face the mirror.
My hair was indeed uneven but it's not as bad as Hana said, by small touch up it can turn into an Asymmetrical haircut in medium length.
Back in my past life, this haircut was very popular but I never got to try it. Hmm, should I cut it or should I leave it?
"Hana gives me the scissors," I said as I forwarded m hands.
"I won't your hair is already a mess, don't think of playing with it again," Hana said in an angry voice.
"Hana I won't mess up anymore, so just give me the scissors or else I will just leave the room like this," I said as I sat down on my seat.
"My lady, why are being so persistent!" Hana said as she sighed.
"Because I know what I am doing," I said as I forwarded my hands again.

"Hana I am losing my patience," I said as I moved looked at my face in the mirror.
"Okay fine...but if I think it's too much I will just stop you in between. And you won't have any say in it." Hana said as she placed the scissors on the desk.
"Okay, but I am sure you won't get the chance to stop me, "I said as I picked up the scissors and started to cut the end making sure they are even on their sides.
" Done," I said as I kept the scissors down.
"How is it? Pretty right!" I said as I turned around to look at their faces.
Silenced filled the room again.
"Sister...where did you learn that haircut from?" Ash asked as he rose from his seat.
"This...I just thought it will look good on me.." I said as I laughed awkwardly.
"Why? Is it weird? Should I cut them?" I said as I was about to pick up the scissors.
"No! My lady you look very pretty so please don't cut your hair anymore." Hana said as she took the scissors from my desk.
"And I am confiscating this," Hana said as she exited the room along with the scissors. "Hah, I thought I was going to be scolded today..." Violet said as she put one of her hands on her chest where the heart is located.
"You should have thought about that before cutting her hair down," Ash said as he looked at violet with daggers in his eyes.
"I know and I am really ashamed about it...Irene, please forgive me..." Violet said as she came towards me and held my hand gently.
"Violet....no need to say sorry...after all it's was all too sudden and...anyway it turned out to be good," I said as I smiled.
"Yes, indeed it did," Violet said as he touched my hair and giggled.
"But aren't you forgetting something..." Ash said as he looked at me.
And then it crossed my mind, "Right, we need to visit the palace today!" I said as I let go of violet's hand.
"The palace??" Violet asked in confusion.
"OH you may not know but, I received a letter from the royal family yesterday and they want me and Ash to visit them soon." I said as I looked a violet who didn't had any expression on her face.
"I see then are you leaving now?" Violet asked as she tucked her hair behind her ear.
"Yes, since Ash is free today." I said as I put on a little perfume behind my ears.
"Ohh...then safe journey." Violet said as she smiled at us and slowly exited my room.
"Sister shall we leave too." Ash asked as he looked at me.
"Yes sure! Let's go." I said as I ruffled Ash hair.
"My hair I need to fix it again." Ash said as he looked a me.
"Thats what you get for glaring at violet." I siad as I smiled at him.
"Seriously for her you are now even fighting against me." Ash said in a irritated voice.
"Ash , I was just kidding. Why are you being so sensitive?" I asked as I held his hand.
"....Am I being sensitive....I don't know...I just don't know anything....hah Sister...can I hug you.." Ash asked as he came near me.
"You don't need permission to hug me." I said with a smile as I opened my arms.
"I know but I don't want to so anything without your consent." Ash said as he hugged me.
"You are still a baby aren't you.." I said as I gently stroked his hair.
"Yes, I am a baby, so look after me.....and only me." Ash said as his tightened.
"....Don't tell me are you irritated beacuse...you are jealous of me being close to violet." I said as I looked at his face.

"Relly then can you tell me...why are your ears so red?" I said in a teasing manner.
"Thats because you suddenly mentioned about being Jealous and all so I was just a bit flustered." Ash said as he broke the hug.
"I see, but ash are your hands okay." I said as I held his hand which had many blisters and cuts in it.
"....This only looks like scary...its not painful at all....and I am already pretty used to it." Assh said as he smiled at me.
"I know to be knight you must go through this....but I would really appreciate the fact if you stop hiding your wounds from me. I am your sister and I am worried about you." I said as I touched his forhead which had a bump.
"Ouch!! how did you know?" Ash asked as he looked at me.
"Because I am your sister and I know you, now let's go." I said as I held his hand and we moved towards the carriage.
"Yes indeed because you are my sister." Ash said in low voice with smile on his face.
On the carriage,
"Sister, Don't you think....Lady Carot wanted to come along too." Ash said as he looked at me.
"I know she wanted to....but still I ignored it..." I said as I shrugged.
"Why is that so? You always treat her so well so why ignore her today? You know she looked kind of disappointed."Ash said as he stretched hsi arms.
"Hmm, Did she? I didn't notice and even if I did, I would still not bring early along. And it's a order for the royal family so we can't just bring anyone." I said as I sighed.
"Well if you said this to her, I bet she would have been felt miserable." Ash said as looked at me.
"I know that's why I tried my best to avoid that topic." I said as I looked outside the window.
"For once I thought you were being strict but you are just being considered." Ash said with a disappointing look on his face.
"Hah, I wonder where did you learn to become so scarcastic?" I said as I smiled at him.
