"Irene looks this is so pretty!" Violet said as she picked one of the pink gemstone earnings.
"Yes indeed it is, and here look at this it matches with your eye colour," I said as I shows her an emerald ring in a form of a flower.
"Yes, it's really cute!" Violet said as she looked at the ring.
"Will it be small for me? Let me ask the shopkeeper." Violet said as she went towards the shopkeeper.
"Okay!" I said as I looked at her.
It has been almost half an hour since we came here and since then we have been shopping around.
And as I thought her taste in everything is quite simple. Is it a characteristic of every main character?
Well, it doesn't matter since we are friends now, all I want her is to be happy at least for now since the upcoming days are quite painful.
"Irene see, they had one of my sizes," Violet said as she came towards me with the ring in her hand.
"That's nice then Violet how about we have some food, you know the street food here is the best!" I said as I paid the shopkeeper.
"Then let's have some, I was getting hungry anyway," Violet said in a cheerful tone.
"Well then is there something particular in your mind that you would like to have?" I asked her as we went towards the food stalls.
"Hmm, there is nothing particularly but right now I am craving for something spicy," Violet said as she scratched the back of her neck.
"Something spicy...the whether chilly now even I want to have something spicy~," I said as I looked around hoping to find something good to eat.
"There it is! Let's go!" I said as I held her hand and walked towards the small stall located beside the road.
"What is this? What are we going to have?" Violet asked as she looked around the place,
"It's a small food cart so we have to eat while standing...I hope you won't mind that." I said as I gave her a glass of water.
"No It's fine and this place looks tidy so I don't have any problem," Violet said as she smiled at me.
"Okay, then I will place the order. Excuse me!" I said as I called for the worker there.
"Yes, your order please." The waiter asked.
"Well I would like to have this and this along with this," I said as I pointed at the items given in the menu.
"Okay then please wait for a while." The waiter said as he went inside to make our order.
"Irene, what do you order?" Violet asked as she took the menu in her hand, she looked at them with a confused face.
"I have never seen food items like this before....are they edible?" Violet asked as she whispered the last part in my ears.
And it kind of made me feel like laughing, but it is common since a noble would never have such food in his or her life.
"Violet don't worry and trust me, they are going to be very delicious I bet you will enjoy them too," I said as I told her to sit down patiently.
" Well if you say so then...I will try.." Violet said and right then the water came along with our food.
"Please enjoy." He said as he left the food items in front of us.
"Her they are the most famous dish of this market the momos," I said as I divided the food between me and her.
"Momos I never heard of it before," Violet said in a daze.
"Don't worry about that and just have it," I said as I dipped one of the momos in the sauce and gave it to her.
"Now eat it up!" I said as I looked at her.
"Okay..." She said as she took a huge of the momos.
"How is it?" I asked her as I had one for myself.
"..It's odd....but it's good..." Violet said as she are another one.
"Well Does it mean you like it?" I asked her as I took her plate away.
"That's mine!!" Violet said as she tried to take the plate back.
"First tell me if you liked it or not~," I said as I grinned.
"I did! okay, now return me my plate." Violet said as she pouted.
"Haha, okay okay don't pout....look here is your plate," I said as I returned her plate.
"Thanks..." Violet said in a low voice.
"Hmm, for returning your plate," I said jokingly.
"Yes, thanks for returning my plate and thanks for bringing me here today...I don't know if you will believe it or not but.....I never had this much fun before. I thought the life of a noble is just studying like a proper lady, attending a tea party and all....but thanks to you, I saw a new side of this life..." Violet said as she looked at her plate.
"Hehe, well if you want we can keep coming here like this, doing what makes you happy is the best. So, Violet just do what you want to." I said as I held her hand.
"Irene you...*Sniff* *Sniff*," Violet said as tears fell down on her palms.
" Violet are you crying?? What's wrong? Are you hurt?" I asked as I panicked.
"No I am not crying but....the sauce is too spicy!!" Violet said as she looked at me, her lips had turned red along with her ears and cheeks.
"I am so sorry, I didn't the sauce would be so spicy for you....here have this," I said as I handed her a glass of water.
"It's fine...I really enjoyed it, maybe because I haven't eaten something this spicy for a while that my body wasn't able to handle it." Violet said as she drank the whole glass of water.
"Maybe then leave this sauce and have this one instead it's a little sweet one," I said as I passed the other sauce.
"Okay....umm, this one taste good," Violet said as she quietly ate her food.
After that, we moved around for some time playing some local games and having some candies. And then we returned to the mansion.
Luckily, no one knew about our absence.
"Irene, thanks for the clothes," Violet said as she returned me the clothes she wore while going out.
"No worries," I said as I took them and was about to leave the room when she suddenly held my hand.
"Irene....can you accept this.." She said in a nervous voice as he handed me a bracelet with a half blue butterfly in it.
"This....you bought this for me..." I said as I looked at the bracelet.
"Yes...I don't really know what you like....but I thought this was very pretty and would suit you so...I thought of gifting you this....forget it if you don't like it..." She said in a panicked voice.
"No, I like it...I really do, It's very pretty." I said as I
smiled at her.
"Hehe really!" Violet said as she held my hands.
"Yes I do but why is it half?" I asked in confusion.
"That's because....the other half is here," Violet said as she pulled out another bracelet which was exactly like the one she gave me just the butterfly was green in colour.
"Wow! Is this some kind of charm?" I said as I giggled.
"Well you can call it a charm...but it's not exactly a charm!" Violet said cheerfully.
"Huh? It's like a charm but it's not a charm? Then what is it?" I asked as I looked at her.
"Well, it's a friendship bracelet and Irene you are my charm," Violet said as she put the bracelet in my hand.
I just stood there frozen, I didn't know how I should respond....to call me her friend and her charm....hah...why is she is pure and innocent.
The more she acts like this, the more I want to protect her.
"Irene...did you not like what I said..." Violet said in a low voice.
"No, it's not that...actually...I am just surprised...Violet do you think I deserve all this." I said as I looked at the bracelet.
"Yes...you surely do...cuz out of everyone out there, you treat me the best...always..." Violet said as she smiled at me, her eyes looked at mine and I knew that she was telling the truth.
I stayed silent for a while, as I looked at Violet.
"Then can I put it on for you too?" I said as I took the bracelet from her hand.
"Yes, you can!!" Violet said happily.
"Now we are friends forever~," I said as I put the bracelet on her hand and that's how our first day out ended with lots of laughs.

"First tell me if you liked it or not~," I said as I grinned.
"I did! okay, now return me my plate." Violet said as she pouted.
"Haha, okay okay don't pout....look here is your plate," I said as I returned her plate.
