Everyone mentioned by the empress was present at the palace but everyone was in an awkward position since no one really knew what or why they are suddenly called for a picnic that too in such cold weather.

"Irene you are here too!!" Molly said as she entered the hall along with kelly following her. On the way, her eyes meet with that of Harris but she didn't respond or even flinch, instead, she ignored him.

"Yes I am but do you know why we are being called like this?" Irene asked Molly who was holding her too tight.

"Nope! But didn't the message say picnic?" Molly asked with a confused look on her face as she got a *Are you serious* look by the ones around her.

"Well I guess it's not~," Molly said as he giggled.

"To call us on a picnic so suddenly.... it suspicious..." Kelly said as she held into Molly's hand.

"Well, the younger lady smith seems a lot smarter than the older one," Harris said as she looked at Kelly with a smile on his face. While Molly glared at him.

"What was that supposed to mean?" Molly asked as she smiled at him.
"Looks like this lady here doesn't even understand indirect statements. If you want I say it directly but won't it be disgraceful for you~" Harris said as he took a few steps towards her.

"Haha, looks like this lad here didn't have the proper manner class. Do you want me to teach you some?" Molly said dropping all the formalities. Which made Harris as well as others jaw drop.

"Molly!" Both Rose and Irene said as they followed them towards their side.

"Both of you please stop it. We are in the palace what will the royal family think of you two, if you keep fighting like this?" Irene said as she turned molly's face towards her.

"The one being disgraceful is you," Rose said straightforwardly to Harris, who blinked twice before reacting to her words.

"I..I...am sorry," Harris said as he looked at Rose and then at Molly who was also confused by his sudden change of personality.

"Oh, it's fine..." Molly said as she cleared her throat.

The situation calmed down but not for long as the epitome of goodness and justice Violet opened her mouth to speak angelic words.

"Lady Willson, right now what you said was very harsh," Violet said as she walked towards her, as her honey blonde locks waved in the air that blew past her.

"Lady Carot, you are here too?" Rose asked as her orange eyes scanned her from top to the bottom.

" Well, thanks to the kind empress I am here today. I hope lady Willson doesn't have any problems with that.." Violet said as she looked at her with her harmless Emerald eyes.

"Of course, I don't have any problem you lady Carot being here but to tell me how to talk with my brother is kinda crossing the line don't you think so...lady winter," Rose said as her eyes targeted Irene who was standing there without a thought in her head.

"Pardon?" Irene said with a perplexed look on her face. Which gave her a sense of Deja vu~

"Your highnesses the guests have arrived, we must leave too," Ethan said as he looked at both the princes who has a distressed look on their faces.

"Your highnesses did you hear what I said?" He asked to which in a reply both the princes nodded their head as they wore the broach given by the empress for today's picnic.

*Sigh* "What's with your mood? Your friend is here to spend an entire day with you and looks t you as being all sulky." Ethan said as she shook his head slowly.

" Ethan..." The crown Prince said as she toed the bow around his neck.
"Yes your Highness," Ethan said as he looked at the crown prince.

"You...talk too much." The crown Prince said in a cold voice as he turned around to face him. His red eyes looked like the burning sun and his face showed clear annoyance.

"Brother...." He said as he put his hand on his shoulders and then signalled Ethan to leave the room.

"Brother we need to go out and meet others..." Alfred said as he patted Alan's coat.
"I know," Alan said with the same face and expression.

" Good then please change your expression or else everyone will become suspicious," Alfred said as he looked at Alan.

"I don't need to do that since, as far as I know, that outside none of them are that slow that they don't find this situation suspicious. I bet they might even start connecting the dots once we go down.

" Well I can't agree more with it but mother doesn't want anyone to know about her health condition....she for the one last time wants to spend time with us normally," Alfred said as he upward his face to let the tears of back instead of flowing down.

"Then let's go down like normal days," Lana said as he let out a small smile on the corner of his lips.

" Yeah for mother let's do this," Alfred said with his cheerful smile. As both of them went out of the room where Ethan was waiting for them.

"Your highnesses you are ready to go," Ethan asked as he turned around to face them with a worried look on his face which disappeared as soon as he saw them with a smile.

"We are always ready!" Alfred said as he punched Ethan's shoulder lightly.

"Hah, whatever it's good to see both of you happy again." He said as he moved side easy letting both of them walk ahead of him.

"Well we were always happy~," Alfred said to which Alan replied with a yes, as they walked forward with that fake smile not knowing that fact that even if their faces didn't show sadness but their eyes and their body did.

Ethan was already able to see their hands and legs shaking along with their puffy red eyes.
He knew something was wrong but he was also well aware of the fact that the princes didn't want him to know it. So he kept quiet and plates along.

"So you are fully set to leave this human world...and instead of spending the day with your family, you want to spend with those kids~," His Holiness who sat down on the seat located near the empress window said as he scoffed.

"Yes, it's a good idea. Isn't it!" The empress said as she combed her sliver hair and tied it up in a bun as she applied make-up on her face to hide the pale skin and dark circles under her eyes.

As for clothing, she wore a white long dress with a flower belt in the waistline and leaf embroidery. the collar. Which hide most of her body parts so that the kids don't see how thin she has become.

"Good idea...Hah, I don't even know what to say...but it's fine as long as you like it." His Holiness said as he shrugged.

"Is it because I am leaving soon everyone is letting me do what I want to, even you who scolded me the most is letting me off the hook." The Empress said as she stood up from her seat and walked towards him. ( She can do that because his holiness is helping her, using his divine power."

"Well...can't help it since in its human's nature to know the value of things and people only when they lose them." His Holiness said as he made her sit down on the seat next to him.

"But how do I look?" Empress asked as she looked at his holiness with glittering eyes.

"Well healthy enough~ but still don't work around a lot my powers aren't enough to help you out with everything you do." His Holiness said as the empress coughed out a small amount of blood.

"....I know and don't worry I won't make you work a lot. Leaving the fact that after me you will take care of all these kids, and I won't hear any excuses."The empress said as she rose from her seat and walked towards the door.

"Then I will be leaving now~," She said as she exited the room leaving him alone in that room.

"She is still as stubborn as always but.....these kids were her only reason for living till now, if anything was to happen with anyone them, she would probably turn upside down the whole world." His Holiness talked with himself as he looked at the kids bickering down.

"And soon they will be in my care and I must make sure, that they grow up without any harm....and the rest is in their own hands.." He said as he looked at the kids, who had no idea about what was about to happen to them.
