"We all know that Lyca did it." Huang Ying continued. "Once our father dies… she would be the next person that would lead the family. She had the motive and the means."
Lyca nodded. That made sense. Indeed, she had the motive and the means to kill the old man. But… if she was the killer, she won't poison the old man as that was akin to telling everyone that it was her who did it. She would probably slit the old man's throat on his way home. A clean hit.
