"That is the worst-case scenario that could happen." A scenario that had about sixty percent chance of happening. "Whoever was behind this would then make me an offer. An offer that would help me get out of the current situation and save my ass." Of course, those people would surely ask her to do something for them.
Lyca had been silent since they left the hospital. Her mind had been thinking, analyzing the events before her. Her desire to protect her family kicked in.
