This was exactly the scene that declared the beginning of a thousand years old plan and a journey full of grief and pain.
However, if Lorien was here, he would have noticed that there is something a bit different from the original scene he saw in the 'Anime'.
And this change would be Gojo who looked very different from half a year ago as he appeared to be much sturdier and muscular giving off a more powerful vibe.
Different from the slender look he had at the start of the 'Series', he now looked a lot like how he looked when he was released from the prison realm.
It seems that his battle with Lorien and the loss he suffered pushed him to further improve and strengthen himself.
It appears that he wasn't joking when he stated that it would be unknown who would win the next time they battle.
It's just that this isn't that important right now as none of those present knew anything about this.
So, everything continued as per the 'script' as Gojo leaned closely towards Itadori examining him.
"Hmmmmm..."
"Hahahaah, Damn, it really did combine with you."
"That's hilarious!"
"Anything wrong with your body?" Gojo then asked after commenting on the situation.
"Not particularly." Responded Itadori.
"Can you swap out with Sukuna?"
"Sukuna?"
"The curse you ate."
"Oh...Yeah, I think I can do that."
"Then give us 10 seconds, once 10 seconds are up, come back to us."
"But..."
"Don't worry, I am the strongest."
Saying this, Gojo threw the bag he was holding toward Megumi and said.
"Megumi, Hold on to this."
"What is this?"
"Kikufuku from Kikusuian, It's Sendai's specialty and it is super good!"
Hearing this, Megumi's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at the bag he was currently holding.
"This guy actually went and bought souvenirs when people were out here dying!"
"It's not a souvenir! I am going to eat it on the way home."
"Uhhh..."
And meanwhile, just as the two were chatting, Itadori had already relinquished control of his body to Sukuna without anyone noticing.
So, without leaving anyone time to react, the unchained Sukuna immediately jumped toward Gojo causing Megumi to shout out in fright to notify his teacher.
However, the latter didn't seem to care much about this as he continued talking about the food.
*Swish*
*Boom*
With a could of smoke appearing because of the impact, everything fell silent for a moment as Megumi closed his eyes for a moment to protect his eyes while also holding the bag of food tightly to his chest.
It's just that the moment he opened his eyes again, he was instantly met with a pair of red eyes that were inches away.
Those were Sukuna's eyes as we were currently on all fours as Gojo sat leisurely on his back.
Doing so, Gojo didn't seem to care much about the attack as after a moment of silence he immediately continued his talk; it seems that he really loves the food.
However, Sukuna didn't appear to have the same interest as him as after realizing what happened, he immediately jumped back to his feet attacking Gojo again.
*Swish*
*Bang*
*Bang*
*Boom*
This close quarters combat continued for a couple more seconds as Sukuna who was currently at his weakest was being toyed with.
Even the strongest punch he could release at the moment didn't do much as Gojo just stood there with 'Limitless' passivly surrounding him.
And so, under Sukuna's surprised eyes, Gojo just smiled at him and started counting down.
"Seven..."
"Eight..."
"Nine..."
"Should be time."
*Beat*
The moment he said this, Sukuna felt a strong hear beat as he instantly lost control of the body and got forced back inside of Itadori.
'Damn it...Again?'
'I can't take over.'
'Who the hell is this...Itadori...brat?'
And so, with those last thoughts, Sukuna's voice faded away as the pink haired young man who had restored control of his body asked Gojo.
"Oh, was everything okay?"
"I am shocked! You can really control it!" Responded Gojo.
"He's kind of annoying, though, I can hear his voice." Said Itadori as he lightly slapped the side of his head.
"That's a miracle that's all he's doing!" Said Gojo while walking towards the young man.
Seeing this, Itadori looked at Gojo in confusion just to get tapped in the forehead before he could react causing him to lose consciousness.
However, thankfully, Gojo immediately caught him before he could fall to the ground.
It's just that seeing this, Megumi couldn't help but feel a bit worried not knowing what his teacher was up to, so, he couldn't help but ask.
"What did you do?"
"Knocked him out! If he isn't possessed by Sukuna when he wakes up, he might have potential as a vessel."
Saying this, Gojo then turned his head toward Megumi and continued in his usual upbeat voice.
"Now, I have a question for you, What should we do with him?"
"Even if he is a vessel, Jujutsu regulations demand Itadori to be executed, however, I don't want to let him die."
"Your personal feelings?"
"Yes, please do something about this."
"Hhahaha, now it's a request from a precious student, leave it to me!"
Saying this, Gojo gave a thumbs up to Megumi indicating that everything was okay, moreover, he himself is very interested in Sukuna after hearing what Lorien said about him.
'The strongest of the old era....'
'Haahaha, it's hilarious! I won't lose!'
'Well, It seems that I am going to get a headache with those higher-ups later on...'
'Ummm, with Lorien's plan it appears that their existence isn't that important anymore, so I can deal with them!'
Thinking of this, Gojo's eyes couldn't help but narrow as a smirk appeared on his face.
