--Chapter Start--
However, this wasn't the only notable thing that was happening right now as in some distant corner of Japan, a hidden figure was meticulously drawing up his plan.
This figure is that of a slim and tall man with long black hair partially tied up behind his head while the rest is draped down his back.
Sporting a gold-colored kasaya garment over black yukata robes, his monk attire is completed with white tabi socks and zori sandals.
If anyone from Jujutsu High were to meet him, they'll instantly recognize this figure as Geto.
It's just that if they were to focus more closely, they'll notice something different as 'Geto' now has a huge extra scar on his forehead; It was as if he had an impromptu brain surgery.
And that is indeed somewhat the case, as right now, even though the body is that of Geto, the one controlling it isn't; Instead, it is the one known as history's evilest sorcerer in jujutsu history.
This is an ancient sorcerer who pursues the goal of "evolving" humanity via cursed energy, which is actually something in common with a lot of other people in this world, it's just that the way he goes about doing it is very unscrupulous.
However, it is this devious and underhanded nature that allowed him to reach his current position, otherwise, he would have died ages ago.
And speaking of dying, Kenjaku is actually very lucky as he had unknowably escaped death when he was taking over this body.
This is of course because of Lorien who let things develop normally and didn't intervene to stop Kenjaku from doing so despite being present at the time.
Frankly, when this happened, Lorien felt a bit conflicted between catching Kenjaku right there and then, and letting things develop normally in a predictable manner.
It's just that after thinking about it for a while, he still decided to let him go as he wanted to analyze this ancient sorcerer's open domain; However, that needed to be in the right time and space.
Of course, all of this happened before Lorien gained the 'Copy' ability of the 'Chrono-Eyes', otherwise, he would have instantly copied it and been done with it.
However, Kenjaku himself had no idea about this as he felt proud of himself after tricking 'everyone' and gaining a very important ability.
Anyhow, this doesn't matter much as none of the relevant figures actually cared or thought about this.
For example; right now, Kenjaki is still hidden in a luxurious house scheming for his big plan trying to piece everything together.
It's just that different from his usual composed and calm demeanor, Kenjaku looked rather tense with anxiety written all over his face.
Unconsciously biting his finger as a reflex, some sweat appeared on Kenjaku's forehead as he tried to think of a solution for the huge problem he was currently facing.
"One of the key 'Cogs' to my plan disappeared and I don't know if he was just captured or exorcised..."
"The last time Mahito was seen was when he was being hunted down by Yuki, and from what I gathered she just sealed him and took him away."
"But this isn't the main issue as I still have ways to replace Mahito's cursed technique."
"Even though they may not be as perfect, they will suffice."
"The real problem is actually the guy who defeated Gojo and who Yuki seems to be allied with."
"Now, to start the plan, not only do I have to deal with Gojo, but also this guy..."
Thinking of this, Kenjaku couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated, after all, planning to deal with Gojo alone took a lot of effort, pain, and luck; Even his taking over this body is partially related to that.
However, dealing with Lorien who was able to defeat Gojo is much more difficult, after all, Kenjaku basically knows nothing about the guy.
All of this made it so that Kenjaku is not able to take a targeted approach as he did with Gojo.
So, after thinking about it for a while longer, Kenjaku soon gave up, releasing a long sigh full of exhaustion.
*Sigh*
"I should focus on restoring Sukuna to his full power, that way, I'll have a strong combat power on my side."
"Moreover, I don't have to worry about him attacking me because of the binding vow."
"However, I must deal with one of those two before then, otherwise, even Sukuna will have difficulties fighting them two-on-one; I should make it a series of one on ones."
Deciding on this, Kenjaku finally nodded; reaffirming his own thoughts.
"That's all I can do for now!"
"So, I should continue with things as planned, sealing Gojo, and only leaving the other guy around; From there, it's Sukuna's problem, not mine!"
Finally organizing everything, Kenjaku couldn't help but laugh out loud as he felt that a burden was thrown off his chest.
"Hhahaha, This is actually more interesting!"
"Much better than the previous predictable state!"
"Interesting, interesting!"
However, while Kenjaku was currently laughing happily, he didn't realize that most of his plans were very flawed.
After all, the moment Sukuna meets Lorien in a real life and death battle, Sukuna stands practically no chance of survival unless Lorien wants to play around.
Otherwise, no amount of cursed techniques and domains would be enough to counteract a reality warper at full power.
However, Kenjaku isn't to be blamed for this as this was an information gap that is impossible to fill even with his huge experience and knowledge.
It's just that unknowably, this small gap will cost him everything in the future.
