As Nobara's broken hammer fell to the ground, she looked in defeat at the cursed spirit in front of her that was holding her by the leg, upside down.
'Sigh...'
'I didn't know there would be so many cursed spirits.'
'I should have brought a lot more nails with me...'
Suddenly feeling a bit of regret, Nobara focused her attention on the cursed spirit that was about to swallow her as she then spoke in defiance while pointing at it.
"I know your face now! I swear I'll curse you!"
It's just that the cursed spirit didn't seem to care, or maybe it even understand her words as it just moved Nobara close to its mouth getting ready to gulp her down.
However, thankfully for her, a third party suddenly intervened before this could happen.
*Swish*
In an instant, and before anyone could react, an unbelievably long tongue suddenly appeared out of nowhere encircling Nobara and yanking her out of the cursed spirit's hand.
Then, a long white snake suddenly emerged attacking the cursed spirit and giving Nobara time to land inside the mouth of a green frog with black markings on it.
"We're escaping, Kugisaki!" Said Megumi who had just arrived for the rescue.
"I hate frogs, you know."
"Yeah, well, sorry, but we have to go!"
"..."
Watching all of this from his position using his divine sense; Lorien couldn't help but smile as he watched their interactions.
'Hahahaha, Jujutsu Sorcerers really do have a screw loose in their brains.'
'Hmmm, Nobara's technique is actually quite interesting...'
'I should go meet her later to copy it, after all, for my eye prowess to function, there needs to be a direct vision of the target.'
'Tsk, I have to fix that when I get the chance!'
Shaking his head, Lorien then turned his attention back again towards Itadori and the finger bearer.
However, doing so, Lorien found out that there was actually nothing to watch there as Itadori was getting toyed with.
*Booom*
*Booom*
Getting continuously flung around by the cursed energy released by the finger bearer; Itadori suddenly came to realize how weak he actually was in the grand scheme of things.
*Booom*
"I was full of myself' He spoke as he leaned against the wall he was just hurled at by the finger bearer.
"I thought I was strong enough."
"I thought I was at least strong enough to choose when I died."
"But I was wrong!"
"I am weak! I am far too weak!"
"Aughh, I don't want to die!!" He yelled as he stood up and help his face.
"No, No way!"
"But I am going to die!"
Watching this, Lorien quickly lost interest as this couldn't even be considered a fight.
'Come on, let Sukuna out already!'
*Swish*
*Boom*
Watching Itadori finally stabilize and attack the cursed spirit right in front of him, Lorien just sat down and leaned on his right leg, his eyes half closed.
*Yaaawn*
'If this continues, I might just fall asleep.'
However, thankfully, just as the finger bearer held Itadori's fist, blocking his attack, a noise suddenly sounded from afar, reverberating loudly in the room.
*Awoooooo*
Hearing this, Lorien finally raised his head again and restored his attention.
'Is it finally coming?'
"..."
"What a thoroughly annoying brat; He's obviously messing with me!" Said Sukuna who was forcefully given control of the body.
Scratching his shin, Sukuna smacked the cursed spirit's shoulder and continued as he inadvertently healed Yuji's fingers.
"Hold on a moment, I am thinking right now; Hmmmmm, What can I do to make that brat regret this?"
Saying this, Sukuna completely ignored the finger bearer as he started drawing out his plan.
'If I just go after that brat's companion, he'll just switch back.'
'Hmmm, however, If I go with this cursed spirit, that'll just put things back to how they were!'
Thinking of this, Sukuna let go of the cursed spirit as he started walking away and stated.
"Hey! Let's go kill some kids!"
However, it appears that the finger bearer had no interest in this as the moment when Sukuna let go of it, it jumped back in horror, creating some distance for him.
Doing so, the cursed spirit then created a mass of cursed energy in its hand and launched it at the back of Sukuna who was walking away.
*Swish*
*Booom*
It's just that an attack of this level isn't able to do anything to the king of curses who just turned around and raised his left hand to block it; Inadvertently healing the cut-off left hand in the process.
"Idiot!"
Saying this, Sukuna then looked at the cursed spirit and continued leisurely.
"You don't like walks? Well, cursed spirits are supposed to stay where they are born!"
Thinking of this, Sukuna just smiled at the finger bearer and stated.
"Fine, Fine, In that case..."
*Swish*
"You die here!"
In an instant, Sukuna appeared right next to the cursed spirit, face-palmed it, and then smashed its head to the ground.
*Booom*
And what followed from there was a complete slaughter as Sukuna toyed with the finger bearer very similarly to how it previously toyed with the first-year students.
It seems that the principle of 'what goes around comes around' still applies to this world.
It's just that Lorien didn't have much interest in watching such a fight as it was pretty boring from his point of view.
That of course until Sukuna suddenly decided to his domain expansion.
"Neither you, nor this brat, neither understand what curses really are."
Saying this, Sukuna looked arrogantly at the finger bearer as he then declared while making a hand sign.
"This is a good opportunity, so I'll show you...what really jujutsu is!"
[Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine]
*Swish*
Following the appearance of an evil-looking shrine atop a clear lake that reflected a crimson sky; the finger bearer was instantly cut into pieces without even being able to react.
"I was planning to cut you into three pieces, but you're pretty weak."
Doing so, Sukuna then proceeded to remove a finger that was lodged in the finger bearer's body before burning it into ashes using some purplish flames.

Finishing all of this, Sukuna then took a couple of steps, moving the edge of the concrete fragment he was standing on, and spoke.
"It's over!"
Saying this, Sukuna looked visibly irritated as he continued.
"This sucks! If you're gonna switch, just do it already!"
It's just that even after saying this, nothing happened.
"What's the matter, brat?"
Finally realizing that something went wrong, a huge grin silently appeared on Sukuna's face.
"Hahhahaha!"
However, before he could go out and head towards Megumi who was still waiting outside, a voice suddenly appeared, startling him in the process.
"That's the ugliest smile I have ever seen in my life!"
