Their move was so quick and coordinated that Maki didn't have time to stop them even if she wanted to.
'As expected of such an ancient clan, even if they are rotten to the core, they still have some skills, but that's to be expected, otherwise, someone else might have ended them long ago which would have saved me a lot of effort!'
Thinking of this, a look of interest suddenly appeared on Maki's face as she looked at the simple domains wondering if they were effective against Domains built on the Dream Path.

Understanding the situation, Maki couldn't help but think back to her talk with Lorien after trying to fight him using her newborn domain and eventually getting beaten up without the power to even fight back.

However, just then as Maki was daydreaming about reaching the next stage, her opponents swiftly took advantage of her inattentiveness as they tried to launch a series of attacks to end things as quickly as possible before their simple domains collapsed.

It's just that before their attacks could land, Maki suddenly raised her sword blocking Ogi's flaming sword slash.

Ducking her head and dodging an attack from the back which was launched by Naoya, Maki landed a swift sidekick to Ogi's stomach sending him flying before turning her head toward Naoya, her main target.
"You know, I've wanted to do this for a very long time."

Not caring about his response, Maki didn't hold back any longer as she didn't want to waste any more time with this useless family of hers.
'Kill some and negate others, let's choose the lucky ones that are going to live!'
'Hmmm, why do I feel like I got infected by Lorien's personality? Is it because I stayed with him for a long time?'
