because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
After the camera feeds were taken over all he needed to do was wait for the right time to infiltrate where the guards along his route was the lowest.
"Go." Mio said when the timing and the feeds confirmed it was the best time. He had one hour before there would be a switch in patrols by the guards.
James immediately dove down at high speed only spreading his wings at the last moment to slow his descent when it was absolutely necessary. He managed to cut through the door lock allowing him into the building in only moments. Completely hiding his entry was not important since it would be clear someone entered anyway once he ran into any guards or they found Himiko missing.
He dashed down the hallways as fast as he could without making loud noises and maintaining a low profile.
"There are two targets around the next corner to the right facing you." Mio informed him.
He unsheathed the combat knife from his back while maintaining his speed as he came around the corner facing two guards. He dashed to the closest one. It had only just registered to the guard that there was someone that wasn't supposed to be there.
"He....glggl" was all the guard could get out as James' sliced the combat knife past his throat so deeply it both cut his artery and his windpipe splashing blood across James' face leaving the guard with only the ability to gurgle as he bled out unable to call for help. Before the other guard managed to react to grab his gun James had already jumped on top of the second guard toppling him to the ground, plunging the knife into his heart while using his free hand to seal his mouth watching the light go out in his eyes before getting up.
He didn't waste any further time and continued rushing towards his target room.
"A single target around the next corner halfway down the corridor facing away." Mio reported once again.
James slowed down some making his steps even quieter as he ran around the corner sneaking up on the guard before leaping on him from behind slitting his throat while keeping his mouth sealed. He had gotten messier than expected with the blood of three of the guards already matting his hear and covering a lot of his face and suit. Surprising himself he wasn't too bothered though. He knew these guards supported and probably assisted in some pretty horrendous things here, but the knowledge of that should not be enough for him to be capable of killing them in cold blood like he had.
In just a few short minutes he had already made it to the door of Himiko's room which he opened gently. The room was rather desolate with just a steel frame bed and desk with nothing for decorations. It was barely a step above a prison cell. In the corner of the bed was a blonde girl with her legs pulled up to her chest in a bland off-white outfit that looked like it had been washed too many times. Her hair was looking a bit dull, but the most disturbing part were the multitude of scratch marks running up her arms with dried up scabs. Her eyes seemed to be dull with dark bags under them. He wasn't sure if that was due to her experience or any possible drug she might have been given.
It took her a few seconds to even notice someone entered the room. Once she did she slowly looked up at him with her dead eyes that suddenly brightened when she paid closer attention to him. Looking him over caused her pale cheeks to heat up with a pink blush as a wide slightly crazed smile showed up on her face revealing her elongated canines.
James tried giving her a reassuring smile.
"Hi, I'm here to take you away." he tells her gently.
She looked a little unsure at first, but within moments she rushed off the bed into his arms. At first it seemed like a relatively normal interaction which wasn't quite what he expected, but then he suddenly felt her licking the blood from his neck. She couldn't see the somewhat sinister smile on his face when she did this due to her having her head buried in the crook of his neck.
'Gotcha' he thought to himself.
He gently stroked the back of her head.
"Don't worry, you'll be safe from now on. I won't let them hurt you anymore." he told her.
"Hmm." she hummed with a blush on her cheeks.
'He is so cute. All bloody and tattered. I just want to eat him up. hehehe.' she thought inwardly as she continued licking the blood from his neck.
"You can bite if you want." he whispers into her ear the gentle air causing her to blush even harder.
After a moment of consideration she couldn't hold herself in anymore and bit into his neck her extended canines piercing his neck allowing his blood to burst into her mouth which she quickly gulped down.
'D..d...divine.' she thought as she started gulping down the best blood she had ever tasted even faster causing the weakness in her body, which had been building due to weeks of restrictions and abuse, to quickly dissipate.
James gently kept stroking her hair as she sucked his blood.
'I wouldn't quite call the experience pleasurable, but Im sure now that she has tasted the blood of one of the strongest quirk holders she will be hooked her for the rest of her life like an addict. On top of the emotional attachment from being her saviour from this life of endless suffering she will never be able to escape the palm of my hand.' he thought his smile growing even wider at his plans progressing even farther.
Eternally loyal pawns and toys to play with were extremely valuable after all. Them being adorable didn't hurt either. He was sure that by the time he got her out of this place and provided her with a home and love she would be his second dead loyal toy.
