Even Ibara, Kyoka, Itsuka and Ochaco ended up sitting around James. After all over half the girls in the class were already gathered around him and sitting surrounded by the other boys that they had barely gotten to know yet would be awkward.
Some of the boys glared at James, they had been hoping to get closer to some of the girls in class and shoot their shot. However there plans had been ruined by James right off the bat. Not only that, but he was sitting like some kind of harem king with women on each side and one sitting in his lap. How could they accept that? 'Handsome bastard!' they though.
Izuku was one of the few too distracted to pay attention to James' position as he sat down next to Ochaco who was on the outside of the grouping of girls. He was instead freaking out about sitting next to an actual girl for once. One that wasn't his mom. His brain was already overloaded by this simple fact and had no space for anything else. Unfortunately, this also meant there was no space left in there to think about having a coherent conversation with Ochaco.
"Ok, order whatever you want first and then we can get started," James said magnanimously.
He ordered a bunch of appetisers for everyone to share along with a bunch of bottles of unfortunately non-alcoholic drinks. Although with his wealth he had enough influence that if he asked for alcoholic beverages the establishment wouldn't dare to deny his wishes it would make him look bad. Both if it leaked to the media or even just among his hero-aspirant classmates it wouldn't look good.
If there was one thing he missed after reincarnating and having to live through his youth again it was a nice cocktail to unwind and relax after a long day of work. Thinking about this actually gave him an idea. What if he used a bar/club as the front for his organisation. If he made them upscale locations with his wealth and influence they would be good places to gather information.
On the surface it would just be an entertainment establishment, but in the back it could be a collection of services for his operatives. A safe house, an armoury, a place for secure communication, whatever they needed to complete their jobs.
He could even turn it into a franchise as his organisation expands and open up locations all over Japan and eventually possibly the whole world.
His operatives would be able to use any of the locations to provide or receive intel, jobs, equipment, and assignments. It would also be hard to investigate the locations if they were the place the elite liked to hang out. Well he would need to discuss the idea with Tsumugi. Right now he should focus on building his relationship with the class.
The food and drinks were brought out soon after filling the tables to the brim. Some of the guys went all out ordering tons of food. Thankfully for James no matter what they ordered the bill would be a mere drop in the bucket to him.
It didn't take the girls long to start socialising with each other as if they had been friends for a long time already. The boys were quite the opposite as beyond a few of the more social members they had quite a few boys that were either quite awkward or downright anti-social.
James didn't care though as he had Himiko and Momo both trying to get his attention by hand feeding him the food.
"Say aah," Himiko teased him.
However when he took the food he teased her right back by licking her finger which caused her to blush despite her daring attitude. He was sure she was thinking of some things they had done in the privacy of his bedroom if he was going by her reaction.
Momo not to be outdone grabbed some food and followed Himiko's example.
