After they started eating some went up to the front to select songs and start karaoke.
Mina was probably the most energetic karaoke singer in the entire class really getting into the whole thing, though Toru surprisingly had the most beautiful singing voice. Momo came back from the front of the room having finished a song and noticed Himiko's behaviour. She quickly sat down trying her best to act natural. Tsuyu seemed to sense something was off though and looked at her curiously before finally shrugging and returning to her conversation with Toru.
Kyoka was up front again singing another song. She seemed to be quite in to karaoke like Mina was. He wondered if her quirk made her more in to music in general.
Ochaco had pulled Izuku up front to perform a duet that ended up sounding more like a solo due to how nervous and quiet Izuku was compared to Ochaco who really got into it.
The some of the boys tried showing off their singing abilities to impress the girls. Unfortunately, their singing chops were quite limited. Eventually everyone went up with the exception of Shoto who was trying too hard to be uninterested. Even Katsuki ended up cutting loose and belting out a few songs though, he didn't seem to care whether it was any good.
Ida was surprisingly the worst one. He seemed too focused and serious while singing required some level of calm confidence that he just lacked. That and any sense of tone and rhythm, but no one called him out on it.
When they eventually left many hours later the class seemed to have grown closer and most of them were thankful to James for not only inviting them all, but paying for it since most of them would not have been able to afford something like this.
