“Can you believe how long the line to enter the restaurant was? We would’ve waited half a day if we wanted to get inside. Way to go, partner,” Flavia smiled at Narias excitedly about not needing to wait in line.

“It must be because of the dungeon exploration starting next week. Many students want to have a good time before that happens. There are many who are afraid of going into the Magic Dungeon as well. So, they compensate by going all out and having fun as much as they can.” Ileena explained her perspective.

“Afraid? But the teachers will be accompanying the students. Besides, the monsters on the first floor are not that strong,” Narias was a little surprised to hear that part.

“That is true. But that doesn’t change the fact that going into the Magic Dungeon is dangerous.” Ileena added.

“Yeah, I guess,” Narias knew she was right.

“I’m sorry for the wait. Your table is ready,” a charming waitress came to inform them. “If you follow me, please.”

“Special Guest Tickets are awesome,” Flavia hugged Narias arm before following the waitress.

“Excuse me, may I bother you for a minute?” before Ileena could do the same, the party was interrupted by a polite question.

“Yes?” Narias turned to see who it was.

It was a girl age sixteen or seventeen, or even eighteen. It was difficult to say because she looked very mature, yet her build was telling Narias she couldn’t be that old. She wore a suit, similar to someone who could be working as a secretary in his previous world. Also, her whole demeanor screamed of someone highly competent.

Dark blue two-piece suit made the girl look very professional. Long sleeves and skirt, with her skirt reaching just below her knees added mature elegance. She had a white color blouse underneath as her top, which was buttoned all the way up to her neck. The girl’s blonde, almost dry sand color hair reached up to her shoulders. It was combed very neatly with the end of it curled inwards just lightly. You couldn’t see from the front, but she had her hair done in a fancy half twisted ponytail at the back too.

“Huh? Nalitta?” Emilia recognized the girl right away. “Why are you here?”

“Greetings. My name is Nalitta Rasakila. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” the first thing Nalitta did was to introduce herself. “I am here by Louneus Vilmanos request. He would like to invite Narias Talrone and you, Emilia Frizz, to join him at his table on the third floor.”

“Louneus Vilmanos?” Emilia gasped in surprise.

“The Golden Lounge on the third floor?” Ileena was slightly taken aback herself.

“Who? And what do you mean, Golden Lounge?” Flavia didn’t know who the person was, but was more curious about the seating area on the third floor.

“I’m sorry, but all four of us were about to sit down,” Narias was about to refuse.

“Please forgive my rudeness, but Louneus Vilmanos insists,” Nalitta’s sharp, ocean blue color eyes indicated she won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.

Huh? What’s her deal? Narias furrowed his eyebrows.

“I think it would be wise to accept the invitation,” Ileena suddenly suggested.

“Eh?” it was Flavia who gave Ileena a blank stare. “Why? And who’s Louneus Vilmanos anyway?”

“You don’t know?” Emilia looked at the confused bunny girl. “He’s the president of the Elite Magicians student club and the most influential person in the student body.”

“Wow, really?” Flavia gasped.

The Elite Magicians student club president? The club that Emilia belongs to? What would he want with me? Still, we just came here and it would be totally rude to leave Ileena and Flavia by themselves like that. Narias was debating in his mind.

“Ok, I don’t mind meeting him.” Narias said with the girl in front of him procuring a mild smile which she tried to hide right away. “But only if Ileena and Flavia can join me.”

“Huh?” the last part wasn’t something Nalitta was happy to hear. “I’m sorry, but the invitation is only for you and Emilia Frizz.”

The girl informed politely yet firmly.

“It’s ok, Narias. We can wait for you at our table,” Ileena didn’t mind.

“Yeah, all’s cool, partner,” Flavia added, more to agree with Ileena than anything else.

“No, it’s not.” Narias stated firmly. “Louneus Vilmanos might be the president of his student club, but you are my girlfriends. You are more important to me than someone I have never met. I’m sorry, but if Ileena and Flavia can’t come, then I won’t be going as well.”

Both Ileena’s and Flavia’s cheeks sparkled like no tomorrow after hearing Narias’s words.

“I… I won’t go either,” Emilia announced half timidly. “Ileena and Flavia invited me to spend the day with them and Narias was kind enough to invite me to this restaurant. It would be very ungrateful on my part to leave them like that.”

“Wha…” Nalitta was taken aback by the sudden turn of events. It was clear she was hesitant to go back empty handed. “I understand. Please, forgive my rudeness. Of course, your friends can come as well. As an apology, I would be happy to treat everyone whatever you desire to order.”

Wow, she is really insistent. Narias thought.

“Hey, does that mean they serve different kinds of desserts at the Golden Lounge?” Flavia was curious.

“I don’t know, I’ve never been there,” Ileena answered calmly.

“Hmm…” Emilia simply gave Narias a kind smile.

“Well, if everyone is ok with it, I guess we could accept the invitation,” Narias finally gave in.

“Yey,” Flavia jumped from excitement.

“Please, follow me then,” Nalitta motioned with her hand, then turned to the waitress who was still waiting to accompany Narias and his friends to the table. “Table number one, please.”

“Yes, right away,” the waitress instantly understood what she meant.

“Hey, hey. Golden Lounge means they have tables and chairs made of gold, right?” Flavia whispered to Ileena.

“Don’t be ridiculous.” Ileena responded in her usual, serious tone.

“Teehee~” the bunny girl chuckled to how serious Ileena was.

“I am back, sir,” Nalitta said after she came back to the table. “Apologies, but… our guest had a few friends with him he didn’t want to leave behind.”

“A few friends…” Louneus Vilmanos furrowed one of his eyebrows, but then quickly lightened up after seeing who the friends were. “That is quite alright, Nalitta. Not leaving your friends behind is a virtue, is it not?”

“Eeek…” Rudolf, who was still sitting at the table, squirmed.

“Please, this is Narias Talrone and his friends Ileena and Flavia, and Emilia as well,” Nalitta introduced them. “Please meet Louneus Vilmanos, the president of the Elite Magicians student club.”

Even from his first glance, Narias could tell that Louneus Vilmanos wasn’t just another student. The Elite Magicians student club president looked the part, and more.

For one, it was evident Louneus Vilmanos was caring for his hair. It was groomed and combed in an extremely smart style. The first impression could make you think Louneus was overly obsessed with his hair, but his hair style was only a tiny water droplet in the ocean compared to his overall look.

Louneus Vilmanos was exceptionally handsome for a young man of his age. If Narias could describe it in one sentence he’d call Louneus the top fashion magazine book cover face of the year. Even TV celebrities from Anthony’s world would envy Louneus looks.

The way the Elite Magicians student club president held himself showed he was no pushover. It was difficult to ascertain how capable he was as a spellcaster, but Narias noticed right away Louneus was working out. The extravagant black suit, which also partly resembled a magician’s robe gave away Louneus Vilmanos wasn’t your average student.

“How do you do? Nice to meet you,” Narias extended his hand to greet Louneus.

- ‘Slap!’ – but his hand got slapped by Rudolf.

“How dare you extend your hand to his Excellency. Know your place, commoner,” Rudolf raised his voice.

“Eh?” Narias was surprised as well as he became irritated. He was about to instantly turn around and leave.

“Rudolf,” the air felt heavy all of a sudden as his club’s president addressed him. “It is very inappropriate to treat our guests in such an unsightly manner.”

“I… I’m sorry sir. I…” the boy shivered in his seat.

“I’m truly sorry about my subordinate treating you this way. Please, accept my humble apologies. My name is Louneus Vilmanos. It is an honor to finally meet you,” he stood up and extended his hand to greet Narias.

Why do I feel like this situation is strangely familiar? Narias couldn’t shake the feeling he was having a really strange Deja Vu moment. Oh, isn’t this…

Then suddenly, he remembered a moment of his past life. Narias, Anthony at the time, and his sister was watching some school life drama. It wasn’t like he wanted to do it, but for whatever reason his sister Miranda managed to force him to watch her favorite drama series from time to time.

Anthony would do it more for his sister than because he enjoyed watching TV. Miranda would usually watch TV dramas together with her friends, but when they couldn’t come over, she’d always want some company. That’s when she’d bug Anthony to watch it with her. Since she was so persistent and wouldn’t let her brother read any books unless he watched TV with her, Anthony had to give in.

Miranda’s brother would pretend he was watching it just so his sister would let him read afterward. The romance part in the drama didn’t interest him at the time, but sometimes the plot would offer something that even Anthony was willing to pay attention to. More often than not, it was when some evil mastermind character was scheming and plotting something. It was interesting for Anthony to see how it would turn out. But then he’d end up disappointed because the ‘bad guy’ would make some stupid mistake and mess everything up.

One particular scene stuck with him and now he remembered what it was. During one of the shows, the evil mastermind was meeting the protagonist to get to know him better in order to set a trap in the future. At the time, Anthony thought the plan was ok, but the execution was poorly done and that’s why it failed. In addition, Anthony didn’t like the fact that the protagonist was portrayed being so dense he couldn’t see the trap being set up.

The important part was, the setting of the meeting very much resembled Narias’s meeting with Louneus Vilmanos right now. The guy on the show had his overly sexy secretary and a bodyguard who acted almost in the same manner Rudolf acted just now. And the boss in the show reacted almost the same way how Louneus reacted in response to Rudolf slapping Narias hand.

This must be a total coincidence. Or is it? He couldn’t believe how similar the scene looked.

“Oh, sorry. Hello,” after a short pause, Narias extended his hand for a handshake.

“Please, have a seat,” Louneus offered by extending his hand.

“Thank you. I…” Narias was about to sit down, but then noticed there weren’t enough seats available for all of them. “Why don’t you have a seat?”

Narias motioned to the girls to have a seat instead.

“Oh, nice. Thanks, partner,” Flavia was the first one to take him up on the offer.

“Thank you,” Ileena followed.

“But… Well, thank you,” Emilia was a little hesitant, but seeing how other girls felt ok with it, she sat down as well.

“Such fine manners. Offering the seats to ladies first. Now then…” Louneus commented, but then hadn’t finished his sentence, as if waiting for something to happen.

“That’s ok, I’ll stand.” Narias said after a short moment of awkward silence.

“Heh,” Rudolf smirked at him.

“Ahem… Sir Vilmanos has nothing else to discuss with you, Rudolf. You may go now,” because Rudolf couldn’t get the hint Nalitta had to tell him point blank.

“Ah? What? Eek…” the boy finally got the message. “Aaah… Yes, thank you, sir. I will be going now, sir.”

Rudolf stood up, with his face going pale for some reason, which didn’t go unnoticed by Narias.

Yep. This is definitely the same scene that happened in that drama. Even if it’s a coincidence, I better watch what I say. Narias decided not to take any chances.

“Please, have a seat, Narias Talrone,” Louneus offered as soon Rudolf was gone.

“Thank you, sir,” he accepted politely.

As soon as Narias sat down, the same waitress who greeted them at the entrance showed up with the additional menus in her hand.

“Here you go. Please, let me know when you’re ready to order,” she smiled and left them be.

“Please, order anything you want,” the Elite Magicians student president invited with a smile. “I hope you are not in a rush. I would like to discuss with you something extremely important.”

For whatever reason, Narias felt suspicious about Louneus Vilmanos polite words.
