To say they ate until their fingers were licked clean would be no exaggeration.

When Mito discovered there was still a substantial amount of rabbit meat left, only three kilos from a staggering eighty, she suggested to Tsunade to save a generous portion for lunch the following day.

Nawaki was indifferent. Having confirmed his ability to transport massive animals from the hunting dimension, he knew capturing more rabbits, which were abundant there, would not be challenging.

However, the issue lay in the lie Tsunade had concocted. It may have sufficed for now, but it was uncertain whether it would hold up if another rabbit were to appear...

'What would happen if I fed a chicken or another animal one of those weak red light orbs?' Nawaki pondered, a curious spark igniting in his gaze.

No sooner had the thought crossed his mind than he felt an urge to experiment and witness the outcome...

Suppressing his impulse to immediately start an orb-fed animal farm, Nawaki bid them farewell and retreated to his room.

There, he summoned several shadow clones, instructing them to roam in their shadow forms, shrouded in dark mist.

This was merely an experiment, with each clone altering its appearance through the use of transformation jutsu.

The next morning, Nawaki woke up earlier than everyone else...

In fact, he hadn't slept; instead, he spent the night meditating with his sister. He then went to the kitchen and prepared lunch boxes with the white rabbit meat, sealing them in parchment.

After breakfast, Nawaki and Kushina set off for the ninja academy together.

It was Kushina's first day, and she felt a little nervous.

Even before they reached the academy, Kushina attracted some curious glances due to her unusual hair color. Most adults recognized it as the Uzumaki trademark, but many younger villagers did not.

This attention made Kushina more nervous upon their arrival, especially when she noticed some students pointing at her.

Kushina didn't head directly to class with Nawaki; she first needed to check in with her sensei.

Meanwhile, Nawaki entered the classroom.

Several students were already there, mostly chatting in groups of four.

Mikoto, who had also arrived, was conversing with Hikari as usual. Spotting Nawaki, her smile grew more vibrant, tinged with shyness and warmth: "Nawaki, you're here. Good morning."

Nawaki returned the smile, "Good morning, Mikoto."

"Nawaki… Good morning," Hikari shyly greeted him, which was somewhat unusual for her.

Nawaki approached and greeted her with a smile, "Good morning, Hikari."

Up close, Hikari's cheeks flushed deeply at Nawaki's smile.

Suddenly, a boy with dark green hair and black eyes, his physique notably well-built for his age, pointed at Nawaki and declared, "Nawaki! Today, I challenge you to a duel. If I lose, I'll write my name backward!"

"Mirim, isn't your name the same backward?!" another boy teased, elbowing him.

"Is that so?" Mirim appeared genuinely unaware as she scratched her head in confusion.

"Man, you are too dumb!" the first boy exclaimed in frustration.

Nawaki remained unfazed, even allowing a small smile: "Alright, I accept your challenge."

Challenges from students were rare for Nawaki, and he didn't want to discourage the boy, even if he was a bit slow-witted...

Some time later, the sensei entered the classroom.

The students were still engaged in noisy discussions, some even shouting.

"Silence!" the sensei's voice cut sharply through the chatter.

The room fell silent.

"You can come in now."

Following these words, a girl entered the classroom.

Her hair color seemed to unsettle the students, eliciting murmurs among them.

"I've seen this girl before with Nawaki-sama..."

The girl's presence evoked various reactions; some students even looked jealous, suspecting she was close to Nawaki.

"Class, this is our new classmate," the sensei announced. "For personal reasons, she has moved to our village. Please be kind to her."

The sensei then gestured for Kushina to introduce herself. "You can mention what you like and dislike, and your dream if you're unsure what to say."

She nodded.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Kushina Uzumaki," she said quickly, "I like fun things and sealing jutsu. I particularly dislike bitter and spicy food, and my dream is to be a powerful Kunoichi in Sealing Techniques like Mito-sama, dattebane!"

The boys didn't show much reaction to Kushina's introduction. Though they respected Mito Uzumaki, it was the Hokage they admired most and aspired to emulate.

However, the girls reacted differently, though not excessively. Many of them had no particular interest in Sealing Techniques.

Following this, the sensei encouraged a round of applause and showed Kushina to an available seat.

Once seated, Kushina exhaled a sigh of relief.

She had been extremely nervous earlier, revealing her dream so candidly and even unintentionally using 'dattebane', a phrase she had hoped to avoid mentioning.

The sensei then promptly resumed the class. The morning was dedicated to literacy lessons.

When noon arrived, Nawaki approached Kushina and invited, "Come, let's eat together."

"Yes," Kushina responded, her face brightening at Nawaki's invitation.

The other students, who had been eager to satisfy their curiosity about the new girl, dispersed when Nawaki called Kushina to join him for lunch.

Nawaki also invited Mikoto, who brought Hikari along.

Arriving at a quiet spot, Nawaki laid out a towel on the ground.

"Nawaki, didn't you say you brought a lunch box?" Mikoto inquired, holding a cloth bag with a square object inside.

"Mm," Nawaki replied with a smile, retrieving a scroll tied to his waist.

He unrolled it on the towel and formed a hand seal: "Release!"

A puff of white smoke appeared, revealing three two-tiered Tupperware containers.

As he unpacked the lunchboxes and opened one, the enticing aroma of rabbit meat stew wafted through the air.

Needless to say, all three girls' mouths watered at the sight.

"My God! How can it smell so good?" Even the usually composed Mikoto couldn't hide her astonishment.

"Haha, it smells good, right? That's why I didn't want to open it in the classroom," Nawaki chuckled.

"Is this the same rabbit meat we had yesterday, dattebane?!" Kushina mused, her memories of the previous meal making her almost daydream.

"Yes, let's eat. Although it's still hot from being sealed in the parchment, it will cool down if we wait too long," Nawaki said as he opened all the lunchboxes and distributed the food among them.

Realizing they had an extra person, he combined the contents of one container with another to make enough for everyone.

"Thank you, Nawaki..." Hikari's timid voice was barely audible.

"Don't worry about it, just enjoy it," Nawaki responded with a smile.

He was aware of the benefits of rabbit meat and wouldn't be stingy, especially with his fiancée's friend.

"Delicious, delicious~" Kushina hummed contentedly after a bite.

She had enjoyed the roasted rabbit meat, but the stew was also to her liking.

Mikoto and Hikari's reactions to the stew were similar to Kushina's, their eyes lighting up with delight.

It wasn't that they hadn't tasted good food before, but the rabbit meat was exceptional!

Seeing everyone enjoying the meal brought a smile to Nawaki's face, and he began to eat as well.

Mikoto suddenly laughed: "I also brought a lunch box, but after tasting this, I don't even feel like eating mine anymore."

Hikari felt the same way. After savoring the rabbit stew, her own lunch seemed less appealing.
