Isao Uchiha watched resentfully as Nawaki arrived.

His older brother had been demoted to Genin and faced harsh penalties for attacking a student not yet even a Genin, and for endangering others at the ninja academy by assaulting the prospective Patriarch of the Senju Clan.

The offenses were numerous, leading to months of community service as punishment. The only reason the consequences weren't more severe was that no one had been harmed in the incident. Had there been injuries, the punishment would have been much more significant.

Naturally, Nawaki faced no penalties. There was no justification for punishing him. However, Isao seemed to believe otherwise, a clear display of his folly.

"Nawaki~" Mikoto greeted him with a bright, gentle smile. "Good Morning."

"Good morning, Mikoto and Hikari," Nawaki responded, his trademark smile in place.

"Good morning, Nawaki," Hikari replied, her voice more confident than it had been months ago. After spending time with him, she had become more expressive around him.

"Good morning~" Kushina added cheerfully from behind Nawaki, her own smile radiating as she greeted them.

As they conversed, Mikoto interjected with a piece of news, "By the way, Minato graduated today. Not just him, but also Atsuko Sarutobi and Kohaku. They've become a team, led by Jiraiya."

Nawaki's reaction was subdued. "Oh." He had gained considerable insight recently through his use of shadow clones in dark mist mode.

When the sensei entered the classroom, the students resumed their seats. With the space beside Nawaki now vacant, Kushina, wearing a mischievous smile, chose to sit next to him. Previously, it had been Atsuko Sarutobi who sat there.

As expected, the students began inquiring about Minato, Atsuko, and Kohaku as soon as the sensei settled in.

"All three are excellent ninjas and were recommended for early graduation," the sensei announced, visibly pleased. "The Hokage acknowledged my efforts in training them and decided they were ready for advanced training. Try to keep up, okay?"

The sensei's smug look elicited some eye rolls and muttered disapproval.

However, many students were skeptical, particularly about Minato, who had never shown exceptional ninja skills. Atsuko, ranking in the top five of the class, and Kohaku, one of the strongest girls, were more understandable choices.

But Minato's inclusion raised doubts.

As this discussion unfolded, Nawaki engaged in conversation with Kushina, contemplating the past few months.

During this time, Nawaki had deployed shadow clones in dark mist mode to gather intelligence on other villages. His strength had grown so significantly that he was able to maintain over 400 shadow clones simultaneously.

In each of the main villages, Nawaki had deployed approximately 50 shadow clones, uncovering numerous findings.

One particularly intriguing incident occurred near the Hidden Rain Village. Nawaki stumbled upon a humanoid figure, unique in appearance, resembling a carnivorous plant. This being had extensions that enveloped its head and upper body like a shield. Beneath these, the figure was dark-skinned, possessed a single eye, and had short green hair.

In a curious turn of events, this being encountered a boy who appeared to be from the Uzumaki Clan. Nawaki witnessed the creature place the boy under a genjutsu and implant a pair of eyes into him.

Nawaki attempted to track this humanoid afterward, but it vanished into the earth, eluding further observation.

Consequently, Nawaki shifted his focus to the red-haired boy. Intriguingly, the boy's eye color remained unchanged despite the implantation of striped purple eyes. Nawaki couldn't discern why there was no visible alteration.

He periodically switched clones to keep tabs on the boy, but nothing out of the ordinary had occurred since.

Moreover, Nawaki encountered this same humanoid figure five additional times. Each of these encounters involved the figure orchestrating the destruction of the Village Hidden in the Whirlpool, targeting the Uzumaki Clan specifically.

This revelation disturbed Nawaki, particularly the complicity of other villages, stirring feelings of anger towards them.

'Why does this dark humanoid seek the destruction of the Hidden Whirlpool Village and the Uzumaki Clan?' Nawaki pondered, still unclear about the creature's motives.

Despite several attempts to follow the humanoid, Nawaki consistently lost its trail, unable to uncover more about its mysterious agenda.

The situation worsened when Nawaki learned that the main villages were developing plans against the Hidden Swirl Village. Their hesitation stemmed from the fear of Mito Uzumaki, but a leak suggested that Mito was nearing the end of her life and would soon transfer the Nine-Tails to a young Uzumaki girl residing in the Senju Complex.

Nawaki's fury was palpable upon discovering this information being shared among these villages.

Who could be divulging such sensitive details to the enemy?

He had a suspicion and began to keep a close eye on the Hokage and Danzo Shimura, the founder of Root, a clandestine division within the Leaf Village.

The extent of Danzo's actions shocked Nawaki. He couldn't comprehend how the Hokage could tolerate such a man in the village, much less his continued scheming. Nawaki's disappointment in the Third Hokage grew. He understood the Hokage's obsession with control, but to overlook such blatant immorality was incomprehensible.

Ignoring these actions didn't erase their existence. And what about the much-vaunted Will of Fire the Hokage often spoke of, embodying the values of love, belief, and commitment to the village's welfare? How could such dishonorable methods align with these ideals? Was this the true nature of the Will of Fire he so often preached?

Nawaki's remaining faith in the Third Hokage crumbled. A leader blind to such corruption was unfit to protect those under his care.

Determined, Nawaki kept shadow clones monitoring both the Third Hokage and Danzo. He resolved to intervene if either plotted against his family or friends. While he wasn't yet strong enough to confront Danzo directly, he could handle those under Danzo's command. And if Danzo himself became involved, Nawaki trusted his sister to handle him.
