It was August 9th, the morning of Nawaki's 12th birthday, and he woke up early, filled with excitement for the day ahead.

Nawaki's birthday celebration was an intimate affair, attended only by a few people close to him. He preferred a small, memorable gathering over a grand celebration. Those in attendance were Tsunade, Mito, Kushina, Mikoto, and Hikari.

The menu featured roast rabbit and sheep meat, along with various other meat-based dishes.

To Nawaki's delight, Kushina, Mikoto, and Hikari surprised him with a large, homemade cake. Although he had anticipated it, he pretended to be surprised.

"Thank you all for doing this for me and for being here on this special day, sharing it with me!" Nawaki expressed his gratitude, raising his glass in a toast.

"A toast!" echoed everyone, lifting their glasses to join in the celebration.

The gift-giving followed. Kushina presented Nawaki with a hand-knitted white scarf.

"Wow, I didn't expect such a skilled handcrafted gift from you. Thank you~" Nawaki said, gracing her with his signature smile.

Kushina, a bit flushed by his compliment, had Band-aids on her fingers, a testament to the effort she had put into the scarf. "You're welcome dattebane..." she replied shyly.

Hikari's gift to Nawaki was a custom-designed jacket, black with orange accents on the sides, featuring the Senju symbol on the back and the Uzumaki emblem on the shoulders.

"Oh? It turned out really good," Mito complimented the jacket.

"Isn't it?" Nawaki agreed, clearly pleased with the gift.

He hadn't anticipated receiving such a unique jacket and was genuinely impressed by it. Trying it on immediately in front of Hikari, he asked with his usual charming smile, "How do I look? Cool?"

"Y-Yes, it looks really good on y-you, Nawaki." Hikari, taken aback by his immediate donning of the jacket and his direct question, stuttered and blushed.

Despite her shyness and embarrassment, Hikari felt a sweet happiness in her heart.

Mikoto was next to present her gift.

Upon unwrapping it and discerning the shape of a sword within its scabbard, Nawaki drew it out to reveal a striking red and black Tang sword. It bore some resemblance to a kunai, complete with a ring suitable for an adult finger.

"I hope this sword helps you walk the path you desire and achieve all your dreams~" Mikoto said, her smile warm and sincere.

Nawaki grasped the sword, swinging it experimentally. For dramatic effect, he invoked the divine art of wind, creating a wind blade that extended from the sword and sliced a deep cut into the ground in the distance, within the courtyard.

"Wow!"

The three younger girls, Kushina, Hikari, and Mikoto, exclaimed in unison, clearly impressed by the display.

Tsunade observed Nawaki's show of skill but chose not to remark on it.

'No wonder these girls are so taken with him. If I were their age, I...' Mito mused with a small smile, then shook her head lightly.

"I really like it, thank you, Mikoto~" Nawaki expressed his gratitude, his smile genuine, as he sheathed the sword.

Then it was Mito's turn to give her gift. She handed him a book, explaining, "This contains most of the Uzumaki Clan's sealing techniques. I've also included my insights on each technique. I hope you work hard and manage to master at least half of it."

The book was notably thick, suggesting a comprehensive compilation of techniques, along with Mito's detailed explanations. It was clearly a valuable resource, and Nawaki was deeply appreciative.

"Thank you, Grandma Mito, I love it~" Nawaki beamed, expressing his thanks with a kiss on her cheek. He hugged the book close to his chest, his grin wide.

Mito chuckled softly, pleased with his reaction. She hoped his evident enthusiasm would translate into diligent study and mastery of the Uzumaki clan's techniques, which would be beneficial for the times when she wouldn't be around.

Hikari, witnessing Nawaki's affectionate gesture towards Mito, found her mind drifting back to the moment two days ago...

It was now Tsunade's turn to present her gift. She handed Nawaki a small 15 cm wooden box.

Nawaki accepted it with curiosity and opened it. Inside, he found the familiar necklace that Tsunade always wore. He suddenly realized that she wasn't wearing it today.

"Are you sure about this, Sis? You seem really attached to that necklace..." Nawaki expressed his concern.

"Yes, I am," Tsunade affirmed with a smile. "This necklace was once our grandfather Hashirama's. It's made from a special 'Crystal Gem.' I hope it brings you good luck and helps you achieve all your dreams~"

"Under those circumstances, I'll gladly accept it." Nawaki smiled, his eyes closed in appreciation. "Thank you, Sis, I really love it~"

"Mm, let me put it on you," Tsunade offered, taking the necklace in her hands.

Nawaki slightly bent down, having grown a bit taller than Tsunade, and she carefully placed the necklace around his neck, finishing with a kiss on his forehead. "There, it looks perfect on you~"

The rest of the day was filled with joyous celebration. They ate, danced, and sang, thoroughly enjoying the festive atmosphere.

The day gradually drew to a close as late afternoon faded into evening, and the sky darkened.

Despite having grown accustomed to the magical beast meat from the hunting dimension, both Mikoto and Hikari needed to use the restroom before they headed back home, likely due to the abundance of food they had consumed during Nawaki's birthday celebration.

Later that day, after completing his session in the Hunting Dimension, Nawaki opened his eyes, a satisfied smile on his face. He had achieved many positive outcomes, despite some challenging encounters with the bosses on the second map.

'Why are there six bosses on the second map?' Nawaki pondered internally. The first map had only one boss, but the second had six, a significant increase. He wondered how many bosses a potential third map might have. However, he realized this was not an immediate concern.

With his current level of strength, defeating the bosses on the second map was beyond his capabilities. They were faster, stronger, and significantly more intelligent than the other magical beasts. Even with 500 shadow clones, victory against one of these bosses was not guaranteed.

For now, Nawaki preferred to focus on collecting orbs and enhancing his strength. He planned to confront the bosses only after the orbs' effectiveness started to diminish, similar to what happened on the first map.

His thoughts were interrupted as he shifted from a happy to a serious expression. Tsunade, as usual, was nearby when he opened his eyes.

Turning to Tsunade, Nawaki asked seriously, "Sis, did Great-Uncle Tobirama have a lost daughter or something?"

"What?" Tsunade was taken aback by his question. "How could that be? It was said that Gin lost her life with her unborn child during the first ninja war..."
