Nawaki was over the moon.

He had uncovered the ultimate cheat. Admittedly, he harbored little hope when he first conceived the idea.

Creating shadow clones for monster slaying and orb harvesting seemed like an unattainable dream. Although a clone was a part of him, Nawaki hypothesized that upon its creation, it became an independent entity in that realm... He hadn't yet named that place, temporarily calling it the hunting dimension.

Reflecting on his discovery, he hadn't anticipated that when his clone perished, it would still yield red orbs. It made sense, as the clone was an extension of his power, but the abundance of orbs harvested from the clone's demise was unexpected.

Indeed, it was a significant breakthrough, especially now as he grew stronger and could produce more shadow clones.

"I may not reach the point of creating a thousand shadow clones, but if I can manage ten without overexerting myself, my hunting in this dimension will multiply exponentially," he thought, his eyes twinkling.

However, it wasn't without flaws. The shadow clone, while offensively potent, was defensively fragile. Thus, the optimal strategy involved at least two shadow clones working together. If one perished, the other could collect the orbs.

With this strategy in mind, he continued hunting rabbits with two shadow clones.

Meanwhile, Nawaki's main body sensed an approaching presence.

"Damn, not even a wolf would be that tall!" Nawaki cursed his luck at encountering such a creature.

Resolved to fight, he sharpened his focus. Chakra swirled in his stomach, preparing for attack. A faint white glow enveloped his body, signaling battle readiness.

Upon spotting a 150 cm tall green wolf, Nawaki felt a surge of fear but was more determined to attack.

"Wind Style: Great Breach!"

His attack, significantly amplified, was now six times more potent.

Yet, victory was not assured. The giant green wolf adeptly dodged.

"What?" Surprised, Nawaki hadn't expected such swift reaction time from the wolf.

Forming hand seals, he summoned two more shadow clones.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Two clones materialized beside him.

The wolf eyed them warily.

Nawaki performed the seals: Bird, Rabbit, Horse, and Goat. With a wave of his hand, he created multiple wind blades that merged into a larger, singular blade.

"Go," he commanded the clones, waiting for the right moment to unleash his jutsu.

As a spring-like sound followed by a smokescreen indicated the vanishing of one of his shadow clones, Nawaki realized the giant green wolf had launched a wind blade at it.

Realizing he couldn't delay any longer, Nawaki attacked!

"Fuuton - Tsuyoi Kaze Nami!"

"Whoosh!"

The wind blade he created was even faster than his previous attack, hurtling towards the large green wolf at an astonishing speed.

"ROARR!"

The wolf roared, leaping to the side in an attempt to dodge, unaware of the predatory smile curving Nawaki's lips.

Without uttering a word or a triumphant shout like 'Die!', one of his shadow clones, returning from a rabbit hunt, ambushed the wolf mid-leap.

"POW!"

"BOOM!"

The chakra-infused punch from the shadow clone, though a weaker version of his beloved older sister's technique, was still formidable, propelling the wolf more than 10 meters away.

"ROARRR!"

Despite being wounded, with blood trickling from its mouth, the attack wasn't fatal for the wolf. Its roar, eyes blazing green with fury, signaled its readiness to unleash powerful wind blades.

Nawaki's heart raced. "Shit!" He cursed as his shadow clones failed to dodge the assault and vanished one after the other.

Rumble! Rumble! Rumble!

He narrowly escaped using the substitution jutsu.

Though his chakra pool had increased, the simultaneous use of four shadow clones had significantly depleted it.

Forming a hand seal, he created two more shadow clones.

Benefitting from the experiences of his previous clones, Nawaki devised a better strategy against the large green wolf.

'I'm almost certain it was this creature or one of its kin that killed me before!' After encountering the wolf's wind blades, he recalled a similar attack that had previously defeated him.

He used the shadow clones to distract the powerful wolf.

Fortunately, while one clone vanished under the wolf's wind blade, the other successfully grasped the wolf's neck. "Quick!" He shouted.

"Fuuton - Tsuyoi Kaze Nami!"

Channeling even more chakra, he unleashed a potent wind blade.

"BOOM!"

A smokescreen erupted as the attack struck the wolf, also annihilating the intervening shadow clone.

Breathing heavily, Nawaki remained on high alert, uncertain if the wolf was defeated.

As the smokescreen cleared, a bloodied, large green wolf emerged into view.

Realizing the wolf was preparing to launch more wind blades, Nawaki acted swiftly, charging towards it.

Dodging a weaker wind blade, he confronted the wolf head-on.

"POW! POW! POW!"

With fists clenched, he relentlessly pummeled the large green wolf.

The sound of flesh being battered echoed.

The large green wolf roared in helplessness and pain, unable to escape, inching ever closer to death.

Nawaki, unwavering, continued his assault on the wolf. He vowed not to stop until it disintegrated!

"Die! Die! Die!" He had lost track of the number of punches he had delivered.

The wolf's vitality was astonishing!

Exhausted, Nawaki mustered almost all his remaining strength for the next blow.

The force of the punch shattered the wolf's defenses. A chilling sound of bones breaking emanated from the wolf as it coughed up blood and fragments of internal organs.

"ROAR!"

With a final roar, the wolf's eyes glazed over, and it quickly turned gray.

"Whew~!" Nawaki let out a long, weary sigh.

He doubted he could have sustained the fight much longer.

"That's..." He noticed something different from when he had slain the rabbits.

Four orbs, emitting a deeper red light and pulsing with potent energy, appeared. They seemed like evolved versions of the dimmer red orbs.

Additionally, there were two orbs the size of pistachios, glowing purple. It was his first encounter with such orbs.

There was also an unusual orb with a transparent shell, encasing a bright green light.

Nawaki secured the glass orb in his mental dimension and collected the other orbs, planning to examine these unique items later.

'I need to rest,' he thought, breathlessly sitting on the grass.

Just as he rose, intending to find a safer place to recuperate, his vision darkened. When it cleared, he was back in his room.

Nawaki: "???"

Was there a time limit for staying in that dimension?

He had fortunately hunted many rabbits with his shadow clones and defeated a formidable foe, yielding previously unseen orbs.

From the rabbits, he had gathered a total of 53 red orbs. 'Hehe, I'll give half to my sister; she'll be thrilled.'

If she didn't return, he resolved to use the orbs to strengthen himself and collect more.

'Anyway, I want to test these different orbs, but cautiously, one at a time,' Nawaki pondered.

Sweaty and wary of potential odors, he decided to start with the first few orbs.

He closed his eyes, contemplating the small dimension within his mind, now realizing it seemed larger than before.

Within the dimension, he could see the 53 faint red orbs, along with four orbs of a deeper red light, two pistachio-sized purple orbs, and a unique glass orb.

Choosing a purple orb first, Nawaki felt a bit apprehensive. After all, he was unsure of its effect.

Strengthening his resolve, he began his experiment.

Closing his eyes, Nawaki used his chakra. To his surprise, the purple orb transformed into a cool energy that entered his forehead, slightly enhancing his mental power.

This development left him in shock.

The boost in mental power was significant. His mental strength was already formidable due to the merging of his soul with a previous one. Yet, he noticed a marked increase after using the purple orb. An ordinary person's mental power would have increased substantially!

Following this infusion of cool energy, his mind felt exceptionally clear.

Nawaki focused on refining his shadow clone jutsu, identifying and rectifying its flaws.

Once the sensation of coolness dissipated, he realized his shadow clone jutsu had improved significantly. Another experience like this, he thought, might lead to mastery.

Containing his excitement, Nawaki acknowledged the potential benefits of perfecting the shadow clone jutsu. His proficiency with the technique had noticeably advanced.

After settling down from his shadow clone tests, Nawaki turned his attention to the glass orb.

Handling the glass orb, he felt a breeze and sensed air currents interacting with his hand, as if he were containing the wind.

Curious about its properties, he decided the best approach was direct experimentation.

Without hesitation, Nawaki consumed the glass orb as he had done with the others.

It dissolved into an energy that surged through his body, carrying a green wind. This energy diffused slowly, like ink in water, spreading throughout his body.

His mind was flooded with various thoughts and impulses, offering glimpses of understanding yet not fully comprehensible. It was akin to wind style, but distinct.

Suddenly, Nawaki grabbed the last faint purple orb and ingested it quickly, then closed his eyes again.

This time, his mind was lucid, and he managed to assimilate the surge of thoughts and impulses.

Nawaki felt as if his mind had become a gust of wind, blending seamlessly with the air. He sensed the intangible nature of the wind.

In the dark room, he sat on his bed, a faint green light tracing over his body. A careful observer would notice a gentle breeze enc

ircling him.

Even after the effects of the purple orb had subsided, his understanding persisted.

Four hours later, Nawaki reopened his eyes.

His expression was serene, and a green flicker could be seen in his pupils.

A few minutes passed before his mouth twitched involuntarily, betraying his inability to control his expression.

It seemed he had acquired an incredible ability.

Without the need for hand seals, Nawaki simply extended his hand and the wind enveloped it. The wind had become an extension of himself, and he could control it naturally.

With just a thought, the wind intensified.

However, his control over the wind was still limited due to his lack of experience.

'Maybe if I had more of those purple orbs...' he thought, feeling a tinge of regret, but it wasn't enough to dishearten him. After all, he had achieved something extraordinary.

He could manipulate the wind with a mere hand gesture. Unlike his previous wind attacks, this new ability felt more intrinsic, like a part of him.

Excitedly experimenting with his newfound control over the wind, Nawaki eventually stopped when he heard footsteps.

Instantly alert, he found it suspicious that someone would be approaching at such a late hour.

With the wind still swirling in his hand, Nawaki cautiously opened the bedroom door. Recognizing his sister, he exhaled in relief.

"Sis." He greeted her warmly, dissipating the wind from his hand.

"Nawaki," she expressed surprise at seeing him awake. "It's so late, couldn't you sleep?"

"It's not that," he replied, shaking his head with a smile. "Something amazing happened. Remember what you wanted to know before? I think I have some answers now."

"Really?" Tsunade's voice conveyed her astonishment as she quickly approached him.

"Yes, would you like to come in and listen?" Nawaki suggested, then noticed her dirty and torn jonin outfit. "Maybe you should take a shower first?"

"Yes, I really need one," she agreed, mentioning the difficulty of her mission.

Nawaki then offered, "Sis, you must be tired. How about I help you with your shower again?"

Taken aback for a moment, she laughed and accepted: "Clever boy~ Okay, I'll take you up on that offer~"

Nawaki, surprised by her agreement, hesitated with his next words.

She walked past him into the room, prompting, "What are you waiting for?"
