"──"

"I wish I were strong and could become like them!"

"Indeed, the matches are truly intense."

"──"

"Bloody Battle. Huhuufufu."

"Hey, stop. Your laugh is too ominous."

"Don't be so mean! Aren't we friends?!"

"──"

While the students were engrossed in discussing their recent match, the disruptive behavior of some students prompted the professors to resort to using the flag of the Victoria Academy in order to restore peace.

"......"

As a result, the students went quiet altogether.

The flag, positioned horizontally, features a silver laurel wreath at its center, encompassing a gold crown which signifies the legacy of the institution.

These elements are set against a white backdrop.

The flag design also symbolizes the heirloom.

After the match between Sena and Eria, they both disappeared from the Arena.

The grounds were automatically restored to their original state due to the power of the heirloom of the Victoria Academy

The heirloom possesses several magical abilities, such as a 'safety shield' magic and a 'detector' magic.

Additionally, there is a 'repetition' magic that repairs any damages inflicted on the area.

For instance, if an area is destroyed, this magic automatically fixes it, returning it to its previous state.

The heirloom is responsible for the restoration of everything that was destroyed.

Furthermore, there is a 'highlight' magic specifically designed for the Victoria Academy area, not the entire continent.

It illuminates the area, even during the night, without the need for artificial lighting, like a lantern.

The 'highlight' magic is also connected to other magical, such as 'magic hearing' and 'zoom magic'.

All the essential features of the continent, such as an imperceptible safety shield for the students, are reserved to guard against potential dangers, particularly any attacks on students of the Victoria Academy.

The shield functions to protect them as long as they remain within its designated area.

Additionally, there are detectors in place to alert the faculty to any unauthorized entrance to the continent.

The most proficient professors are automatically notified and prepared to apprehend the intruders, though their response may be contingent upon the individual's status.

If the trespasser is identified as a student of the Victoria Academy through the detector's registration system, they will be allowed to go free.

All of these magical powers are interlinked with the heirloom of the Victoria Academy, which is the key to making everything function.

Suddenly, two individuals teleported to the center once again, and their true forms were concealed.

Some of the students in the rankings had positioned themselves in the top tower alongside the professors, while others were conversing with their parents.

"The previous match was exceedingly overwhelming and intense, leading us to exit the Arena," Aspena conveyed to Avery in close proximity, while resting her chin on her hand and sighing.

"You appear composed. Do you think you will win?" Avery inquired, perceiving Aspena's lack of preparedness.

"Oh, my. You were the one who issued the challenge to me, and I have done nothing, thus I remain calm. By the way, I am curious as to the motive behind this invitation for a match. Could it be that both the Elf and Lamia races were adversaries in history?" Aspena mused.

"Correct, well deduced. However, the Elf and Lamia are no longer enemies; their descendants have made efforts to maintain peace. The reason I confronted you is because I recalled the history between Lamia and Elf," Avery responded, with both of them standing upright, gazing at each other with neutral expressions.

"Ahahahaha!"

Amidst Aspena's sudden laughter, Avery was taken aback.

"W-Why are you laughing?" In a nervous tone, she asked.

"It seems that you have been engrossed in the history of elves and lamias. And since I am a lamia, have you been thinking of me all this while?" Aspena chuckled and responded.

"Don't be absurd! I never think of you! I'm solely focused on history!" Embarrassed and flustered, Avery hastily denied.

"I find that hard to believe. So, when will we go out together?" Unconvinced, Aspena asked with a smile.

"..."

Avery, without replying, simply stared at Aspena, intimidating her.

The two of them locked eyes, and a hush fell over the students. The parents, donned in medieval and Renaissance attire, some even wearing robes, excitedly smiled and observed as they both talked.

"After this match, there will be a dance banquet. Why not dance with me?" Breaking the silence, Aspena suggested.

"Enough idle chatter. Let's compete to determine who is the best," Avery replied curtly, dismissing the conversation.

"I accept your challenge."

"Let us engage in combat without holding back." Ignoring her words, Avery slowly approached her, but Aspena's gaze focused on the stadium.

"As lamia and elves, we have the unique capability to wield the power of necromancy. Yet, it has come to my attention that other races are employing necromancy in an inconsistent manner. I am curious as to why the deities allow other races to utilize necromancy when it was exclusive to us," Aspena expressed her words, directing them towards the attention of the other races. She wished for them to pay heed to her message, with her arms crossed and a distinct look of disgust on her face.

"Be cautious of your words, as the students can hear you. You should be grateful that they are utilizing our abilities for the sake of their safety," Avery warned, stopping her approach towards her.

"They are mere strangers who are taking advantage of our abilities. They don't even acknowledge our presence. It is unjust, so why should I be happy about it?"

"If the deities had not bestowed the mystical power upon us, they would not be able to use our abilities. Their usage of our power is a result of the deities' grant. Thus, you are in essence committing blasphemy towards the creator," Avery stated, causing Aspena's expression to turn cold without uttering a response.
