Interrogation
I showed grandpa the car and he found it hard to believe that I was the one who made a completely functioning car that is so diffrent from the others which I couldnt really blame him for, after grandpa asked a few questions we started walking back into the house.
"James just how have you built such things the car, The phone, The AI?"
"Grandpa, I learned about it from school and libraries, found some scrap materials and built the laptop from which I created Jarvis who earned me money, using that money I brought the materials to build all if this, I believe Mom and Dad have told you about it"
"Yes they did, but that does not change the fact that this is still unbelievable"
Grandpa was showing a slight sense of excitement and shock, This brought out a feeling of Accomplishment inside of me and also this was amplified by the fact that this came FROM Grandpa Jay.
We walked into the Mansion and looked at the living Room where Wednesday seemed to be sitting on one side of the sofa while Mom and Hayley were sat opposite of her, the TV was switched of and they were just staring at eachother quietly.
Me and grandpa saw what was happening and just stopped and we both knew that it wouldnt end well for us if we interrupted now, so we did the smart thing and just watched from afar.
(Wednesday Pov)
"So Wednesday, How did you meet James, I have never seen you in our school before or even around our area"
James's sister asked me and I was wondering whether I should tell the truth.
"He had visited the school I was going to and we met there"
I decided to strategically leave out the circumstances and other things out.
"Oh that is intresting and this must be the current school he transferred to am I right?"
James's mother sounded as if she was on the verge of discovering something secret lie, propably due to how far Nevermore Is so she must be thinking that there no chance James would go to such a far school.
"No, Its not the current school, its a school not to far away from, I believe a 10 minute drive"
James's mother seemed to have been dissatisfied at not being able to find out anything wrong with my story.
I decided to however leave out the part that it would take 10 minutes with James driving at the speed he drives at usually.
I still find it amazing how he has never managed to crash, the sharp turns he takes sometimes at really high speed are something unbelievable.
If you were Sitting in the car with your eyes closed it will feel like a normal turn but in reality a super sharp turn at high speeds was taken instead of the normal turn you felt.
"Oh okay, Now... What is your deal?"
Hayley clasped her hands looking at me really seriously.
"Hayley! That's not how you speak to people!"
James's mother smacked Hayley in back softly but didnt say much and looked at me, wondering herself as to what my "Deal" was this must be due to my lack of Blinking which I find unnecessary and blinking leaves that small time frame where I can easily miss an attack and die all of it which could be avoided if I didnt blink or it could be what my "Deal" is with James.
I noticed from the corner of my eyes James and his grandpa hearing in on our conversation rather he was even recording it.
He truly likes that Phone huh... That Picture he had once taken must still be on there, Shame if his phone were to mysteriously get destroyed...
I looked slightly at James and looked back at Hayley and decided to tell them with absolute seriousness, even more than usual what my "Deal" was.
"I Love Him"
When I said that a dumbfounded look appeared on his mothers face and Hayley was looking super stunned.
I am a straight forward person, I wont suger coat my words like people usually do, rather I find it disgusting how people try to pretend to be good people by suger coating what they are saying and not say things while also saying it, I find that people who do that are usually Hypocrites and I have learned to not associate with those kinds of people at all costs.
"Umm... uh okay let's go back to the backyard I think Grandpa and James done looking at the car and they must be in the backyard already"
James's mother still looked really stunned, to which I couldnt blame her as for Hayley she had a smirk on her face which i failed to understand the reason behind it.
We all stood up and started walking towards backyard not before i shot a look towards James who was recording and he seemed to notice me looking at him so he quickly put the phone in his pocket and looked around as if he was doing nothing.
I ignored him and walked towards the Backyard following James's Mother and his sister.
In the Backyard Hayley took the lead in introducing me to James's two Uncles, they were really friendly but I could just sense a ton of insecurities they both were hiding and there was his Father who got even more friendly while talking to me after James's mother had told him what I had said in the room and there was also Gloria whom i remember married James's Grandfather recently who i was also introduced to.
She didnt seem to be able to speak fluent English and was adding words of Spanish and was having difficulties speaking English so I decided to speak in Spanish with her.
She seemed to have formed an instant Bond with me when i started speaking in Spanish which i now regretted.
As I was speaking with Gloria who seemed like she was never stop talking I noticed James's Mother going inside the Mansion.
So I quickly wrapped up the conversation and looked around for one last time.
There was his brother Luke who was playing... no more like annoying Gloria's Son Manny and spraying him with a water Gun.
I looked over at Alex who seemed to be doing nothing and looked rather lost in her thoughts I remember how Alex was previously but now she looked so much more diffrent, she seemed to have lost a significant amount of weight yet no one seemed to worry about that which confused me as normally in such a family like this they must be worried as to why there daughter had lost so much weight in such a short time compared to how she was at the Wedding, Yet they dont seem concerned at all.
She was much skinnier than before and since I was not a person who likes being in the company of other people with exceptions such as James I didnt go up to Alex and talk to her but rather i followed James's mother who had left the back doors open which i crossed through without much noise and headed inside.
