"I Love him"
When I heard that, I was shocked, I could not believe what I was hearing.
This girl who is the same age as James can so confidently and seriously say something like that straight to his Mother, I dont even know what to think of.
Its stunning how someone her age can say this with full seriousness with a completely straight face .
I could also pass it of as "they are young" or "they will grow up" but she for sime reason is giving a absolutely serious feeling to me which I cant even explain how she is doing that.
The Atmosphere here is now beggining to get awkward so I decided to go to the Backyard to clear up some of this awkwardness.
"Umm... okay let's go back to the backyard I think Grandpa and James are done looking at the car and they must be in the backyard already"
I walked into the backyard not knowing what to think of this, I should first Ask James what he thinks before I continue with my thinking.
I know I have a tendency of getting carried away in things but this... This is not Just something if these two are really serious about this then Phil and I must give them there own time and see where it goes as they grow up
Wednesday seems like a person who understands her own emotions and doesnt get carried away as for James, Well till now he hasn't dated anyone properly and I know what kind of person he is to women in his school.
So I want to find out what James thinks about all this.
But how can I find out what James truly thinks about Wednesday?
Ah ha! that's right a Test
I entered the backyard excitedly at the idea and headed straight to Phill who I told about what Wednesday told me, I decided to first have a test ready in my mind before saying anything to Phill and making it official in a sense, so for now i didnt tell him about my Test Idea.
What I noticed next was how much more friendly and trusting Phill was when talking to Wednesday.
It was almost like he already accepted her as his daughter but... If he has trust in there decisions like this then... what kind of a mother am I, who doesn't even trust her own kid enough to just ask him.

That's right instead of doing all of these tests I should just ask James and trust him and see what happens as they grow up, I cant believe I had almost gotten carried away even though I said I wont.
I saw how Wednesday was speaking with Gloria in fluent Spanish which I found to be amazing as I had never expected Wednesday to be able to speak Spanish so fluently.
I Headed inside the House where I saw James and dad sat on the couch happily talking about something about a Buisness?
I would usually try to find out what they were talking about and why Dad was being so friendly to James but that was just how Dad was to James, he was though on everyone but so much less harsh on James compared to anyone, which kind of makes even me feel jealous sometimes.
I walked up to the couch and looked towards Dad who looked at me "What is It?" He asked me and I looked at him seriously "I need to speak to James Alone"
"Why? is it about that girl? You know we heard what she said"
"You were seeing everything!"
"Yes"
"..."
"Sigh, Dad please can I talk to James for a bit"
"Haha sure I'm in a good mood I'll get out of here, Someone needs to get started on the cooking afterall, James we will talk about it later"
"Sure Grandpa"
James said goodbye to Dad while Dad left the couch and I sat down on it and stared at James Seriously.
"James..."
"I know mom I saw and heard everything... That includes her saying she loves me"
"James, Do you?"
"Hmm... Let me think" James put on a thinking face which was just like inviting me to get angry at him as he was clearly teasing me.
"Mom" all of a sudden his mannerisms changed and he started giving of the feeling of really serious person.
"I do love her, it was just me liking her at the beggining but I seemed to have fallen for her as we spent more time together so I decided to build up the courage and just ask her to date me and... it went well"
(Wednesday Pov)
I had just entered the room and was walking deeper towards the living room as quietly as possible when suddenly James's Grandpa Startled me by exiting the living room suddenly.
He looked towards me and then quietly turned back to Look at James whose mother was walking to sit infront of him.
James's Grandpa simply mouthed, 'Its only fair' and walked away to the Backdoor and entered the Backyard.
I walked up closer to the wall besides the entrance of the living room and I could easily hear what was being talked about thanks to my trained ears.
"James..."
"I know mom I saw and heard everything... That includes her saying she loves me"
"James, Do you?"
I listened closely as I to wanted to know what he really thinks afterall anyone can Lie.
"Hmm... Let me think"
He did not seem serious about this matter at all, rather he looked playfull which made a bad feeling arise in my chest.
I put my hands on my chest and remembered why I had started putting walls up around everyone... It was to avoid pain such as this, yet ...
I looked over at James who was doing a playfull comedic action but suddenly he grew extremely serious, his entire demeanor shifted from being a non serious and rather playfull person straight to being some one as serious as Hard rock (Dude I dont know I didnt have a saying, Just allow it man)
"I do love her, it was just me liking her at the beggining but I seemed to have fallen for her as we spent more time together so I decided to build up the courage and just ask her to date me and... it went well"
He spoke with a happy small smile on his face.
[Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, Also I'm considering starting a Got Fanfic with something along the lines of the Mc having Haki, still just a thought For now however but would you guys read it?]
