I was outside, in an open space under the fake sky of Hueco Mundo, having a picnic under a big parasol, trying to chill out for a few hours after my stressful day.

Cirucci held out the sausage to me and tried to feed me ‘gently’.

"Try it.” she commanded, as she almost smeared the sausage in my teeth.

I took a bite of it anyway. I was never one to waste food.

"It's good." I said, trying to diffuse the situation.

She huffed, clearly still upset with me. "You could have at least told me that you and that pink bastard were spying on me." She retorted, her voice sharp.

"I've already apologized," I reminded her, hoping to ease her frustration.

Unexpectedly, Cirucci's tone softened as she uttered words that caught me off guard.

“I sometimes wonder if you truly love me.” She confessed, momentarily revealing a vulnerability beneath her usual confidence.

“Of course I do.” Without hesitation, I responded with confidence. “Don’t be silly.”

For a moment, Cirucci seemed taken aback by my response. Sensing an opportunity to change the mood, I suggested to continue eating.

"You should eat too. After all, we don't get the chance to taste the food from soul society everyday.” I told her.

She fluttered her eyes at that, acting spoiled. “Then, you should feed me.” Her hand squeezed my arm rather hard at that, bringing it to the food.

"Fine." I conceded, grabbing another sausage. "But don't get too excited."

I was about to feed her when a screeching sound resounded through Las Noches. Like an old megaphone working again after years of disuse.

I dropped the sausage on Cirucci’s lap, staining her white dress with the sauce we had used on the sausage.

As the sausage fell onto her lap and stained her dress, Cirucci's eyes narrowed with anger. She shot up from her seat, her whip already in her hand.

"Who dares to ruin our happy day?" She growled, her tone sharp and full of irritation.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I could see a blue light projecting on one of the biggest buildings around.

“There.” I called out Cirucci, pointing at the projection I now identified as the pink haired Szayelaporro Granz.

His smile was as smug as ever as his image became clearer.

Cirucci's expression darkened even further. "That fool never knows when to stop causing trouble.” Cirucci exclaimed as she also recognized Granz.

“Yeah, he always finds ways to mess up with others.” I agreed, running my hand through my hair in frustration.

"Good day, my loyal arrancars." He began in a tone that grated on my nerves. "I have a magnificent announcement to share with you all."

Hearing his voice, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread filling my guts.

I exchanged a worried glance with Cirucci. We both knew that Granz's announcements were always trouble.

"Recently, one of our esteemed Espada, Acidwire, came to me with a rather unusual request. He wanted a way to impregnate all of the female arrancars.” Granz’s voice sounded like a devil whisper.

"That madman!” Cirucci and I both shouted at the same time, our voices synchronizing.

Granz continued. "In my infinite wisdom, I have devised a solution to this problem. I have designed artificial wombs, which will enable our arrancar women to bear children."

Granz continued despite my dread.

"Well, if any of you are interested in this endeavor, please contact Acidwire for further details. Until next time, my dear arrancars."

Granz's image began to fade out as he concluded his announcement.

As soon as the madman’s short speech was finished, I felt the atmosphere change. The previously calm and peaceful surroundings were now filled with tension and hostility.

I could sense spiritual pressures flaring all around Las Noches, and I knew I was in trouble. I recognized a few of them, like Mila Rose and Apacci.

I took a deep breath and braced myself for the harshest punishment of all: facing the wrath of an angry and confused crowd of people.

Aonte There is no way the other arrancars would allow Acidwire to earn popularity among the ranks of the arrancars that easily.

Omake: Awkward explanation (2)

Charlotte Chuhlhourne fidgeted in Acidwire's office.

"So you're saying that you won't give me a child." She repeated for the tenth time.

Acidwire brought a hand to his temple and rubbed it wearily. "No, I already told you, it was just Granz messing with me."

Charlotte pouted. "That's such a shame."

Cirucci, who had been sitting on a nearby sofa, groaned tiredly. She had been listening to women's complaints and requests all day and was thoroughly exhausted.

"Charlotte, as I explained earlier, you just need to donate your blood and spiritual energy, as well as that of another arrancar." Acidwire said.

"But think about it, our children would be so precocious." Charlotte said, ignoring Acidwire's words.

Acidwire and Cirucci exchanged exasperated looks. This was the eleventh time Charlotte had made the same argument.

"Charlotte, I think it's time for you to go." Cirucci said firmly, standing up from the sofa.

Charlotte pouted again, but finally got up from her seat and made her way to the door.

As soon as she was gone, Acidwire and Cirucci let out a collective sigh of relief. "Thank god that's over." Cirucci muttered.

Acidwire nodded in agreement. "I want to forget this day forever."
