Chapter 40

I stood in front of two crystal domes. They were some kind of weird contraptions that were provided by Granz.

He had sent his round assistants to deliver them a few hours ago, along with detailed notes for maintenance and the prices for the nutrients necessary that he was going to provide.

“Children huh.” I muttered happily, thinking of the arrancar children who would soon be born in Hueco Mundo.

According to the mad scientist, arrancar children would be born after a week incubating inside and they would be aged from 3 to 7 years upon birth. Anything outside of that age would degrade if brought outside the machine. It seemed to be a special case for our race.

However, that was not important. Today was a good day. Aizen and his cronies were off meddling with Soul Society, out of my way.

I scoffed.

Aizen couldn’t avoid doing menial tasks like brainwashing an obsessive researcher from Kurotsuchi's mad house personally to capture Rukia.

I couldn't help but feel a twinge of melancholy at the thought of these happy days ending once Aizen betrayed Soul Society and came to rule over Hueco Mundo until the war started.

As I pondered the end of these peaceful days, I heard the door behind me creak open. Through the reflection of the round domes, I could see the green haired Cyan Sung-sun and the purple haired Cirucci.

"You seem to be in high spirits.” Cirucci remarked.

“Yes, it seems.” I shrugged, unsure of how to respond. “Things are going well and Aizen is off meddling in Soul Society.”

Sung-sun shifted nervously, hiding a rare smile behind her sleeve. "Now that the misunderstanding regarding the children has been cleared up, I think it's a good time to talk."

I raised an eyebrow, already knowing what was coming but not believing it. "About what?"

"The artificial wombs that were delivered here." Cirucci chimed in, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger. Her usual ferocious grin was nowhere to be seen. "We were the ones who ordered them."

“We have wanted to talk about having children with you ever since you proposed this plan.” Sung-sun said, her voice barely above a whisper as she hid her face behind her sleeve.

Cirucci scoffed at her, but I could see a glint of longing in her eyes. It was a rare moment of vulnerability from both of them.

“We know that you care deeply for your sister and you are always busy thinking of ways to become stronger.” Cirucci said, speaking quickly. "But we can't help but feel a desire to start a family of our own."

Sung-sun cut in, her voice rising. "It's a shameful proposal, but we can't ignore our feelings."

“I..”

I did not know what to say. In my last life, I was plagued by panic attacks and a heart condition. The thought of bringing children into the world, only to leave them behind or worse, burden them with my health issues, weighed heavily on my mind back then.

However, looking at the petite yet fierce Cirucci with her purple markings and the lean, composed Cyan Sung-sun with her trembling hands, something shifted inside me.

For the first time in a long while, I felt a glimmer of hope.

Now I didn't need to worry about such things. I would become one of the greatest beings of this world, with enough power to protect my family.

And with that realization, I smiled.

“How about Shirahoshi and Rebecca for the children.” I finally spoke out.

It took them a moment to process what I just said, but when they did, a big smile broke into their faces.

“I love you darling.” Exclaimed Cirucci as she jumped to my right.

“You are the best.” Sung-sun was more reserved but she still hugged me tightly from my left.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud at the joyous atmosphere.

But then Sung-sun spoke up, a teasing smile on her face. "Your naming sense sucks." She said, while Cirucci went over to pinch my side, causing me to yelp in pain.

I grinned at them, feeling a sense of contentment that I hadn't felt in a long time. With these two by my side and our children on the way, I knew that I would do anything to protect them and keep them happy.

Aonte Will the mc be able to overcome his trust issues? Who knows?
I actually felt like I was breathing rainbows while writing this chapter, it is just too sweet for me.

Omake: Mexican wrestler

Don Kanonji struck a dramatic pose in front of the cameras, basking in the adoration of his fans.

"Oh yeah!" He exclaimed triumphantly.

Just a moment ago, he had discovered he was wrong about exorcizing spirits, all this time he hadn’t been helping them.

Yet, his fans needed him, especially the orange haired one with the frowning face.

But his moment of glory was short-lived as a fat Mexican wrestler barged onto the scene, spoiling for a fight.

“Take this.” The man bellowed, delivering a devastating kick to Don Kanonji's nether regions.

The fake TV presenter crumpled to the ground, writhing in pain and clutching his injured jewels.

The crowd erupted into an uproar of shock and indignation.
