Chapter 47

In the end, I had only managed to create five intelligent half arrancars. The proper process to create them was something that would need more effort from our part if we wanted to succeed.

Still, I had to delay my investigation. Aizen's grand scheme was about to unfold and the upper echelon of Hueco Mundo had gathered, eagerly awaiting for his triumphant return.

We, the espadas, stood in front of an enormous screen, a mix of emotions played across our faces. Some wore smirks, enjoying the chaos that Aizen's revelation as the mastermind behind the destruction of Central 46 had unleashed on Soul Society.

Others, like Harribel by my side, remained stoic, their eyes betraying nothing as the screen’s image reflected on their eyes.

I turned around, not wanting to hear Aizen’s long explanation about how he had used Urahara and Ichigo to distract soul society. I knew that story perfectly, having watched and read it countless times during my past life.

Sensing my disinterest, Harribel too averted her gaze, her striking blue eyes shifting to meet mine.

“Acidwire, I want to talk to you about something when we have some free time.” She told me, her usually serene tone carrying a weight of seriousness.

“I don’t think we will have the time today.” I replied, gesturing towards Aizen's smug face on the screen. “But we can do it any other day.”

“I will be waiting for the moment then.” She said, her face obscured as usual by the high collar of her attire. "There are more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. But when the opportunity arises, I would like to request something of you."

I couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity mingled with a touch of concern. She rarely initiated conversations of this nature, which only made it weirder.

I nodded, holding back my growing curiosity. "I will find the right moment for us to discuss." I assured her.

“Please.” With that last request, she stopped paying me attention, perhaps content with my response as a new shine appeared on her eyes.

Her sudden request had left me distracted, wondering what she would ask of me.

Shaking such thoughts, I turned back to the screen, observing as Aizen effortlessly dealt with the Soul Society captains. The sight improved the mood of the arrancar present.

"Shinigami are nothing more than worthless pests," Grimmjow interjected with a feral grin, thoroughly enjoying the sight of Aizen effortlessly overpowering the captains.

Nnoitra chimed in with his sadistic laughter echoing through the air of Las Noches. "Hah! They won't even stand a chance against us. We'll cut them down one by one."

The old Barragan remained silent, but the air around him spoke volumes. His stern expression, usually stuck with an air of kingly superiority, seemed oddly relaxed. It was a small hint of his agreement with the sentiments shared with the other Espadas.

Indeed, there was a reason why Aizen was considered the sun of Hueco Mundo, his very existence inspired a light of hope in the survivors of this bleak world.

Unfortunately, that was nothing more than an illusion. Behind his charismatic facade, Aizen’s heart was as broken as any other hollow around here.

Feeling my heart heavy with responsibility, my attention returned to the unfolding spectacle of Aizen's victory. It was an impressive scene, knowing a single man could match all of those heavy weights of Soul Society.

“Groooooo!”

Hearing a loud growl, we turned our gaze to the towering figures of the long-nosed Gillians that had been silently observing the unfolding events. Patiently awaiting their entrance onto the stage.

To be honest, I didn’t know how Aizen had managed to tame them, but they were pretty calm compared to the mindless beasts I had managed to capture, radiating an unusual sense of calmness.

“There they go.” The pink haired Granz exclaimed.

Slowly, they started to tear open a garganta and walked into it. It was astonishing to witness their efficiency and coordination.

I don’t understand how they opened the other side of the garganta so fast, yet in a few seconds they had effortlessly traversed the garganta, crossing over to Soul Society.

“That was surprisingly fast.” I remarked, turning back to the screen where the Nails of a Gillian started to tear open the blue sky above our leader.

Ulquiorra, as stoic as ever, responded with a short sentence, "This was all carefully planned."

It actually wouldn’t surprise me if they had hundreds of countermeasures for all kinds of sceneries. They were quite the paranoid bunch.

Regardless, on Aizen's side, a brilliant yellow light, negación, bathed Aizen, Gin, and Tousen as the mass of Gillians opened the Garganta wider. The radiant light was created by a few arrancars from our side emanating, serving as a shield to protect the traitors in their retreat.

It was a pity I couldn’t hear Aizen’s words as he rose up into the garganta and discarded his glasses. But from what I could remember, he proclaimed himself as the one who would reign supreme over all.

I would have preferred to be there, but then I would probably end up being betrayed by Aizen in one of his weird plots.

With measured steps Aizen stepped into the garganta, its maw closing behind him, leaving only a fading outline of a mouth in soul society’s blue sky.

Hearing his steps, I turned around to face him, my stomach filled with annoying fire while the rest of the Espada appeared rather content, their moods lifted by the display of power of our leader.

Emerging from the depths of the garganta, Aizen appeared before us, his glasses now absent, revealing his deceptive eyes.

Kaname Tousen and Gin Ichimaru followed closely behind, their expressions unreadable as they traversed the portal into Las Noches.

How I wished to kill them, especially the last silver haired bastard. It was a pity that Rangiku hadn’t had the guts to stab him when she had him in her clutches back in Soul Society.

Ulquiorra and Harribel, the most loyal of us, stepped forward.

"Welcome back, Lord Aizen," Ulquiorra greeted with unwavering loyalty, despite his lack of emotion.

Harribel joined in, her tone composed yet respectful. "You have asserted your dominance, my lord."

Grimmjow chimed in with his trademark confidence, a smirk playing on his lips. "You've shown 'em who's boss."

Tousen's brows furrowed, displeased by the unrespectful comment. However, the moment of victory seemed to have made him more calm as he didn’t say anything.

Meanwhile, Aizen's eyes surveyed us with a self-assured smile playing on his lips.

“Today is the start of my reign as the supreme ruler, where this world shall no longer languish without a true sovereign. I will guide everyone from now on, to the right path.”

His voice dripped with confidence as he continued, his tone measured and calculated. "After our victory in the upcoming war, I shall illuminate the path of every being, guiding them toward their true potential. The world shall bow before my vision, and all shall understand the true order of existence."

Aizen's words resonated with an air of authority, carrying the weight of his ambitions and a conviction that left no room for doubt.

I couldn't help but hide a subtle grimace at his long speech. This guy had always possessed an insatiable need to explain his plans, using them as a means to showcase his superior intellect and cunning.

Aonte Bleach timeline is weird at this point since Aizen stole the hogyoku on August 6 and Ichigo traveled to Soul Society on August 8. It’s a mess of time travel because of the cleaner.
But yeah, Aizen was already back on Hueco Mundo when Ichigo was finishing his training.

Espadas

Omake: End

Renato observed as his sister, Ichigo, Uryuu, Chad, and a cat entered the portal to Soul Society created by Urahara.

‘Such is fate.’ He mused to himself.

Two days had passed since Aizen’s betrayal in soul society, yet the group had just departed, unaware of the temporal shift that would transport them to the past.

“Timelines are a pain in the ass.” Renato muttered.

“Indeed.” Urahara replied, his eyes hidden beneath the shadow of his hat. "And now, Mr. Inoue, I'm afraid I can't allow you to continue spying on us."

“That’s a pity.” The remotely controlled gigai replied using his owner’s true voice.

“Cut Benihime.”

With a swift and precise motion, Urahara drew his blade, cutting Renato in two. The halves of his body fell to the ground.

“We will see each other again.” A fading voice whispered. “You haven’t seen the last of me.”

Urahara stood there, gazing at the portal, contemplating his next move.
