I entered my quarters back on my building in Las Noches.

I couldn’t help but smile as I touched my lips, the soft sensation of Nel’s remaining in them like a shadow.

The day had proven to be quite productive and the discussion about my plan to take over Las Noches had gone well.

Entering my hall, my daughters rushed toward me, their small arms enveloping me in a tight embrace.

“Daddy, you didn’t take us with you.” Noelle accused me, trying to pinch my hard waist.

I feigned a grimace, not revealing the fact that her small hand was unable to penetrate my Hierro.

“I missed you.” Esmeralda's soft voice resonated, her eyes downcast.

Each of them showed their affection for me in their own unique ways.

A warm sensation welled up within me, causing my smile to widen. Lowering myself to their level, I reciprocated their embrace, enveloping them in a tight hug.

“Don’t worry, daddy is back.” I declared. “Now, we can play together.”

But their innocent observations couldn't go unnoticed, crushing the happy moment.

“Daddy smells.” Esmeralda accused me, her delicate nose scrunching up in a playful disapproval.

“Like goat face.” Noelle added.

Hearing their words, I had to release my hug and shrug my shoulders. I could only glance at them apologetically.

I had spent the day around Nel and she was quite clingy. It had taken a good thirty minutes to convince her to let me return.

“Sorry, Daddy forgot to cleanse himself of Nel's lingering spiritual energy.” I sheepishly apologized, realizing that that might have been the cause of their discontent.

Concentrating the spiritual energy around me, I stuck them to my body surface. Then, with a burst of power, I expelled the foreign spiritual energies that had clung to me throughout the day.

It was weird how they were so sensitive to spiritual energy. The ability to smell spiritual energy seemed pretty rare to the point where I hadn’t met someone with such ability until they were born.

While I was talented in the subject, their ability to detect and even smell it was beyond my own capabilities.

“Now, daddy is all clean.” I declared, spreading out my arms wide to invite them back into our hug.

To my surprise, Noelle and Esmeralda just exchanged a nod between them before running with their short legs, heading back to their respective mothers.

Perplexed, I followed them, feeling like I had lost the greatest fight of my life.

As I approached, I witnessed their mothers handing each of them a small box, something that seemed to delight my daughters.

I squinted my eyes at Cirucci and Sung-sun. “What are you up, now?”

They both just smirked in a way that sent alarms ringing in my head. Yet, I was unable to question them as my children approached me and offered me the little boxes.

“Here, daddy’s meal.”

Noelle beamed proudly as she handed me her box, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Esmeralda, seeing her sister acting, pushed her sister’s box with her own. “Eat.” She told me.

I smiled at them, unable to resist their enthusiasm, and concealing any hint of anger that had been bubbling in me.

“Thank you. I will eat both of them.” I decided, much to their delight.

I grabbed both of the boxes, and exchanged a nasty glance with their mothers. It was necessary to make clear that using our daughters in their petty squabbles was unacceptable.

“Man, they can be so stubborn when it comes to their territory.” I complained. “It felt like talking to a pair of walls.”

After a satisfying meal, I have given Cirucci and Sung-sun a stern scolding away from the ears of our children for involving them in their cooking competition. Still, I actually had the feeling I was the one who ended up being scolded.

It was when I was having such thoughts that I found myself facing my sister, Orihime, just outside my room.

Orihime, trembling but with determined eyes, approached me with determined eyes while holding her hands in front of her stomach. It was a gesture she used to use when she expected to be rejected.

“Brother, there's something I'd like to ask of you.” She timidly began, her voice laced with uncertainty.

Seeing her like this, I couldn’t resist running my right hand through her silky orange hair.

“Orihime, you can ask me anything. Your brother wouldn't deny you anything.” I reassured her with a warm smile. “Well, except for a boyfriend. You won't be marrying until you're an old spirit.”

A small, crooked smile formed on her face, a drop of sweat rolling down her brow.

“It’s nothing like that.” She quickly responded, waving her hands dismissively and avoiding direct eye contact.

However, I noticed how she gained a sad look as she clasped her left arm with her right hand. “I just feel so useless, you see. Even now, I can't help but rely on you for protection and hope that Kurosaki will come and save me.”

Of course, she was having another one of her insecurities episodes. She actually thought she was just a burden for everyone around her.

“Orihime.” I said with a serious tone, stopping her cold. “You can't blame yourself for what's happening around you. It's not your fault if you couldn't protect yourself. It's okay to feel sad, but please remember, you're not alone in this.”

She tried to speak, but I gently placed a finger on her lips. “We're facing an enemy who is older, stronger, and more cunning than us. We can only bid our time, hoping for an opening to retaliate. Understood?”

Her gaze shifted downward, tears streaming down her cheeks as she gathered herself again. After a moment, she nodded, understanding coloring her face.

“Yes, brother.” She finally declared, her voice filled with determination. “Please help me become stronger.”

A full blown evil smirk boomed on my face. This was going to be so much fun.

“Then come with me. I shall forge you into a warrior capable of bending a shinigami with your pinky!” I exclaimed, my excitement evident. “Though, We’ll have to ask for Cirucci’s help with your training. You will need a female to correct your physical moves.” I told her.

It was necessary, a male body was a bit different to that of a female, besides a bit of additional assistance was just an…

“An excuse to spend more time with me, right?” Cirucci chimed in, completing my sentence.

“You shouldn’t sneak up at me like that, you know?” I told her.

She seemed to have learned to sneak after watching me for a long time and I swear she had a special ability to complete my sentences.

I couldn't help but sigh, hoping that my little Noelle wouldn't inherit this particular talent.

Omake: Not a spy

Emilou Apacci held Cyan Sung-sun in a deadlock. Meanwhile, Tier Harribel and Franceska Mila Rose questioned her.

“So, you are saying that Acidwire has no intention of betraying Lord Aizen?” Harribel asked sung-sun.

Sung-sun hit Apaci with her elbow on the stomach, facing her leader.

“My husband's only wish is for the arrancars to prosper. He would never do anything to harm them.” Sung-sun stated, diverting the question to not answer it.

“Hmm, I doubt Acidwire is as saintly as you paint him.” Mila Rose snorted.

Apacci chimed in, dismissing Sung-sun's words. "I've told you, she's blinded by her crazy love."

“The worst thing he's done recently was mutter to himself about how he wanted to fondle Mila Rose and Lady Harribel's breasts.” Sung-sun, determined to defend Acidwire, added a surprising statement.

“Being a pervert is not a crime.” She defended him, albeit in an unusual way.

Mila Rose and Apacci exchanged an annoyed glance while Harribel’s eyebrows twitched.

“You may go back to little Esmeralda.” Harribel finally decided.

Seeing Sung–sun departing back, Harribel couldn’t help considering her next move.
