The following day, Orihime found herself facing Cirucci inside one of my training rooms. A particular one with a high ceiling that Cirucci had outfitted to have big pillars in the center.

Both of them were wearing some kind of training white clothes, reminiscent of that of karate gi, but it featured a closed front, making it easy to avoid grabs and pulls.

It was a pity that my Cirucci was lacking in the chest department, but I tried to enjoy the sights of her garter belt whenever I could to soothe my spirit.

Breaking away from my musings, I focused my attention on the ongoing sparring session.

The air was charged with a clash of vibrant pink and intense purple auras as their gazes locked, determination etched upon their faces.

Cirucci poised herself, preparing to launch an attack, her whip coiled tightly in her hand. With precision, she lashed out, aiming to strike Orihime's shield with the round end of her whip.

“Orihime, you can pull it off.” I encouraged Orihime. “Channel your energy in your shield, and use it to rebound Cirucci's attack. Believe in your abilities.”

“I know.” Orihime tried to explain, but before she could finish her sentence, Cirucci's weapon struck with incredible force, shattering Orihime's shield.

Orihime swiftly evaded the attack, the round spinning weapon only managing to cut a strand of her hair.

Yet, she couldn’t help but stumble forward, falling to the ground in a roll. She sat up, holding her head with her left hand.

“Ai ai ai… Sister-in-law, you're putting a little too much power into your blows.” Orihime pouted, not minding Cirucci’s manhandling because of her bubbly nature.

Of course, Cirucci had little care for her injuries.

“A true warrior only learns through danger.” Cirucci smirked as she taught her. “It's only through life-threatening experiences that you'll survive in Hueco Mundo.”

Orihime’s pout became bigger. “I always imagined fighting my future sister-in-law for my brother's love while riding a giant Gundam. I never expected her to be such a sadist…” Orihime playfully proclaimed, her imagination running wild with exaggerated scenarios.

Disregarding my sister's wild imagination, I started to ponder.

Over the past few days, Orihime had shown remarkable growth. She hadn’t noticed it, but Cirucci had slowly increased the strength of her blows to continue breaking her shield, it was only a matter of time for her shield to be able whistand it.

Taking that into consideration, I decided my next words, so I interrupted their little bickering.

“Orihime, you are not using your full will to reject Cirucci’s attack.” I reminded her.

To emphasize my point, I brought out a drawing that Noelle and Esmeralda had drawn yesterday. It was a good drawing of Chad with big arms, and Uryu and Ichigo in an archer pose, showcasing their respective abilities.

“Your friends’ powers are based on their ability to manipulate the spiritual energy, be it internal or external with their will.” I explained before pointing at her hair ornament. “On the contrary, yours is based on your intention to reject events. The stronger your rejection is to something, the stronger your abilities get.”

I drew a breath, soothing my aching vocal cords.

I knew that providing detailed explanations wasn't my forte. However, it was crucial for Orihime's growth and development to understand this much.

“I understand.” Orihime nodded, her expression growing serious as she examined her hands. “But, it is harder to do it than simply understanding it.”

Cirucci scoffed at her words, blowing up her disheveled hair with a playful breath.

“Of course it is hard, little sis. My darling and I didn't become stronger in a week like your cheat-like crush.” Cirucci added, a mischievous smirk adorning her face.

That seemed to spark a strong reaction from my sister as she jumped up a bit.

“It’s not like that.” Orihime denied, her hands waving frantically as steam rose from her flushed cheeks. “Kurosaki and I... we're not dating.”

I was about to make fun of her expression when a sharp jab to my ribs woke me up. Looking down, I could see Cirucci with a mean scowl.

“You shouldn't have let the girls draw that, it's almost screaming Kurosaki’s secrets at your sister.” She whispered, reprimanding me.

I smiled knowingly at Cirucci, which only deepened her scowl.

“Do you think Orihime hasn't already figured it out?” I whispered back. “She is smarter than she looks, she probably just doesn’t want to point it out until we confirm it.”

And it was true, I had already discussed Ichigo Kurosaki's powers with my family. With Orihime nearby, we had slipped a few times while talking about him. So, it wouldn’t surprise me if my sister had caught on to the truth.

“Mou, you lovebirds are ignoring me.” Orihime complained, pouting and stomping her foot in frustration.

I averted my gaze, not willing to give in to her playful antics. However, Cirucci eagerly stepped forward, positioning herself in front of Orihime once again.

“Then, we can start again.” Cirucci declared, her sadistic smile widening as she brandished her whip.

Without wasting any time, my sister swiftly conjured her shield, skipping the incantation she used to rely on.

To our surprise, despite taking a hit from Cirucci's attack head on, Orihime's shield remained intact.

“Good, it seems you got it right.” I praised her while clapping. “You have gotten back your determination.”

Orihime smiled, satisfied with her progress.

However, Cirucci decided to pour water on her enthusiasm. “You still haven’t managed to reflect on my attack, little sis. Don’t get carried away.”

Hearing those words, Orihime straightened her posture and raised her hand in a military-style salute.

It seemed to be a gesture that was not unique to me and my children, maybe it was something that was passed down through generations in the Inoue family.

I watched with anticipation, hoping to see my sister develop her powers. There was still much room for growth and development, and I couldn't help but look forward to witnessing her progress firsthand.

Aonte Orihime gets stronger before the big battle.
So… Views dropped after it was confirmed Orihime was not in the Harem…. which is weird because it has been implied how the MC is into older women…

Omake: Loyalty

Asguiaro huffed, clutching his bleeding stomach with his right hand.

“Tell your leader to stop plotting against Lord Aizen or he will end up like the last traitor,” Ulquiorra threatened.

Asguiaro smiled. “My Lord is no traitor. You simply fail to see his true intentions.”

Ulquiorra said nothing, turning around before stopping his steps.

“Consider yourself fortunate to have survived today.”

With that said, he departed.

Asguiaro looked down on sadness, the cake he had gotten for the little rascals was a sad mess on the floor.

“I should have brought that hard bread the human baker recommended.” Asguiaro lamented. “It would have made for a sturdier shield.”
