Jamie kissed the spot above his nipples. She kissed his neck and then ran her body all over his body.

"Stay with me, forever. Reign with me as my Queen, Janessa" He whispered to her "It is what you want now, isn't it?"

Alexander pulled away to look at her. Jamie wanted to tell him everything he wanted her to say but she couldn't. Her place was in Namura. Maybe they can find away to meet in secret even after she is Queen of Namura.

"I can't. My place is in Namura as Queen. We can always do this together. We can..."

Alexander pulled away from her.

"You want to be my mistress?" He asked her and blinked. His Queen wanted to go back to her Kingdom but at least, she wanted to keep him as a sex toy.

He was the greatest king in Derkal yet she made him an offer.

Alexander stood up and took his discarded tunic and placed it back on. He pulled down her dress and made sure, she was decent.

Jamie was confused. He had gone from hot to cold in a matter of seconds.

Jamie sat up and watched him.

"Where are you going?" She asked him.

"For now, nowhere...we will stay in your chamber for a while before I take my leave. It will restore your honor, you don't have to worry" Alexander smiled at her. It was a polite smile.

"You are angry" Jamie Whispered.

"It doesn't matter what I am feeling" after a pause, Alexander added "If you want to get more involved in your role as Queen, then you should plan the hunt that should take place in a few weeks. Nobles from far and wide will be in attendance but if not, Rosemund can do it"

"I will do it!" Jamie was almost too eager to voice out. She hated his cold vibe towards her now. He was treating her with the same in difference and coldness he used when she felt got here.

Alexander stood up.

"I think we've spent enough time and by now, rumours that the king saw his Queen in the morning would have spread. So, your honor is restored. I have to take my leave. I have court to attend" Alexander adjusted his clothes.

Jamie stood up and bowed to him.

"His Highness"

"Her Majesty"

Alexander strolled out of the room.

Jamie carried on with the duties of a Queen with Lucinda May's help. She taught the Queen how to dress and talk to the public. One of the things Jamie decided to do to get to know her subject was to take a carriage ride to the market in Aradale escorted by her Queen's advisor, two knights and Rachael.

She saw children playing and women tending to their stocks. And everyone seemed happy enough to see a Queen walk among them.

It seemed what the King did in Trinity had spread to other villages and everyone saw the royal family as a beacon of hope and justice.

She saw a scarf shop and she stopped to buy one. Little boys were playing not every far from where she was and the wooden sword one of them was playing with dropped at her feet.

Jamie picked it up. Everyone stopped to look at her. Will the Queen take an offense at been harassed with a little sword or will she tamper justice with mercy?

Jamie came closer to the group of boys and the guilty culprit came forward to meet her.

"Milady" the young boy bowed to her and he couldn't be than nine years old.

Jamie watched him intently. He was a brave little boy to own up to his mistake but the sword was a little too small for him. He was protecting someone.

"Is this yours?" Jamie asked him.

"I made it, her Majesty. I apologize to the Queen"

Jamie saw another wooden sword tucked away gently on his belt.

"What is your name, lad?"

"Emory"

"Why do you have two wooden sword, Emory?"

Before the little boy could answer, a younger one came forward and spoke in a shaky voice.

"The sword is mine not Emory's"

Emory turned immediately and flashed a gaze at the voice.

"Shut up, LuLu!" Emory yelled at the little boy. He also conveniently placed his body in between the Queen and the little boy.

He was protecting him.

"Come on out, Lulu" Jamie ordered. People were beginning to gather around. She could also see the boy's mother clasp her hands together to stop herself from running to her children.

Lulu came to the Queen. Jamie saw through the disguise. Lulu was around seven years old but she was a girl hiding in a boy's clothes to play with a sword.

"I believe this is yours, warrior" Jamie handed the sword to her.

"Thank you"

"You like fighting?" Jamie asked her and she nodded.

"How would you like to join the Queen's knight?" The little girl hesitated and Jamie knew why. "I know you are a girl, lulu"

The girl gasped and took a step back.

"Don't worry. You secret is safe with me, Lulu"

The girl came forward.

"We have a Queen's knights?"

"Not yet but in the future" Jamie told her.

"Can I join?"

"Sure. If you train hard enough" Jamie smiled at her "Goodbye, Lulu"

The little girl smiled and gave the little black ribbon on her wrist to Jamie. And Jamie took it from her.

"My name is Lucy" she told Jamie.

"It's very pleasant to make your acquaintance, Lucy. Thanks for the ribbon and this is for you" Jamie took out one of her expensive hair pins and placed it in her hand.

The girl smiled and took off to show her mother. Jamie contiuned her shopping.

"Everyone love the new Queen" Lucinda May's voice was cheerful.

"Really? They are nice folks. I like them too" Jamie answered with a smile.

"Her Majesty is sad. Did something happen?" Lucinda May asked.

"I am alright"

"It's the king, right? You miss him. With the court proceedings for the former councilor of Trinity in session and the bestowment of the lordship on Jared, he hardly has time for any other thing, right?"

Jamie wondered how Lucinda May knew all about that.

"I haven't seen him in days, May. He has important matters to attend" Jamie answered and after a brief pause, she added

"Yes, I miss him"
