It was a normal morning in the Fairy Community located in the heart of Ironthorn Forest.

Clarrisa was waiting, watching as the Sai was sleeping peacefully on the knitted blanket.

Sai slowly opened his eyes and rubbed them softly as he looked at Clarrisa.

“...” Sai was silent, his brain was not working so early in the morning.

“...” Clarrisa continues to stare intently at Sai, saying nothing.

-__-

“So... How long have you been watching me sleep?”

“Three hours.”

Sai nodded, accepting the ridiculous statement. “Why exactly?”

“What do you mean?”

Sai tried to come up with the correct words to convey how creepy it was. “Why would you watch me sleep for three hours?”

Clarrisa thought about her answer. “...You are very cute when you sleep. Watching you sleep is calming,” Clarrisa said and then poked Sai cheek.

Sai was going to ignore Clarrisa and find where the other members of the Rowana family were located.

As normal, Rosa and Rose were clinging to Rachel like a koala as they slept. Rowana was sleeping on a tree branch in a nearby tree.

The sun was up, however everyone was still asleep. “Is there something you want?”

“Sour Apple. That the name of your gift correct?” Clarrisa's eyes seem to glow. “What would you like in return for sharing those fruits with me?”

‘Maybe for you to not disturb my sleep,’ Sai thought grouchily. “Sour Apples.”

Three yellow apples landed on the knitted blanket. Sai grabbed the apples and presented them to Clarissa. “Here you go, go ahead and take them.”

“Your giving them to me?” Clarissa asked and then took the Sour Apples from Sai’s hands.

“Is there any reason why I need to get stronger?” Sai asked Clarissa. “I don’t want to be a hero anymore. Besides, I think you will bother me a lot for those apples. Go ahead and take them. Just please stop stalking and pestering me.”

Clarissa shakes her head. “I don’t like those conditions.I am a greedy girl. I don’t just want the golden eggs. I want the goose that makes them,” Clarissa moved closer to Sai.

Sai used his finger and pushed Clarissa away from him. “I don’t want to have that kind of relationship with a child.”

“I told you I’m an adult.”

“You look like a child. You speak like a child. You act like a child. QED. You are a child.”

“You really are mean.”

“Your a stalker.”

“Even though your rude, I still want you. Why couldn't I have been a Godmother. The Great Fairies are just not fair!”

“Just leave already,” Sai faced went deadpanned. -__-

“No. I can offer you potions. I am a very skilled potion maker. I insist you take some of my potions.”

Sai thought for a moment. It didn't look like he would be able to get rid of Clarissa easily. “How about this pipsqueak, can you show me around the area?”

“I can give you a tour,” Clarissa started to float. “Follow me.”

----

“Here we have the book mountain,” Clarissa explained.

Describing it as a book mountain might be a bit too direct. An immense collection of books formed a mound before us, numbering in the millions. This mound stood at a height-of ten times that of Sai, and it could likely stock the entirety of the Library of Congress from the modern day. Observing the treatment of these books, librarians and historians would surely cry in anguish.

Sai had to ask, “You know, looking at this mess makes me want to organize it,” Sai pointed at the mountain of books. “How can anyone find what they're looking for in this mess?”

“We can ask the librarian to fetch the book you need. She's super shy though,” Clarissa explained. “Una? Where are you?”

Shuffle. Shuffle.

A hand seems to come out of the book mountain. A girl with brown hair and brown eyes peeked out from the book mountain. Only the top half of her head was visible. “Whhaaattt Dddoo You Waannt!” Una said slowly.

Clarissa pointed at Una. “That the librarian, if there is any book you want to read you can ask her to fetch for you.”

Sai nodded his head, and looked at Una, “Oh wise librarian that dwells in the mountain of books! Give me romance! Drama! Comedy! Novel that will make me cry in anguish and laugh in joy! I beseech thee!”

“I will gggraaannntttt yooour reqqquest,” Una said slowly disappeared into the mountain of books.

A book was then thrown at Sai, with ease Sai caught it. It was a red velvet book with the title reading Glimmers of Passion.

With nervousness Sai opened the book and started reading. He started reading the first sentence. He started reading the first paragraph. Before long he finished the chapter. “THIS! IS! A! MASTERPIECE!” Sai screamed loudly. He held the book up to the heavens and light started to descend.

Una popped her head out the book mountain and said slowly. “Goood Goood anothhher onnne haasss joooined!” Una then disappeared into the book of mountains.

Clarissa tapped Sai's shoulder. “Can we go now? There are other places we need to be.”

Sai coughed in his hand. “Ahheem of course.”

Faelings were moving toward Sai and Clarissa.

“AHAHAHA!”

“Oh it's the potion maker! Potion maker!”

“Hero! Hero!”

“Hey! Read us a story!”

“You have a book in your hands! Read it to me! Read it to me!”

Sai hid the book inside his shirt. He couldn’t let these brat read a mature and sophisticated book like Glimmers of Passion. He started trying to walk away from the faelings. “Sorry we are quite busy. We’ll be going now!”

The faelings surrounded Sai and Clarrisa's in all directions.

“Read to us!”

“Read to us!”

“Read to us!

The faelings started to chant in unison.

Clarrisa then muttered. “The will follow you until they get what they want. Faelings are stubborn.”

“Sounds like someone I know,” Sai muttered. He put his hands on his hips and said. “Alright if I tell you one story you will leave us alone?”

“Yes!”

“Yes!”

“I promise on my sister's grave!”

“I am not dead yet!”

“You will be!”

The faelings shouted in excitement.

Clarrisa then asked, “Do you have a good story to tell them?”

Sai faced was filled with joy. ^__^

“Of course, I want to educate these children,” Sai said seriously. “Once upon a time, in a hidden village, a young ninja who always wore a bright orange jumpsuit. Dreamed of becoming the greatest ninja in the village.”

----

Sai ended his tale, he kept some left for later. This greatly displeased the faelings and Clarrisa who were listening intently.

“What happened next!

“I want to be a ninja!”

“I want to try Ramen!”

Sai waved his hands, “Now now. I will tell you more later.”

“Bye-bye.”

“We will be back!”

“I want to hear more...”

The faelings flew away.

Sai stretched his arms and said,“They arrive like a tornado and leave just as quickly. Must be nice being young.”

“You make it sound old,” Clarrisa said.

Rowana was hovering in the air and slowly descended. “You are quite a storyteller.”

“Yeah...” Sai said solemnly. Sai enjoyed telling the story to the faelings.

His old world was ruled by large cooperation and corrupt politicians. Even before he was born, the game was rigged and it was impossible to make any change.

The biggest issue was that nobody cared.

It was hard to live in such a world. Sai would engross himself into Japanese anime, manga and light novels. It was the only activity he would enjoy in such a complicated and stressful society.

“It would be nice. If I could share more of those stories with everyone,” Sai admitted.

“You know you could write a book,” Rowana said.

“I could,” Sai thought about writing about the great animes, manga and lightnovel in the modern time. “Is it possible if you can hand over my smartphone?”

“Sure,” Rowana pulled out Sai’s smartphone from her Kibisis and handed it over to Sai.

Clarrisa looked curiously at the smartphone. “Oh what does that do?”

Sai smiled fondly at the smartphone. Once upon time he would be glued to the screen on the smartphone. It would be the first thing he grabbed when he woke up. “You can think of it as a portable library.”

Sai turned the phone on. The battery was on 15 percent. Which was a miracle since he used to check the time when he traveled with the Princess and Knights toward the Principality.

One of the apps which was MangakaLib had thousands of manga downloaded so he could read the manga while there was no access to the internet.

“If I can figure out how to recharge my phone. I would be able to spread the beauty of manga to the entire world,” Sai said with reverence.

A good story could change a person's life.

Sai felt his soul burning, “In this new world!” Sai clenched his fist. “I am going to spread the joy culture to the entire world!”

Sai had discovered his new dream.

----

Sai was sipping a bottle of Rainbow Dandelion poison. It tasted like shampoo. “This tastes terrible.”

“Drink your poison child,” Rowana said softly. “It’s good for you.”

Clarrisa was infront of Rowana and Sai as she directed them to the next area.

“This is where we play Sky Ball!” Clarrisa then indicated the field that was covered by a huge net that was the length and width of a football field.

“Sky Ball,” Rowana said with disgust.

There were a group of child fairies that were flying through the air, dodging a large red ball.

The teams were easily distinguished by their shirts. A single fairy was wearing a red shirt. While multiple were green shirts.

While Sai was watching the game of Sky Ball he asked. “So how do you play Sky Ball?”

Clarrisa pointed at the fairy wearing a red shirt. “Sky Ball, true to its name, represents an airborne sport, where participants take to the skies. Within the game, there exist two distinct roles. Attackers,” Clarrisa then pointed at the fairies wearing green shirts. “And defenders.”

Clarrisa continued, “The primary objective of attackers revolves around targeting the defenders by throwing the ball at them. The defenders must evade being struck by the ball. A mere touch or impact will result in their elimination.”

Clarrisa then pointed to the large net suspended above the ground by wooden poles . “Furthermore, defenders touching the ground or the netting signifies an elimination.”

Clarrisa had spread her hand showing all five digits. “A time limit of 5 minutes is in each match. The score for the attackers is dependent on how many defenders were eliminated from the match. For the next match, a new attacker is then chosen.”

Sai nodded his head. “It is basically like dodgeball while flying,” Sai summarized. “What with the net?”

Rowana then said, “When a fairy runs out of strength to fly it is meant to catch them,” Rowana shook her head. “It is quite a barbaric game.”

Clarrisa looked confused, “It’s harmless fun.”

“In my time, we didn't use a soft cotton ball, but real Magic Art attacks. Also we didn’t have a safety net,” Rowana said with a frown. “The game Sky Ball was supposed to mimic real life combat. Only battle maniacs love to play the game.”

Clarrisa blink a few times, “How old are you?”

Rowana gave a chilly smile and started to pitch Clarrisa's cheek.

“Owwie ittt hurrrts!” Clarrisa said. “III’mmm sowweey!”

“Dear sweet Clarrisa, never ask a lady her age,” Rowana said and let go of Clarrisa face.

Three fairies were heading toward their group. Sai was only acquitted to Natalia, so even meant these groups of fairies he didn’t know all of them by name.

“They you are. Where have we been, we checked the clinic and your spot and haven’t been able to find you,” The blue-haired fairy said, putting her hands on her hips. “Have you even finished your task? The Fairy Queen will punish you if you slack off.”

Clarrisa looked to the left away from the blue-haired fairy, “I’ve been busy.”
