POV Eldrin

Eldrin was the Underworld Boss. He would like to think of himself as the uncrowned king of the world.

Kidnapping, Assassination, Drugs, Prostitutions, Slave trade and all kind illegal action were his bread and butter.

He owned a portion of the world and with a single command he could ruin countries.

The most profitable business he operated was selling Magic Orbs.

It was illegal to own or sell certain types of Magic Orbs.

The list includes Death Orbs, Silence Orbs, Healing Orbs and other types of Magic Orbs.

Eldrin assumes that the law was created so that Nobles can hoard the precious Magic Orbs.

It made some sense that the Death Orb would be illegal. Assassins love using them to instantly kill anyway with just a word.

The Silence Orb could stop a person from performing Magic Arts. The Nobles definitely didn't want anyone to shut down their ability to perform magic.

The Healing Orbs could heal any injury as long as the person is alive. Eldrin couldn't think of a good reason that it was illegal other than that the Nobles were just evil.

His agents would collect the Magic Orbs from the Adventure Guild and sell them in the black market.

Eldrin was evil. However, he felt he had so much to learn from the old nobility.

Raising taxes on essential goods.

Restricting access to Magic Formations.

Spreading disinformation about how Magic Art is performed.

Eldrin was disgusted with the nobility.

Eldrin sent an application, riches and wrote 5 different letters to Sapphire Princess to become a noble.

Princess Ophelia replied that he would need to marry her if he wanted to become a noble.

Eldrin politely rejected Ophelia's offer.

He wasn't suicidal enough to marry that nutjob.

Today he received news that his rival has committed a great sin.

Now his wrath was aimed at the most vile villain that he ever encountered.

Duke Galen.

The great sin was that he thought he could steal his Jasmine.

----

Two days before present day.

Eldrin occupied a secluded booth within his own restaurant.

His bodyguards was armed and standing vigil for any danger.

Sipping from his wine glass, he awaited updates from his spies to gather all the information necessary to infiltrate the Duke Mansion.

Eldrin was going to free Jasmine from the clutches from the of malevolent Noble

Eldrin's bodyguard informed that Benjamin Riverberry wanted to make a deal.

Eldrin mind recalled he knew about Benjamin.

Benjamin was once a Noble that ruled the town of Riverberry.

Benjamin lost his wife and son.

Benjamin joined the revolution and became a Congressman for the Ruby Republic.

The most important aspect that Eldrin cared about though he was spotted entering the Duke Mansion.

Eldrin said to the bodyguard. “Let me see him.”

Benjamin, cloaked in a hooded robe, entered and took a seat opposite Eldrin. Placing a chest on the table, he revealed its contents, a large amount of coins totaling 25 million. "This is yours if you can eliminate five people by tomorrow," he proposed.

“Before we talk about business, there is something I want to know. Did you see Jasmine in the Duke Mansion. What is her condition?” Eldrin asked while staring down Benjamin.

“I find it strange that your the third person to ask me that question today,” Benjamin replied

“Well of course. She is the most beautiful girl in the world. In the Royal Academy, we have only one rule concerning Jasmine. Not to let that jerk Duke Galen marry her,” Eldrin explained.

“I have seen Jasmine in the mansion. She is fine and is happy with Galen,” Benjamin said.

Eldrin had already surmised that Duke Galen might be employing a love potion on Jasmine. Determined to counteract this manipulation, Eldrin resolved to obtain an antidote, convinced that no rational person could genuinely harbor affection for the detested Duke Galen.

"As I mentioned earlier, it's crucial for you to be aware that the people I'm tasking you with assassinating are Masters, all of whom hold significant positions in the Northern Army," Benjamin clarified.

Eldrin mind wondered and thought of an another terrible possibility. He had a suspicion that Duke Galen might be compelling Jasmine into marriage through the use of Enslaving Cuffs.

Benjamin then asked. “Are you listening to me?”

Eldrin took a second to compose himself, “There's a lot on my mind. We will get the job done.”

“Excellent,” Benjamin said.

----

Eldrin sent the assassins to kill the Masters.

All five Masters in the Northern Army were dead before sunrise.
