Facing Demon Lord Storm in battle was akin to confronting a force of nature, as if an unstoppable tempest had descended upon the world.

In the distant past, the Spear Monarch witnessed the tragic demise of his entire army. Sai recalled that haunting vision. The Demon Lord hurling millions of lightning bolts from the heavens, laying waste to the armies below.

The onslaught of millions of lightning bolts represented an immense area-of-effect attack, capable of not only annihilating the army but obliterating an entire city. The imminent threat loomed large, spelling death for all.

Raising a solitary hand to the heavens, the Demon Lord summoned a cascade of lightning, a destructive rain that threatened to erase everything in its path.

Simultaneously, Sai lifted the Staff of Moses into the air, manipulating the vast water reserves in the vicinity to craft a protective barrier against the impending devastation.

The sky unleashed a torrent of millions of lightning bolts.

A colossal whirlpool of water materialized, swirling through the air with such enormity that it shrouded the skies. This aqueous shield became the savior of the Dukedom, safeguarding it from the relentless downpour of lightning bolts. In this macabre dance of elements, survival hung in the balance, with Sai desperately striving to outwit the impending cataclysm.

In Sai relief he successfully blocked the millions of lighting bolts.

Storm retaliated by unleashing a potent gust of wind, a tempest that swept through the surroundings, surpassing the ferocity of a hurricane. It threw everyone off balance.

Stealthily, Rowana maneuvered behind Storm, executing a horizontal sword slice in an attempt to strike the elusive foe.

In a heartbeat, Storm evaded through teleportation, leaving Rowana swinging at empty air. Seizing the advantage, Storm directed a barrage of six lightning bolts toward Rowana.

Reacting with nimble grace, Rowana ascended swiftly, narrowly avoiding the lethal bolts.

Undeterred, Storm materialized beside Rowana, launching another salvo of lightning bolts at her.

Seizing the opportunity, Sai propelled himself toward Storm, delivering a forceful shield bash to the Demon Lord.

As Storm tumbled through the air from Sai attack, the Demon Lord quickly halted his tumbling and instantly teleporting near Sai and unleashing another volley of six lightning bolts.

Moving quickly, Sai closed the gap, allowing the shield to absorb the electrical onslaught as he moved into striking range. With a quick roundhouse kick, Sai sent Storm hurtling backward, only to witness the Demon Lord's vanishing through teleportation.

Now positioned before the Northern Army, Storm became the ominous focal point, instilling fear in the onlookers.

Commander Thalia, grasping the gravity of the dire situation, roared, "Attack!"

Before the Army could mobilize, Demon Lord Storm unleashed six lightning bolts into their ranks. The bolts effortlessly tore through the armor of knights and mages, leaving chaos in their wake.

"You monster!" Thalia exclaimed, her voice dripping with anger and sorrow. Thalia lunged at the Demon Lord, delivering a rapid succession of sword strikes.

However, the Demon Lord remained motionless, allowing Thalia's blows to merely impact its formidable barrier.

Sai, swift to the rescue, was already in motion, anticipating Storm's impending release of another lightning bolt that threatened to claim the Commander's life.

Yet, it was the Griffon Knight Corvas who proved quicker in saving Thalia. His sword, cloaked in tornado wind, slashed at the Demon Lord, propelling it away. Immediately the Demon Lord teleported again.

Sai reached Thalia in haste, his voice echoing, "I want you to retreat your army. You're not powerful enough to join this battle!"

"We are not cowards who flee from danger! We are the Northern Army! It is our duty to protect the Northern Dukedom!" Thalia retorted defiantly.

"At least evacuate the area! I don’t even know if I have the power to protect you!"

Sai was constantly being fed information from the Nexus. He learned of a strategy the Hero Water Affinity had employed in the past to track the Demon Lord. Tracking one's own mana proved simpler than the elusive Demon Lord's, and if Sai marked Storm with his mana infused poison, he would enhance his ability to sense Storm’s presence.

With determination, Sai discarded his boots. His skin, surpassing the toughness of Light Silver Metal, which was a much lethal weapon. Requiring a free hand, he shifted the Staff of Moses into his nondominant left hand, where it was accompanied by an Mithril Shield. This enabled him to unleash formidable punches with his right hand. To augment the potency, he coated his right hand with poison, infusing the lethal concoction with more mana than usual. Finally he activated his Slow enchantment from his Red Mana Crystal to cover his entire body.

Sai had resolved to throw everything in his arsenal at the Demon Lord, a determination rooted in his readiness to end the Demon Lord Storm existence.

In the ongoing skirmish, Demon Lord Storm found himself embroiled in a scorching battle with Rowana and the Griffon Knight Corvas. Their deadly dance unfolded at breakneck speed, an aerial clash of survival and annihilation.

Sai joined the duo using his Cloud Step technique to run on the air.

Corvas executed a slashing maneuver that sent Demon Lord Storm hurtling through the sky. The Demon Lord executed his characteristic teleportation.

In the next instant, as the Demon Lord materialized, Sai was already positioned in front of him, delivering a potent haymaker to Storm's face. Struck by Sai's fist, the Demon Lord was sent sprawling through the air.

Not only did the Demon Lord's movements become slower, but more significantly, he bore the mark of Sai's poison.

Sai surged toward the Demon Lord, launching a devastating frontal kick that propelled Storm even farther into the distance.

In response, the Demon Lord resorted to teleportation.

Sai could feel the lingering touch of his poison and mana. The moment Storm materialized once more, Sai positioned himself directly in front of the Demon Lord. A succession of brutal strikes followed, an impactful punch to the face, a whirling roundhouse kick, and an axe kick that drove Storm forcefully to the ground.

Swiftly predicting Storm's next appearance, Sai advanced and executed a shield bash, sending the Demon Lord soaring through the air.

The Demon Lord's attempted to unleash a bolt of lightning, Sai's swiftness outpaced the attack. A deadly kick to the chest sent the monster soaring through the skies.

Sai pressed on, unrelenting in his assault. The Demon Lord found no reprieve, continually pummeled by Sai's unyielding determination. In the face of teleportation, Sai remained undeterred, swiftly dashing to the anticipated location, prepared to dish out a lethal strike upon the monster.

Sai would deliver a punch to the Demon Lord.

Sai would follow up with a kick to the Demon Lord.

Sai would then execute a knee strike against the Demon Lord.

Sai would conclude with a shield bash directed at the Demon Lord.

Sai continued the relentless cycle of these four attacks, each lethal strike propelling Demon Lord Storm through the air.

The dance between Sai and the Demon Lord, every move held a thread of impending doom. The Demon Lord's attempt to unleash a lightning bolt was thwarted by Sai, who struck first before Storm could launch the attack.

The Demon Lord, sensing Sai's unwavering advance, attempted to wield the wind as a weapon, a futile effort to push the determined hero back. Sai, however, refused to yield, moving forward relentlessly and launching his own counterattack in the face of the tempest.

When the Demon Lord sought refuge behind a watery shield, Sai, ever resourceful, wielded the Staff of Moses as a brutal instrument, turning the very same shield against the malevolent entity.

Sai, drawing information from the Nexus, absorbed insights from every hero who had faced Demon Lord Storm, learning the strategies, habits, techniques, and abilities the Demon Lord Storm would employ. Armed with this knowledge, Sai endeavored to vanquish the Demon Lord, a creature with a history spanning more than two millennia and a trail of fallen heroes in its wake.

Sai was the sole combatant against the Demon Lord as the battle stretched across the skies of the Dukedom. Sai persevered in the battle that seemed to stretch on for what felt like hours.

Sai started counting every hit he made at the Demon Lord.

50 hits.

100 hits.

200 hits.

247 hits.

The 248th strike took the form of a roundhouse kick, a devastating blow that sent the Demon Lord hurtling through the air from Sai's formidable and powerful attack.

Sai was standing in the air, utilizing the Cloud Step technique. However, to his dismay, he realized he was falling. Which was a shocking revelation. A chilling conclusion struck Sai. He had depleted his mana reserves. All the mana in the Red Mana Crystal was seeped away.

As Sai plummeted, the Demon Lord Storm seized the opportunity, unleashing a relentless barrage of lightning bolts in his direction.

In a swift maneuver, Rowana intercepted Sai, whisking them both away from the imminent bolts that crackled with deadly energy.

Rowana dropped Sai off on the rooftop of a building.

"Good work," Rowana commended, her eyes focused on the ongoing assault.

Rowana broke the sound barrier and aimed to slice at the Demon Lord. The Griffon Knight also joined the battle.

In the skies above, Rowana and the Griffon Knight engaged in a fierce battle with the Demon Lord.

“Is this the end!” Sai said in despair. Sai knew that if he didn’t have any mana left he would be unable to kill Demon Lord Storm. It was unlikely that Rowana and the Griffon Knight could slay the Demon Lord without him. Sai realized everyone in the Northern Dukedom was do

Samantha and the Polar Bear soon joined Sai on the rooftop. “You make battling the Demon Lord easy,” Samantha then asked, "Do you have any injuries that need healing?"

"No wounds to speak of," Sai replied. His mind was racing trying to figure out how to recharge his Red Mana Crystal to re-enter the fray.

Mounted on a white cloud, the Polar Bear ascended to join the confrontation with the Demon Lord. Sai, observed as the arctic beast had his fists enveloped in a freezing aura, unleashed a relentless barrage against Demon Lord Storm.

Sai hoped that the Polar Bear was strong enough to buy enough time to recharge his depleted mana reserves.

Commander Thalia joined the pair on the rooftop.

“Thankyou Samantha for healing my knights. You saved their lives,” Thalia said to Samantha.’’

"As for you," Thalia turned to Sai, a fierce determination gleaming in her eyes, "You fought the Demon Lord fiercely. Allow me to show you the power of the Northern Army!"
