The Demon Lord, a creature with the lower body of a goat and the upper body of a man, stood upright on two goat legs, adorned with horns protruding from its head. Its skin, initially blue, was darkening, and its face concealed behind a bone mask.

Sai's present condition, which he would refer to as Holy Rush, was overflowing with Holy Magic, resulting in a doubling of all his attributes. This meant doubling in his Strength, Durability, Agility, Mana, and Mind attributes.

Sai's predecessor, the Spear Monarch gave this Demon Lord another name, Storm. The Spear Monarch perished with his entire army trying and failing to kill this Demon Lord.

With a raised hand, Storm unleashed a powerful lightning bolt towards Sai, the brilliance of which surpassed the ambient light and possessed enough destructive force to destroy several buildings. Sai skillfully evaded the attack by swiftly jumping into the air.

Sai curled up into a ball mid-air, positioned his feet behind him, executing Cloud Step to make the very air walkable. With a dynamic leap, Sai launched himself from the airborne platform, hurtling towards Storm with tremendous speed. Upon reaching his target, he executed a rapid spinning drop kick.

Anticipating Sai's assault, the Demon Lord teleported, causing Sai's kick to meet the ground, creating a large booming sound and leaving behind a large crater.

Benjamin, seizing the opportunity, unleashed a colossal tsunami of water, towering over the buildings and sweeping away everything in its path.

Sai allowed the tsunami to hit him.

Sai was an immovable object that the tsunami failed to move.

The water receded and Sai stood tall like nothing had happened.

Sensing the Demon Lord's imminent attack, Sai adeptly evaded by ducking his entire body. A building crumbled as a lightning bolt tore through it, narrowly missing Sai.

The Demon Lord, teleporting to Sai's right, launched another lightning bolt, but Sai skillfully rolled to evade it, leaving destruction in its wake.

Sai was up and sprinting toward Storm.

Storm was already preparing to send another lightning bolt aimed at Sai.

Sai was faster and reached the Demon Lord before it could launch another attack.

Sai kicked Storm's hand to divert the impending lightning bolt into the air. Without pausing, Sai executed an axe kick on the Demon Lord's head, forcing the Demon Lord to bow.

Sai grabbed Storm by the head and performed three knee strikes into the face of the Demon Lord. The Demon Lord then teleported away.

One hit from Sai would have destroyed a boulder. The Demon Lord Storm had a super powerful barrier around his body. Preventing Sai from inflicting serious damage to the Demon Lord.

Sai would need to keep hitting until the Demon Lord Storm barrier was destroyed. Which was much easier said than done. Since his predecessor Heroes the Spear Monarch, Heroes Water Affinity, Ancient Magic Meister and Heavenly Builder failed to destroy the Demon Lord Storm barrier.

Hundreds of water lances were in the air. Benjamin stood with the Staff of Moses raised in the air.

“Sapphire Hero I can’t have you slaying the Demon Lord! The Northern Army will be destroyed!” Benjamin said, launching the hundred water lances at Sai.

Sai launched himself from the ground toward Benjamin. Undeterred, he plowed through a barrage of water lances.

Sai lightly punched Benjamin. The punch met its mark, colliding with Benjamin's shield.

A resounding clang echoed in the surroundings, the result of the impact between Sai's punch and Benjamin's shield.

Sai could now identify the shield Benjamin was using. The Mithril Shield.

"Be gone!" Benjamin exclaimed, conjuring a water tornado that pushed Sai back.

A horde of Vampire Starfish descended from buildings, bounding towards Sai with open mouths poised to bite.

Simultaneously, a Cyclops erupted from the ground, roaring into the air.

Five Eyeball Demons descended from the sky.

The Vampire Starfish were the first to reach Sai, but he swiftly countered with the poison from the Greedy Jar, dousing them in lethal poisons. He successfully dispatched all the approaching Vampire Starfishes.

The Five Eyeball Demons retaliated by unleashing lasers at Sai, but the attacks proved futile. Covered in a protective aura of Holy Magic, Sai remained unscathed. Sai employed the Cloud Step technique to ascend into the air and battled the Eyeball Demons head-on.

Sai's punches demolished the nearest Eyeball Demon upon impact. Moving with incredible speed, he proceeded to eliminate all the remaining Eyeball Demons.

While still airborne, a concrete slab was thrown at Sai, yet he effortlessly shattered it with a single punch.

The Cyclops wielded another concrete slab and was about to throw it at Sai.

With incredible swiftness, Sai was infront of the Cyclopes. He delivered a deadly punch to the Cyclops's stomach, creating a hole that proved fatal for the massive demon, leading to its demise.

“Why are you getting in my way!” Benjamin sent a thousand water arrows at Sai.

Sai was unfazed by the water arrows that hitted him.

Moving swiftly, Sai approached Benjamin and lightly punched him.

Attempting to defend himself, Benjamin raised his shield, resulting in a resounding metallic clang as he successfully blocked Sai's attack.

This development puzzled Sai, as he was considerably faster than Benjamin, and the latter shouldn't have been able to match his speed in evading attacks.

Recognizing the need to change his strategy, Sai altered his approach. He seized Benjamin's shield with both hands.

Benjamin created a powerful water tornado to stop Sai.

"I won't let you take this away from me!" Benjamin asserted increasing the pressure of the water tornado.

Sai pushed against the shield and simultaneously propelled Benjamin away. Before Benjamin could comprehend Sai's strategy, Sai accelerated, slamming Benjamin forcefully into a nearby wall.

The impact resonated with a resounding BAM, as Benjamin became embedded in the wall.

Sai stared at Benjamin, the damage he inflicted on him would take weeks to heal. Like if someone was driving a car at full speed and hit a wall.

Benjamin took out a Magic Orb.

“Healing,” Benjamin said as he was instantly healed by the power of the Healing Orb.

Sai sent a roundhouse kick at Benjamin.

Benjamin blocked the kick with the Mithril Shield.

“You don’t understand! I can’t afford to lose!” Benjamin screamed.

“Please stay down! I have to stop the Demon Lord before it destroys the entire city!” Sai begged.

“I lost everything because of the cruel and corrupt Nobles! I won’t lose everything I worked so hard for again! This Northern Army will be destroyed!”

“I’m sorry,” Sai said with remorse.

Sai summoned Abyssal Pufferfish poison from the Greedy Jar and splashed Benjamin with it.

Benjamin blocked with his shield. However Sai maneuvered the poison to go around Benjamin to hit Benjamin face and skin.

Benjamin fell, his muscles contracting from the powerful poison.

Benjamin slowly and painfully pulled out a Healing Orb. “Healing,” Benjamin said.

The Healing failed to cure the poison.

Benjamin dropped the Staff of Moses.

“Will you listen to my last request, Sapphire Hero,” Benjamin said in a solemn and soft voice.

“Yes,” Sai answered.

“Don’t be killed. I forbid you from being killed from anyone else's hands,” Benjamin said as he died, slumping forward.

Sai caught Benjamin's body and laid it gently on the ground.

Sai’s heart was beating so fast it felt like it would burst. He was trying to think about the possibility of defeating Benjamin without killing him. He got no answers. His very soul hurt. This was the first person he ever killed.

Sai addressed the Benjamin dead, “You destroyed the Northern Dukedom and you summoned a Demon Lord. Your the cause of so much death and destruction. I shouldn’t feel awful about killing you. But you helped me when I needed it. Your one of the people that brought me where I am today. I’m sorry Benjamin. Nothing about this feels fair. I wish there was another way this could have ended. I hope you find peace in the afterlife.”

With much reluctance, Sai took the Staff of Moses, Mithril Shield and Crown of Thorns from Benjamin's still warm body.

With the Crown of Thorns, Sai’s Mind attribute increased by 12 points.

With the Mithril Shield, Sai had a powerful defense.

With the Staff of Moses, Sai could control water.

Sai was going to hunt down a Demon Lord and stop it from destroying the Northern Dukedom.

----

Sai reached the battlefield where the Demon Lord Storm clashed with the Northern Army. The sounds of anguished cries and screams echoing across the scene.

Strewn across the ground were the charred remains of numerous knights and mages who had fallen victim to the conflict.

The Griffon Knight, now transformed into a hybrid of man and bird, displayed imposing features with large brown wings, white feathered hair, and talon-like legs. Engaging Storm in a fierce aerial duel, the Griffon Knight skillfully dodged bolts of lightning unleashed by the Demon Lord and attempted to strike him with a swift sword maneuver. However, Storm consistently teleported away, eluding the Griffon Knight's attacks.

Commander Thalia Unicorn of the Northern Army entered the fray, charging at the Demon Lord with her raised sword. In response, Storm directed a lightning bolt towards Thalia, who deftly evaded the attack. The destructive force of the lightning bolt, however, demolished a nearby building, prompting cries of distress from trapped residents.

Rowana flew toward Sai. “Where have you been? Don’t leave us alone! A Demon Lord is rampaging!”

“I am going to kill Demon Lord Storm!”

Rowana summoned red poison and created an armor that covered her body. Rowana pulled out a mithril sword from her Kibisis. “Your not going to fight alone.”

Rowana broke the sound barrier as she flew toward Storm and sliced the Demon Lord with her mithril sword.

Storm was pushed back.

Storm retaliated by teleporting away and launching a lightning bolt at Rowana, who, to everyone's surprise, turned out to be an illusion.

Rowana appeared infront of Storm and sliced the Demon Lord with her mithril sword again.

Storm teleported once more. Sai, sensing where the Demon Lord would appear crashed into Storm with the force of a locomotive, colliding with Storm using his Mithril Shield.

Storm was sent flying from the powerful collision.

The Griffon Knight seized the opportunity and sent a slicing wind attack, successfully hitting the elusive Demon Lord.

A bone-chilling wind swept through the air, culminating in a large tornado enveloping the Demon Lord Storm.

The Demon Lord had initially been in a dormant state, but now that he was awakened, he was terrifyingly more powerful.

“Demon Lord Storm is finally awake! Everyone be careful he’s much more powerful!” Sai yelled out.

The skies became overcast with rain clouds, and a torrential downpour ensued. The rainfall was so intense that breathing became difficult.

Thunderstorms erupted, with lightning dancing in the darkened sky.

Sai knew the real fight was about to begin.
