Chapter 84 Into the Realm of Dragons

Long Tian stepped into a chamber guarded by two cultivators. This chamber housed the portal that would lead him to the realm of dragons.

Guided by Long Gongyu, the grand elder, he arrived in a seemingly empty room.

"Where's the portal, Elder Gongyu?" he inquired.

"Be patient, Long Tian. The spirit stones are currently at work," Long Gongyu replied.

Long Tian nodded, recalling the significant resources required to open and maintain such a portal.

Suddenly, an abundance of Reiki surged, and blue auras emanated from the room's openings.

These blue auras converged and spiraled, forming what resembled a cloud.

"These are no ordinary spiritual stones; they are high-level spirit stones found deep within the Earth. Each fragment of this Reiki is exceedingly precious, so do not waste this opportunity," explained Long Gongyu.

"I understand," Long Tian responded with a nod.

"By the way, your martial spirit is truly remarkable. However, I've heard from your father that you possess another martial spirit—a dual martial spirit?" Long Gongyu inquired, sounding surprised.

"Yes, Elder Gongyu. Well, if Shen Long alone is sufficient, I suppose I need not reveal my second martial spirit. It's my ace in the hole," Long Tian replied, grinning.

Long Gongyu nodded and smiled. "I understand. If you consider it an ace in the hole, it must indeed be potent. I won't inquire further about your martial spirit. One thing is certain: you are the future of the Long family, and your father and all of us will always support you," he said, patting Long Tian's shoulder.

Long Tian smiled. "Thank you, Elder Gongyu," he said.

Long Gongyu nodded. "Alright, the portal is open now, and you should enter. Outside, there will be many guards ensuring you exit on time," he stated.

Long Tian looked ahead, and indeed, the blue aura had coalesced into a dense, swirling circle resembling a portal.

He approached it, and as he reached out his hand, it suddenly pulled him in, and he entered the portal.

He flew, soaring at high speed. Around him was a corridor filled with blue aura, resembling a journey through space and time in science fiction.

******************

After traversing this time corridor, Long Tian finally arrived above what seemed like clouds on Earth. He descended through the clouds.

His vision was momentarily obstructed as the clouds were somewhat thick and brushed against his eyes.

But as his vision cleared, he was astonished by the sight of this world from the altitude.

This place resembled a fantasy world, with mountains, forests, meadows, and beautiful lakes.

Long Tian descended and landed on the grass. His robust physical power ensured he wasn't injured in the slightest. Continue reading on No_veLbIn

What left him even more astonished was the quality of this world's Reiki, seemingly hundreds or even thousands of times better than his own world.

"Something like this, I'll savor it for at least a few minutes," he said and immediately sat cross-legged, beginning his cultivation.

"Alright, lead the way," Long Tian agreed.

"Okay, hold my hands," the woman instructed, extending both her hands.

Long Tian took her hands, curious about what would happen next.

With a smile, the woman began to transform back into a colossal dragon. She swung her hand, propelling Long Tian upwards until he landed smoothly on her dragon form's neck.

She spread her wings, and they soared into the sky. Long Tian seemed like a tiny speck in comparison due to the dragon's immense size.

Above the clouds, he could hardly see anything.

***************

After several minutes, the dragon descended from the sky, revealing a breathtaking sight. This time, a golden structure perched atop a mountain peak came into view.

Long Tian could see it and felt certain that it was the Temple of Dragons the woman had mentioned.

The dragon approached and transformed back into her human form, and together, they arrived right in front of the temple.

Long Tian marveled at the temple's grandeur. Even the entrance stood at least a hundred meters tall.

"This is the Temple of Dragons. You're the seventh person to enter it," the woman informed him.

"Seventh? So, others like me have withstood your aura?" Long Tian inquired curiously.

"Yes, but unfortunately, none of them returned after entering the temple. I don't know its contents because it seems to reject my presence. Well, entering it is akin to suicide. Are you still willing to go?" the woman asked.

Long Tian grinned, displaying his confidence. "Absolutely."

The woman smiled seductively, "Then I won't stop you any longer. Well, if you can return alive, I might just reward you," she teased, her smile alluring.

Hearing that tempting tone, Long Tian was momentarily enticed. But he shook his head, reminding himself that she was indeed a true dragon.

"I will enter," he declared.

"Good luck," the woman said.

With a nod, Long Tian ventured into the temple, stepping into the shroud of darkness that awaited him.

***********

Unending darkness stretched before him, yet Long Tian pressed forward with unwavering determination. At this point, there wasn't even a glimmer of light to guide his way.

Whispers, eerie and soft, emanated from all directions, casting a chilling atmosphere. However, his expression remained resolute, devoid of fear. In this world, ghosts and supernatural entities were as real as soul beasts, posing a potential threat to humans.

Suddenly, Long Tian came to a halt. A flash of lightning crackled in his hands. With clenched fists, he summoned and channeled electric currents, unleashing them into the ground.

Bang!

The thunderous strike, accompanied by dazzling lightning, immediately consumed the lurking spirits, reducing them to mere ashes.

In the ensuing moments, the oppressive darkness lifted, revealing a majestic chamber with a colossal marble door standing just a short distance away.

"That's the genuine entrance, I suppose," he grinned and proceeded confidently toward the door.
