The fairer skin princess, with hair that was tied in a braid and which reached all the way to her waist, was holding the sword that had precious red rubies on it. With every move and every slash, she created whirlpools that moved toward her opponent as quickly as lightning.

These whirlpools, if they were not destroyed by the other princess, would hit the barrier between the arena and spectators, causing the barrier to shake violently before it absorbed the whirlpools into it.

"First Princess Iris! First Princess Iris!!!" some of the members of the audience cheered loudly and whistled. Their clean high-quality garments and their servants who were standing by their sides showed the ranks of these spectators who dared to openly cheer for the princess of their choices.

Furthermore, the fact that they were allowed to watch meant that these weren't just the children of any basic noble families.

"Princess Cecile…" mumbled some of the spectators worriedly as they looked at the princess that was placed on the back foot and who was doing her best jumping away from the whirpools that were thrown at her one after the other.

Princess Cecile was the slightly tanned princess, who was bleeding from the various cuts on her body. Even the golden trident that she was holding had been stained with her blood and had bloody fingerprints on them.

Unlike her cousin, she stood out like a sore thumb in this country, with her skin color and her short, wavy-length hair. The women of Terre D'eau pride themselves on their long, blue hair, but for some reason, this princess, who used to be known as First Princess Cecile, cut her hair short during the death anniversary of her young brother, the late King Tomas, two months ago.

Having dodged four whirlpools that were closing in from four corners in an X-shape, Princess Cecile floated in "midair", and holding the golden trident tightly in her hands, her azure eyes lit up almost as if they were on fire as she chanted something while lifting the trident high.

"Tidal Blast!!!" she yelled as she slashed the trident that was at least a head taller than her down.

SHUSHHHH!!!

The water that was within the protective dome started to tremble, and the movement was extremely obvious. Some of the spectators even stood up to watch more clearly, and some sent their servants closer to the dome to get a good look.

The water in front of Princess Cecile trembled--no! It was vibrating! The water vibrated so greatly that it appeared to be an opaque wall that covered from side to side and bottom to top, effectively blocking the views of both the spectators and First Princess Iris.

"What is she doing?" First Princess Iris murmured as she narrowed her eyes at the opaque water wall. She raised her sword in her right hand and slashed it diagonally as she yelled, "Do not hide behind this stupid wall!!!"

SPLASH!

The opaque water wall split diagonally, before breaking down into normal water again.

"No… way…"

"What the hell…"

"That's… King Adam's spell…"

In less than a few seconds from when the opaque water wall appeared to when it was destroyed, a huge 10-meter wave was already forming from the water that gathered on one side.

Just the appearance of the wave caused the spectators to stand up in both fear and excitement. The brave ones were staring at the wave with their eyes bright and focused, hoping to see what would happen next.

"It's just like the king!!! Look!" someone yelled as they pointed at the figure that was floating within the wave.

The princess inside the wave pointed her trident at First Princess Iris, and she mumbled a single syllable word. "Go."

"When did she learn this?!" First Princess Iris exclaimed as her eyes opened widely. The wave was moving too fast, not to mention that it was too high for her jump above it!

ROAR!

As the 10-meter wave rushed toward First Princess Iris, a loud roaring sound could be heard.

When the wave was less than 5 meters away from First Princess Iris, who had raised her sword with a trembling hand and a soul power shield in front of her, she nearly cried out for help. Normally, she would be able to deal with her older cousin, and she often beat the cr*p out of her weaker cousin.

But she, who had been attacking the whole time today, did not realize that her cousin had been holding back her strength the whole time... until now, when she had almost depleted more than 80% of her soul power reserve.

"Coward!" First Princess Iris thought angrily as she gritted her teeth and closed her eyes for the incoming impact.

But the impact that she was waiting for did not come. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes and saw the back of a tall man with electric blue hair and broad shoulders standing in front of her.

She looked past him and saw that the wave that was about to badly hurt her earlier had been frozen, and a spear was stuck into the seabed, right in front of the frozen wave.

"Are you alright?" the man asked with a worried tone, but he did not look back at her. Instead, his eyes were on the wave in front of him… or perhaps it was on the woman that he could barely see, who was on one knee and breathing heavily.

It looked like she was about to collapse anytime soon.

"Let me just finish her this time!"

Having just been saved, her expression changed from fearful to one that was braver. She brandished her sword and moved forward, making a few slashing moves at the frozen wave.

SWISH!

SWISH!

SWISH!

The tiny pieces of frozen wave fell like snow, before being melted into the seabed.

"You b*tch! How dare you used such a spell on me, the First Princess of Terre D'eau! That's obviously a murder attempt!" First Princess Iris snapped. With her sword raised, she rushed toward Princess Cecile, who was panting hard and was on one of her knees.
