When Juin slowly sat himself down at the chair opposite Tucker, he could not help but be wary of this unpredictable teacher of him, who was sometimes kind and sometimes mean. He liked Tucker, who was the best teacher he ever had, but at this moment, he wanted to send a flaming arrow through this man's heart.

"Juin, this," Tucker was about to say something when he saw Juin slowly pushing his chair back, creating a bigger distance between them. "I'm not going to punch you anymore. Sit still…"

"Not going to punch me…" Juin thought bitterly, "but I'm sure you'd have other ways to play tricks on me."

And it seemed that his expression had reflected the thoughts in his mind because Tucker quickly took out a small red pouch from his pocket and tossed it at his student, who then caught it promptly before holding it far from his face with a look of distrust.

"There you go. As my apology. Take a look; it's a very nice apology gift."

Juin looked inside the pouch and saw a small, round pill, the same one that Tucker gave Arthur earlier. This was rather nice since Juin did not have any of it, but it would have been nicer if he could receive it without getting hurt in advance.

"Geez, thanks… I will keep it for next time, when you actually break something on my body…" he said rather sarcastically as he kept the pouch back in his own Dimensional Pocket.

Once the glow from his Dimensional Pocket died down, Juin looked at Tucker and asked, "So, why did you attack me?"

"Like I said, a punishment for you…" Tucker said before leaning back in the chair and crossing his legs together, looking fully like a member of the upper echelon that he was born in.

"Why? What have I done? If this is about me not standing up for you when Doctor Adelie attacked you, that's because she's obviously stronger than me!" Juin defended himself with a frown.

"No…" Tucker said nonchalantly. He then frowned and added, "But it's related."

Leaning forward, he placed his chin on his interlinked fingers and said, "Why did you jump in to save the boy just now?"

"He was in danger," Juin replied immediately, not thinking too much about the question.

Tucker stared at him for a few, long uncomfortable seconds before asking with a somewhat exasperated expression, "Did you think of the consequences that might be caused by your recklessness?"

"I… I just thought that he was in a danger…"

"That crown prince, Renaud, as well as his sister… They are both stronger than you. Much stronger. I'm sure you could have felt their strength just by watching them. Have you thought about your own life before taking such a stupid risk?"

"I…" Juin's face reddened slightly as he thought about Tucker's words. It was true that they were much stronger and that he did not think about that when he jumped in.

"And why is it that you can stand still when Adelie is attacking me, your teacher, but you can't do it when a strange boy is being attacked?"

"That's different!" Juin voiced out his dissatisfaction, unknowingly raising his voice slightly. "You are you. You are strong, and you could defend yourself if you want to, but he's just a defenseless little boy…"

"A little slave boy…" Tucker pointed out emotionlessly, almost as if he was talking about a rock by the roadside.

And hearing his tone, Juin found himself angered by the man that respected. With his voice slightly raised, he snapped, "A slave is still a human!"

"Not here, Juin… A slave is whatever his or her owner wants him or her to be. You should have considered things thoroughly before you acted rashly. If you had been hit by the attack by Iris, you'd have gotten severely injured! There were guards around, you should have let them do their work."

"But they didn't even move an inch!" Juin pointed out, his voice rising slightly. "What's the point of getting stronger if I just stand still and do nothing?!"

"That's none of your business…" Tucker said with a sigh, leaning back into his chair. He then narrowed his eyes as he said with a tight voice, "And do not make the mistake and think that you are strong just because you are stronger than before."

He could see the dissatisfaction and the raised veins on Juin's face, but Tucker still continued, "I told you, when we were coming down here, do not attempt to change the fate of the people here. They are not earthlings, and they are not your responsibility. Look at what happened to Atlas' country and people! Have you thought about the effect of your action on the Order? As well as the danger that you are putting everyone in if things escalate out of control?"

When Tucker's words finally set in, Juin slumped back in his seat. Tucker was right. He did not think about the consequences at all, or what it would mean for the Order. Most people from the Order who came to Arconis were mostly those who would be participating in the battle and their parents, which meant that a large chunk of them was still teenagers or even younger.

If he had truly angered Iris, or worse, Crown Prince Renaud, he might cause a war between the Order and Arconis. Given the fact that only a selected few were capable of water or water-related powers, that meant that a big group of them would be quite weak against the underwater people, who were right in their element.

"If everyone thought that way, then no one would protect the weak ones like Arthur," Juin said weakly. "What had he done wrong? Other than to be born with markings of a different glow? Why should he be deemed a slave just because a long, long time ago, someone from his original country decided to do something that the others thought to be evil and selfish?!"

After a long, awkward silence, Tucker sighed and said, "I'm not saying that you can't help him…" When Juin finally looked at him again, he added, "You cannot openly go against First Princess Iris, or any of the main royals…"

Lowering his voice, Tucker then said, "But you can do it discreetly."

Somewhat confused, Juin's mouth opened and closed for a few seconds, before he said uncertainly, "What?"

"You idiot, he's saying that you can help if no one else knows that it's you who are helping…" The arrogant voice which had been quiet for the last few hours finally made its appearance again.
