Azren's heart pounded faster upon hearing the idol's question. He once again heard the idol mention jealousy, and he couldn't reply to the idol's question.

He wasn't sure about the terms 'jealousy,' but if they were talking about the unpleasant feeling in the heart, then he could say that he didn't feel that kind of thing when Michy was acting weird around Elias.

For some reason, he felt more discomfort earlier when he heard the idol's idea to date a girl. For some reason, he felt comfortable around Elias.

But now when he heard Michy suddenly talk about his relationship with Elias, he couldn't help but feel curious. He indeed felt something strange between the idol and the golden-eyed man, but he decided to suppress his curiosity first.

"Just talk with him first. You can explain everything to me earlier," Azren finally replied to the idol's question.

Azren knew so little about jealousy in the human world. Not all people had the right to feel jealous. Only those who were in a relationship and had a commitment to be together had the right to feel jealousy.

And because his relationship with Michy was merely professional, he pressed his heart not to feel jealous because he knew that he didn't have the right for that.

He was about to continue his steps to his room, but he stopped again when he heard Michy chuckle.

"Why do I need to explain everything to you, Azren?" The silver-haired idol questioned him again while looking up at him, who was standing beside the couch. "We are not dating or something, so I don't have to explain anything to you, right?"

Azren could feel a pinch in his heart upon hearing the idol's question.

He was just thinking that their relationship was merely professional, but the idol suddenly came to him to emphasize that there was indeed nothing between them.

For some reason, he felt the bitterness in his heart, but he couldn't say it out loud.

"You are right, Michy," Azren replied again. "You can do anything with him without needing to explain to me. I will be in my room if you need me."

Smiling bitterly, the demon decided to continue his steps toward his room without waiting for the idol's reply.

'Stupid. Michy won't need me anymore because he has Elias with him now,' Azren scolded himself as he walked towards his room.

He didn't want to know about Michy and Elias anymore.

Many times he thought that he was a worthless demon, but today he felt that he was hopeless.

Azren had left the room, and now there were only Michy and Elias in the room.

Michy looked shocked upon hearing his assistant's response, and for a moment, he kept his blue eyes in the direction when Azren walked like a zombie.

He only turned his head when he heard someone clear his throat. Of course, it was Elias who interrupted his thought.

It was obvious that Michy looked uncomfortable in his seat, but Elias kept smiling at him as if he was pleased by the idol's discomfort look.

"It has been eight years, right, Michy? You have changed a lot."

Michy could hear Elias speaking, and he glimpsed at the older man. He observed the man's appearance, and he could see that the man didn't change much.

Apart from the blonde locks that looked a bit longer now, he didn't see any difference from the man.

Eight years had passed, but the man didn't look like he was aging too much. Michy knew that the man was in his thirty now, but he didn't look so different from the man when he was still in his twenty-two.

Michy hated himself for still remembering the man's appearance eight years ago.

"I remember you hate it when your hair grew longer, Michy. What makes you decide to grow your silver hair now, Michy?"

Michy had been ignoring the older man, but the said man still got the nerve to ask him a question.

"It's because someone suddenly left me alone, so I didn't have someone to give me a haircut when I needed it," Michy finally answered even if he wasn't looking at the man.

He just made an excuse. It wasn't like he wanted to grow his hair until it passed his ears, but he just didn't have time to think about his look lately.

He was so stressed because of what happened, and he didn't even look at his reflection in the mirror properly.

Other people around him seemed busy with their activity and failed to notice the difference in him, but Elias, someone who just returned to his life, immediately caught the difference in him.

'Azren didn't even notice that my hair has grown longer, but this man immediately saw that,' Michy couldn't help but compare the two blonds.

Meanwhile, Elias smiled wistfully at the young boy. In the past, he was Michy's personal barber. It wasn't like he pocketed a certificate to be a personal barber, but he was indeed the one who would help Michy with his hair.

"You are a famous idol now, Michy. I know you have your own stylist that can give you a haircut if you need it," Elias finally replied after reminiscing enough.

However, Michy remained silent after hearing the man's reply. Instead of feeling satisfied by the reply, the idol kept glaring at the man as if he was telling that the kind of reply was not the thing he wanted to hear.

Elias seemed to be able to read the boy's mind, and he sighed as he spoke again, "I have my reason behind my sudden decision eight years ago, Michy."

Michy snickered upon hearing the response, "You have your reason, but you didn't have time to even let me know that you would leave me, right?"

The young idol was being sarcastic, and Elias sighed heavily. "I think we should forget about the past, Michy. Now I'm here for you, and that should be enough for you, right?"

Again, the pair of blue eyes glared at the blonde dangerously. "You think it should be enough? If my clumsy assistant didn't hit you earlier, do you think you would go to find me?"

Michy was not a naive boy anymore, and he wouldn't believe in the man's excuse. He was too innocent eight years ago, and he believed in what the man said. That only gave him unbearable pain.

Now he could think with his rationality, and he didn't want to give a second chance to someone who had left me without a word.

"I would still try to find you even if your lovely assistant didn't hit me earlier, Michy."

The young idol ignored the way Elias address his assistant and chose to focus on the man's earlier words. "You would still try to find me? Is it because of money? You don't have anything now, and that's why you wanted to meet me again, right?"

Michy was being rude, and his harsh questions stunned the blonde. Perhaps the man was offended by the questions, but Michy could care less. The man also had hurt him in the past.

"I indeed don't have money now, but that's not the reason why I tried to find you, Michy," Elias spoke again softly. "I thought you would live well after you were adopted by your foster parents and finally managed to debut as an idol, but now that you are facing difficulty, I want to stay by your side."

Michy really wanted to sneer at the man, but he tried to hold himself and just remained quiet in his position.

"And I also noticed that you've changed a lot, Michy. You are no longer my gentle and sweet boy, and I think I need to stay by your side to help you return to your old self."

This time, Michy couldn't hold back anymore and sneer for real. "Why do I need to return to my old self? Do you want to see me cry again every time I remember my late parents? Do you want me to hide under my bed again every time I get bullied by others? You want to see me that weak again?"

The pair of blue eyes moistened when the owner threw a series of questions toward the older man. He didn't want to be seen as a weak boy who couldn't do anything, but remembering the past event still brought pain in his heart.

Elias used to be by his side when he was down, but the man suddenly left him without a word eight years ago. Even though Elias had come back to his side again, Michy didn't want to rely on the golden-eyed man anymore.

However, Michy was not a person who wouldn't forget his debt, and he intended to pay what he owed to the older man.

"I will let you work for me and live here with me, but you should treat me as a stranger.. Don't cross the line."
