"Guys I found the general." Quinn said as he created some distance between him and the enemy.
"Do you need backup?" Jake said in reply. Quinn continued to evading once more as the general tried pinning him down.
"Just continue doing your task there should be plebnty of enemies left for all of you to kill." Quinn replied as he used [Flash Step] to dodge again.
"Kaguya will take charge for a while. Make sure to keep a lookout for incoming enemies." At this, Quinn turned off his [Voice Chat] – barely dodging the skill shot of the general which came at the same time.
"You've got a lot of nerve attacking the strongest general of this continent." The general proclaimed, swinging his mace from a distance. It shouldn't have hit but, it did. Quinn felt the blow touch his body – immediately breaking the shield he casted on himself.
"What the…"
"Don't bother thinking boy." The general continued, swinging again and this time, Quinn knew better than to stay put. He moved out of range and sure enough, the structures behind him got smashed down.
"This'll be a bit interesting." He said to himself as he decided to close the distance between him and the general. If the enemy has a long-range advantage, then he can do nothing else but to get closer. Although, having a mace as a weapon is not assuring of his chances in this distance.
"So you decide to court death?" The general said, having his weapon glow with black flames.
"Yeah, I'm not so sure with the courting part. But somebody is definitely dying between us." The Elite's leader replied.
At this, Quinn used a combination of [Detonate] and [Explosion]. His enemy swung so hard that he was sent flying. Quinn activated the skill combination and, the general got caught with the explosions created.
He got burns from the general's swing but since it only got attached to a piece of his armor, he just took it off. Quinn wasted no moment and proceeded to creating [Oblivion] one as big as the general himself. All the smoke from the previous attack got sucked in and, as he expected, there is little to virtually no damage done to his enemy.
"This is going to be more difficult that I thought." Quinn said as his enemy forced [Oblivion] to close; a feat which he never saw anyone accomplish before.

Quinn activated these three skills and brought out the same lance he used during the fight against Zeke's [Conjures]. Through the skill combination, his attributes are greatly amplified in a short amount of time. His lance weapon burned the same black color as the general's mace and, this made the enemy grin in excitement.
"That's more like it!" He said, swinging his weapon again. Quinn was just about to jump but, this time, the attack hit him sooner – sending him flying to the nearest wall that crashed down immediately.
Suddenly he felt a rush of pain flow through his body. A lot of bones cracked and, although he just wanted to roll on the floor and scream, Quinn knew that there isn't much time.
He felt another attack coming and, used Merlin's teleport to change his location although just within a short distance. He then followed by summoning two creatures to divert the general's attention. Quinn felt hazy while doing all this but nevertheless was able to execute the combination.
"I wonder how many times he had to deal with stuff like these." Quinn said to himself, thinking about Zeke who fought all by himself 12 years before.
Meanwhile, the general engaged with the creatures summoned by Quinn. The human used his blood to create the creatures, making them stronger than normal. But even this would hold no candle against a general. That's why he it so that, one is a full defense type while the other is a full healer type monster.
The general would not be entertained by these creatures for long of course. Quinn knew that the fight would still end short so he proceeded to healing himself. He activated the healing spells of his team one by one, focusing on conserving his mana while bringing out the speediest recovery possible.
"Where are you hiding boy!" The general shouted, already killing the summons created by Quinn. He thought that his enemy is already heavily damaged but, he got another thing coming as needle sized projectiles began hitting him like rain.
Quinn is already fully healed and, proceeded to shifting his weapon to a bow and arrows. His weapon could change forms because, Zeke made it so. Using genes of morphing monsters, Zeke was able to create a weapon that could change shape at the wielder's will – a perfect fit for Quinn and his multi-functioned [Avarice].
"This is not enough to defeat the mighty general Kal'Thuz!" The general shouted, swinging his weapon once more and completely burning down the spells.
But Quinn didn't let up. He followed this by using the [Golem Summon] of the mages, mixing the attack with three different elements of fire, ice and wind orbs which hit the enemy at intervals.

[Projectile Cloning]
Using all of these skills, the general had no chance of performing the same feat he did earlier. A cloud of smoke soon rose, covering the general whom Quinn still stayed alert for. He waited for his enemy to speak or make a move because, Quinn knew that the self-proclaimed strongest general of the Demon Continent would not go down so easily.
"Is that all!" The general replied, blowing a gust of wind that cleared out all the smoke created by Quinn's attacks and, revealing a shield held on the general's right hand.
"Of course he'd have a shield." Quinn thought to himself, thinking how a heavily armored general would probably have one.
Suddenly, hands came up from the ground. Quinn summoned golems while the barrage wen ton earlier and, made them mix with the earth below. He added detonates to these creatures ensuring that they'd deal damage to the general.
"Explode." He continued, making the summons shattered into a thousand pieces as they are forced to becomes suicide bombers.
Quinn followed up by activating one of Jake's skills named [Pierce], as he morphed his weapon back to a lance. Then, he activated a skill which he acquired together with his new job class…
"Quick Activation. Skill Modification…Quartet."
Quinn seemed to disappear from the whole area, all that was left was a line of darkness that suggested where he is or, where he passed through. The general who was still caught up with the explosion, had his vision clouded. But he paid it no mind as, the attacks leading up to it virtually did nothing to him.
That is, until Quinn finally stabbed through him.
A huge explosion of black flames appeared at the back of the general – shattering his armor almost entirely. The clouds of smoke from the explosion cleared up quickly and, the general could only look in horror as to what became of him.
In front of him is the human, with the lance piercing through his body. Blood flowed out of his body uncontrollably and he began to feel it get colder by the second. But even in this state, the general refused to give up. He raised his mace, ready to hit Quinn again. Yet, even this is within the human's calculations as he said:
"Burst."
A second explosion of black flames came.The already devastated general was turned half-dead, with the dark flames consuming him. Kal'thuz fell to his knees, feeling all energy leave his body, not even having enough to scream in pain.
Quinn followed by creating hands from the shadow veil to hold the general down and adding to this is a blood sacrifice for summoned creatures, just like Horus performed. He immediately got the general immobilized and, Quinn continued on to taunting the enemy:
"Come on now, is that all a general can do?' Quinn uttered and, this was all it took for the general to snap.
Kal'Thuz screamed like a madman, having nothing else but Quinn in his eyes. The human backed away as he felt the transformation starting and, he smiled as he watched this. Slowly, all the wounds of the general began healing and, Quinn could feel his hair rising from instinctive fear. Yet, even in this situation, Quinn smiled because… everything is still according to his plan.
"Quinn what the hell are you up to?" Jake asked, feeling the intense amount of mana coming from their leader's direction."
"Quiet now. My enemy is still transforming he said in reply."
"Wha… Quinn!" At this Quinn cut off the communication, knowing that Jake already realized what he meant…in front of him, the self-proclaimed strongest general of the Demon Continent has activated his [Primal State].

"AHHHHH!" Jake shouted as he killed more soldiers.
"Fine asshole, you wanna die so badly? Then be my guest!" He continued – running toward a group of cavaliers mounted on their horses. This surprised the group which had always experienced enemies either running way from them or standing perfectly still.
"Pierce!" Jake uttered extending his weapon as he slid his feet.
"Overdrive!" he continued, creating a quick motion of extension and retraction which minced the cavaliers into pieces.
He left one of the horses to himself and, rode the animal which violently resisted him. Jake did nothing more than place his blade under its neck and utter: "Follow me or you die" - in order to make the animal obey his every bidding.
They galloped through the battlefield, heading towards the gates of the fortress. By this time, reinforcements from other fortresses would begin coming in and, Jake was assigned to lead the charge against these enemies. He still has the thought of Quinn on his head, making his blood boil as he saw nothing but the arrogant leader's face whenever he faces a new soldier.
"Help me relieve some stress will ya?" He continued, jumping off the animal as, around him, are a hundred soldiers altogether. Supporting him are the archers who stayed safely on top of the mountain, together with most of the defenders.
But.
Just before they could begin.
A large explosion came from where Quinn and the general fought.
