Before Quinn could even fall to the ground, someone caught him. It wasn't any of the elites but Morpheus himself. Contacting Heron immediately.
"Heron, this is the time I intervene right?" He asked.
"Yes. Please take care of things." Was her short reply. The elites soon followed, surrounding the area where Quinn and Morpheus are.
"Roger that." Morpheus said, bringing out his weapon which made the group back up a little bit.
Morpheus saw the expression on the faces of the elites. He thought of the whole situation and how the seem to have intentions of attacking him soon.
"Ohhh don't worry. I don't plan on killing him." Morpheus began, placing his weapon on the ground as he took out three white crystals embedded on it.
"Dad told me to help you guys use these in case the need arises." He continued, placing one of the crystals on top of Quinn's chest.
"Contain." Morpheus said, activating the function of the crystal as it absorbed all the miasmic mana covering Quinn. There was a strong wind that followed and everyone saw it swirling weirdly - with Kaguya even seeing the faces of the dead through this.
"Mory what…" Before one of the elites could even complain, Morpheus looked at everyone and shook his head sideways. Of course he'd explain things later but, at that exact moment, he needed to focus on Quinn.
"Allow me to fill in the information for Morpheus." Heron said through the [Voice Chat].
"Miss Heron, what is it exactly that is happening right now?" Kaguya asked, worried about Quinn.
"Well, there's a lot of explaining to do. But let me start with this. Within the Demon Continent, the mana flowing around is a bit weird."
"What do you mean by that?" One of them asked, with every member still looking intently on what Morpheus is performing.
"Well, to put it simply, there is a kind of curse on the mana. Every time you kill an individual within the continent, a portion of cursed energy gets absorbed by your body. Taking this in bit by bit everyday won't be a problem but, if you accumulate a large amount all at once, then you're sure to die. It'll infect all your organs and rot your body from the inside." Heron continued, shocking everyone.
"Why hasn't anyone told us this?" Jake asked, referring to the three main deities who should've told them beforehand.
"That is probably because it'll decrease the chances of some of you joining. They can't have promising talents back out of this fight after all." Heron continued, thinking that this is a possibility with the gods and goddesses.
"This is so frustrating." Merlin said, seeing another crystal placed on top of Quinn's chest. The first one was removed and, everyone saw its color turning pitch black from its previous pure white.
"Of course it is. That's why master has been working non stop in order to prevent any of you from dying. He might seem cold and distant at times, and even cruel. But he actually cares about you especially because he himself is a human from earth." Heron continued.
"And a proof of that is the crystal which Morpheus owns. On all your weapons, there is the same kind of crystal. Please go and check." The elites did as they are told. Amare actually noticed this earlier but, paid it no mind as there are no readings made from the crystal. For her it is just empty but, it is actually so much more.
"Those things don't absorb your mana automatically. In fact, it waits for the activation code." Heron continued, making the elites wonder the reason for this which she immediately followed up.
"The crystals cannot purely contain miasmic mana. That means, it'll also take out your normal mana. That would've been problematic while fighting since, without any mana, you won't be able to use any of your skills." Then, they all observed the material, thinking how helpful yet dangerous it is at the same time.
"So all this time each of us had a [Pure Mana Crystal]?" Horus replied, embarrassed about the fact that he thought of Zeke as a lazy bum and a bad guy.
"Yes and, mind you, those things aren't exactly easy to make. A pure mana crystal is actually something which is created and not something naturally existing in Mythos. The only way to have one is to take a mana crystal and suck out all the mana inside it."
"That sounds easy enough." Merlin said in reply, looking intently at the gem and rolling it on his hand.
"It does sound easy. But, actually doing so is close to impossible. Usually, taking out the mana on a crystal entails shattering it in the process. That's because the mana within the crystal is also the only thing holding it together."
"Wait so how did you get your hands on these?" At this point, the group saw Morpheus moving on to the last crystal he holds on to. Sweat has formed on his forehead and it seemed that he is having a difficulty with the task.
"You should look at the details yourselves." Heron said in reply, mimicking Zeke's [Information Window] which allowed the members of the elite to view the details to the crystal they are holding.

"That's a lot of data to take in." Jake said in reply, not being a huge fan of reading a load of information.
"The likelihood of making one is so rare that even the [Dwellers] of Mythos found a difficulty accomplishing this task. However, for master Zeke, this was a piece of cake especially because the cave he created had a lot of crystals lying around. He bought a lot of skills connected to [Mana Manipulation] and, things went smoothly after a year of practicing." Heron said in reply proudly, knowing that it is only her master who could create one at the present time.
"I'm pretty sure there were classified pieces of information mixed on what she just said." Kaguya thought to herself but, didn't voice out her concern.
"Oh and I forgot to say this. You guys should also begin getting the miasma out of your bodies. I've ensured that the whole area is now clear from any attacks. Just say the word 'Contain' and that'll do the trick." Heron continued, with everyone following the order
Unlike Quinn who had a seemingly raging storm around him, the other elites had it easier. In fact, they only felt the wind touch their skin gently as they watched their crystals turn black. But this isn't the only effect which they felt.
Their breathing got lighter. And all their muscles got the tension decreased by a significant amount. Their heart rate got better and, everything else about them just seemed lighter. And, they finished at the same time Morpheus did, sitting on the ground and holding three black crystals on his hand. All other elites dropped to the ground, completely drained from the extraction that just happened.
And so, Morpheus stood up immediately, carrying them one by one and bringing them to Heron. Meanwhile the [Dragon Morpher] finally gave the updates to Zeke who just began raiding his third fortress.
"Master, we've secured the area. All that's left is the crystal and then we're done." She announced.
"Good job. That fortress is ours now. Make yourselves at home and take a break. After I return, we'll be talking about the next phase of the plan." He continued, watching his [Conjures] beat down all the enemies in the way while he walked casually around the halls of the stronghold.
"What are these freaks? Why aren't they dying!" One of the soldiers screamed, seeing the [Conjures] rise from the ground as soon as they are killed.
The general of the fortress is already killed. In fact, this is one of the few which Zeke finished; knowing that it would take him a longer time if these guys activate [Primal State].
"Do we need to set up a barrier?" Heron asked.
"There's no need for that. I'm taking care of things as we speak." At this, Zeke closed the communication.
The fortresses he raided aren't actually part of the list of those which contained the crystals. In fact, he is sure that no crystal could be taken from the place. However, the reason why he still pursued this is because of the transmitter found on all three.
It is on these areas that the signal for communicating is strongest. And Zeke knew that it won't even take a day for some of Glade's forces to learn of what happened. Thus, to prevent the information from spreading like wildfire, he decided to jam all communications within the continent and, also outside of it.
"Ah here we are." He said to himself, arriving at the control room without any problem.
"Okay. Let's stir things up." He continued, replacing the crystal on it with one which he created. This immediately made lines of mana run around the walls of the room, the same thing which happened on the other two control rooms of the continent.
"Well, that takes care of that." Zeke said to himself, clicking the rewards for the missions set up by the system and proceeding to the next one. He opened the quest menu and, on it is the next area he will teleport to.
[Destroy all of the King's forces surrounding the Demon Continent portal.] Zeke couldn't help but smile as he said to himself:
"Gladly."
