Meanwhile, the ordinary passers-by all just thought that a new marriage should be considered a happy event and began to offer their blessings, causing the wind online to change again.

Ruan Tian scrolled through her Weibo and saw many people “blessing” her to quickly hold a beautiful baby boy and almost choked.

This situation was ridiculous.

Qin An had always been a stubborn person, but when he saw the new direction the discussion had begun to go in, he began writing a new post like there was a fire under his butt: 【Everyone, stop the f**king nonsense. Your blessings are going to kill me! Do you all have to really believe in a few casual words! ? Sister Ruan is my sister-in-law! She has always only ever been my sister-in-law, and she will only ever be my sister-in-law in the future! Don’t slander the pure relationship between us. 】

Everything else aside, this matter needed to be made clear!

Qin An had always only ever thought of Ruan Tian as his sister-in-law, no matter whether Ruan Tian decided to remarry Shen Shu or else if his brother managed to chase her in the end, she would be his sister-in-law either way.

Meanwhile, on Ruan Tian’s end, she had begun to feel regretful. She really shouldn’t have gone to the police station to help Qin An that night. If she hadn’t done that then there wouldn’t have been all these issues now!

However, since ancient times, a clarification from the person involved was most effective. Qin An’s words finally managed to appease his girlfriend-fans, and before long everyone realized that there was no more fun show to watch and dispersed on the spot.

——————————————————

Today Shen Shu had been bored and browsing the internet on his phone when he inadvertently read some news about the marriage between Ruan Tian and Qin An.

Immediately, his hand tightened and almost crushed his phone, and his usual quiet and elegant image completely collapsed. Without even thinking about anything, Shen Shu suddenly stood up, grabbed his suit coat which had been hanging on his chair, pulled it on, plastered on a frosty expression, and pushed open his office door.

The secretaries working outside his office were so frightened by the sudden appearance of the big boss that they stopped working one by one and all looked up at him together.

“Boss Shen…” One of the secretaries called out carefully.

However, before the secretary could even finish speaking, the boss had already strode away like a gust of wind.

Another secretary whispered to his nearby colleague, “What’s going on?” Boss Shen looked so unhappy.”

His colleague shook his head and said, “I don’t know. I’ve never seen Boss Shen look like that.”

Another one of the secretaries spoke up from the side, “I remember that when his ex-wife would occasionally come to the company to bother him a few years back, Mr. Shen would always look unhappy like that at those times.”

The secretaries in the office all felt unsure. In their impression, their boss should be a man who had a relatively good temper.

He usually seemed to have a good temper and he was serious and strict about his work. However, he wasn’t so strict that it was difficult to work for him.

Thus, the first thing the secretaries thought of was the boss’s ex-wife.

“Mr. Shen wasn’t unhappy because of the news about his ex-wife’s remarriage, right?” The first secretary asked.

His colleague snorted disbelievingly, “How could that be possible?”

Meanwhile, Shen Shu had long rushed out. He drove his car with one hand and used his free hand to loosen the tie around his neck. His expression was cold and stoic, seemingly indifferent as he sped through the streets.

He called his assistant and said, “Find out where Ruan Tian is now.”

He left that single sentence and then hung up the phone.

A few minutes later, his assistant sent an address to his phone.

The steering wheel spun and the tires screeched and left black skid marks on the road.

Shen Shu directly headed to the studio where Ruan Tian was currently filming a commercial.

Ruan Tian herself was wearing a red V-neck halter dress that showed off her exquisite figure, and a ruby necklace around her neck that rested between her thin collarbones on her delicate and snow-white neck. She looked like a bright and shiny little princess, and she was busy discussing the details of the shoot with the cameraman.

But then, halfway through the shoot, it was unexpectedly interrupted when Shen Shu suddenly appeared.

The slender and handsome man strode out onto the set and looked Ruan Tian up and down. His eyes were reddened to the point that it looked like they might start spurting blood at any time. He asked, “Are you married to Qin An?”

Ruan Tian blinked and couldn’t help but think that this man was really sick.

“You don’t need to mind my business.” She replied.

“Yes or no?” Shen Shu grabbed her hand and growled. Ruan Tian was a bit surprised. She hadn’t seen such a serious expression on Shen Shu’s face for a long time. In her memory, this man was always casual and indifferent, an unsentimental man who was steady like a mountain no matter what kind of wind or rain might come his way.

Ruan Tian shook her hand free and said, “No, we’re not married. Can you leave now?”

Shen Shu breathed a sigh of relief. He suddenly realized that he really couldn’t act indifferent when it came to this woman.

He could not just calmly watch by the side while she married someone else. His throat felt a bit choked. He seemed to have a thousand words to say but, at the same time, it was like no matter what he said it would just sound like the words of a hypocrite.
